"It smells wonderful," the elf said, taking a deep breath as he set his bow aside. Looking in the direction he'd seen Lyna head, the blond man turned his attention back to Sapphira. Inno watched Gabriel distribute the forks and spoons, her purple eyes narrowing as she smiled at him. When the human stopped before her, she snatched the untensil away from the knight, skipping away a few steps playfully. "Very nice," she said, slightly accenting the words to sound foreign. "Methinks you should do this more often."

Dante raised an eyebrow as Miranda came back to him. By that time he had successfully finished messing with every wound he could reach.
"Have trouble getting your weeds?" he asked, raising an eyebrow at the vampire's ripped dress. Running a hand through his red and black hair, the youth sighed, resting his arms on his knees, and his head on his arms.

-Gabriel smiled at her being pleased with his shoddy quick craftsmen ship. Then his human ears perked up and he fell slightly more in love with Inno as she spoke in a more foreign accent. He found it quite exotic and smiled stepping toward her and kneeling on one knee. He looked up and replying in his Knightly voice, "Aye then me thinks you'll be greatly glad to know it shall be done."-He bowed before her smiling and rose to his feet once more. ((*regards King for a few moments in silence, her head inclined* He'll do. *whispers to Ameika* I think he shall be allowed to stay with us. *turns face away*))

With a chuckle, Inno leaned down and kissed Gabriel's cheek in a sideways manner, winking at him before stepping toward Sapphira and her brother. "Smells good," she said, her mood elevated to the point of being almost giddy. Leaning against Vin'dehl, she smelled the air. "Really good. Almost done?"
Glancing to Gabriel, she laughed quietly, motioning him over. "Come and smell this! Sapphira is using the elven spices I gave her, and it's making me faint." Placing the back of her wrist to her forehead dramatically.

Sapphira smiled when Vin'dehl finished carving the pheseants. "Thank you." She heard him ask about her. "When was I ill?" She was confused about feeling better. "Oh, do you mean from healing? I haven't replenished yet, but I am fine." She nodded as she stirred the finished stew. When the rabbit pieces were done, she changed them out for fresh ones and wrapped the dried rabbit in a small cloth. She pulled her hand to her mouth at Inno's comments. "Oh~" She blushed. "Really...It's just a rabbit-fish-water greens stew....with your spices ofcourse~...You think it smells good?" She smiled and giggled with a lilting edge like the sound of a brook. "It is actually ready." She pulled the bowls out of their indentions in the warm soil, now hardened and without cracks. She cleaned each bowl with a rag she had cleaned earlier. "If you will form a circle around the fire, we can pass the filled bowls until everyone has one...." She suggested as she held her flat ladel and one of the bowls.

Lyna had heard everything that was being said, she didn't move from her spot yet. When she heard that the food was done and they were suppose to sit in a circle to help past food, that was when she kinda lost it. She ducked down the path into the woods, she couldn't really stay there with them, she was just a blind girl. She stepped quietly and softly down the deer path, listening to everything around her, she only stopped when she was far enough away that she could hear anyone in the campsite anymore, that is were she broke down crying.

-Gabriel could smell the stew from where he was but, like a pup being called by it's owner, he came to Inno's side. Noticing what she said about fainting he prepared to catch her if she fell-"You okay? Wow that smells amazing!"-Gabriel looked to Inno again smiling-

Miranda pushes her black hair out of her face"no but I did find some herbs to help heal the wound on your back, but I can't treat your cross wound some sort of holy rule or something like that"she shrugs her shoulders and she gets up and walks over to tend to Dantes wound on his back"wow that dragon did a number to you"she touches the wound gently with her hands"I'll have to make this into an ointment but it should help heal this wound".

(( No worries about short posts . . . :XD Look at mine . . .))

Dante flinched, gritting his teeth and silently glaring at the ground a few feet away. Saying nothing at all, he merely sat still . . . before reaching to pull his waist-length hair over one shoulder to keep it out of Miranda's way.
-

Inno laughed, moving to sit where she could pass bowls along the circle. Patting the ground beside her, the elf grinned. "Dinner time, dearies!" she called in a sing-song voice. "It smells wonderful, and I'm starving." Smiling at Sapphira, her purple eyes then moved to Gabriel, and she patted the ground again. "Sit, boy!" she called playfully, chuckling.
-

Vin'dehl nodded to Sapphira, carefully washing his hands with a bit of water from his canteen before drying them and helping pass food along. Since he sat between his sister and Sapphira, the elf smiled a bit. He didn't mind. Not at all.

((Aaand, sadly . . . I don't want him to notice Lyna's missing presense for a little while . . .))

-Gabriel blinks a bit and hears that dinner is ready and doesn't realize at first Inno beckoning him to her side the first time. His stomach just kind of takes over for a moment as he thinks of filling it. Then He hears the tall gorgeous elf's voice playfully commanding him like a dog to "sit boy" -He blushes deep red, liking that she's taken to him so much and that she feels comfortable enough to joke with him like this.- "Oh umm wow Yes my lady anything you command, I mean ask..." -Gabe walks to her and sits down obediently next to her-

Sapphira was smiling from ear to ear and didn't care. She felt needed. "Here." She said as they passed the bowls of thick soup down the line until everyone had a bowls. She sat back from the pot and enjoyed having people sit next to her with good food. "Mmmm~~ The spices were a great addition~" She tasted the sweet and refreshing water chestnuts and river-weeds, with the hearty tone of pheasant and rabbit bits, but all made better by the exotic spices. "Do you mind if I trade something from my village for a steady supply of your spices when I get back to my home?" She took another sip, her eyes shifting from Inno to the ground, suddenly shrouded in a look of desperation. She shuddered and looked up, the desperation gone. "So what do you-.....say...Where is Lyna?" She noticed the extra bowl on the ground with no stew in it and the utensils on it. She looked around, a very scared look in her eyes.

((LOL, yeah . . . :XD Finally!))

Inno laughed as Gabriel stuttered his reply, and then the elf waited for him to sit before passing him a bowl. She glanced about the group, giving her brother a slightly sorrowful look as she watched him eat. Blinking, her purple eyes moved back to the knight beside her, and she ended up using her sleeve to wipe a bit of the stew off of his hand. "You must be hungry," she joked, chuckling.
When Sapphira asked about the spices, the blonde woman nodded. "I can arrange it, yes. It will certainly give me something to do with my time instead of wander." It was then that Sapphira mentioned Lyna missing.
Vin'dehl was the one to stand first, and he nodded apologetically to the others before grabbing his bow and slinging it over his shoulder. "With the dark coming," he said in a low voice, "my eyes will be able to follow her trail." He glanced to Sapphira, unsure of how to continue. "Thank you for the dinner. I'll make sure she returns soon."
With that, the blond male quickly stepped away from the others, moving in the direction he'd last seen Lyna. Hopefully he'd pick up on her trail before real darkness came.

((^_^ Now I feel bad . . . I totally had Vin'dehl move from Lyna, to Sapphira, and now he's back to Lyna again! :XD And he feels like he's responsible for taking care of her! So he won't leave her alone . . . :XD Poor Sapphira. She's all alone! :())

((LOL< and look at that. I forgot to post for Dante.))

The male grit his teeth, merely continuing to glare at the ground in front of him. With an animalistic sounding hiss slipping from his lips, Dante motioned slowly toward his shirt, which was lying not far from them. "It's shredded. Make use of it."
His red eyes closed, and he took a deep breath, controlling his urge to shift forms to attack the vampire behind him. She was only helping him. Dante shuddered, the frown fading from his features. "Thank you."

-Gabriel heard that Lynna was missing and sighed looking down at his food as it steamed up to his nostrils- [color=gold"Can't say I'm surprised. She's been acting funny ever since that vampire had hold of her."[/color] -He stirred his stew around wanting to eat it but for some reason couldn't bring himself to. At least in big heaping spoonfuls as usual. Gabriel looked to Inno and smiled softly-"I know it's not my business but why are you and your brother so cold toward one another?"-He looked into her eyes softly-

"Ow," Dante muttered through clenched teeth, closing his eyes. He didn't thank the vampire, but he did nod in agreement. Not too much moving should be done that night.
"Perhaps it is best if we let them wonder where we are," the dragon said, lifting his gaze to the sky. "We can search for their trail, perhaps. But I don't wish to attack tonight."
-

Inno swallowed what was in her mouth before carefully setting her bowl down on the ground in front of her, frowning. The blonde elf wiped her mouth before speaking.
"My brother and I were very close when we were young," she said slowly, meeting Gabriel's gaze boldly. Her purple eyes gave nothing away; no sorrow, no anger . . . nothing. "We grew up in our village. There was a point in time when no one could say one name without saying the other." She smiled slightly. "It continued as such until just a few years ago." Her gaze dropped to the soup bowl, and a flash of sorrow flit over her features. It was a few minutes before she continued. "A dragon attacked our homeland, ravaging everything. Many of us were killed . . ." Inno's speech halted, and she cleared her throat. "I . . . I still don't know how many of us survived."
Another bout of silence filled the air between them. "I happened to be hunting when the dragon attacked. I was drawn back by my people's screams." Screams that still haunted her nightmares and thoughts. "My own house was on fire. We lived in tents, really . . . there were many trees. Everything caught ablaze, and I couldn't see straight. I heard my mother's scream, so I went toward her." A flash of memory filled her mind then. Inno fell silent as tears slowly filled her purple eyes, and she continued to stare at the bowl before her.

"Mama?"
Inno, though in her adult years, still called for her mother as she always had. Smoke and dust filled the air, heat and screams filtering this way and that.
"Papa?"
She dashed toward the burning embers of her own tent-formed household. What she found broke her heart. Her mother and father had been inside the dwelling when it had burned. And her brother was sitting just before the tent, staring blankly at the bleached skeletons of his family.
"Vin'dehl!" Inno's shaky voice drew the male's attention, and he stood swiftly, relief in his gaze. They embraced each other quickly, holding tight to what family they had left.
It was then that the gold dragon's shriek filled the air, and a gust of wind blew the elves to the ground. Vin'dehl drew his blade - a pathetic weapon against a dragon, but better than nothing - and stood to defend his sister.

"V-Vin'dehl tried to protect me," Inno stuttered, reaching up to wipe a tear from her cheek as it slowly slipped to her chin. "And he told me to run." The elf swallowed, shaking her head. Taking a deep breath, she seemed to shove her tears away. "I did. And it drew the dragon's attention. Just as it lashed out at me, Vin'dehl stepped in the way and-"
At that point, she didn't bother stopping the sob that wracked her form.
"He lost his memory that day. He almost lost his life." Her mind drifted to the ragged scars that ran across Vin'dehl's chest and side - the way he'd looked when the wounds were first inflicted. "I was so scared that he would die. For weeks I nursed him back to health, scavenging what I could from the remainders of my own homeland." Inno sucked in a shaky breath, her shoulders shaking as she leaned her elbows on her crossed legs. Her head fell into her hands as her tears came. "W-when he awoke, he didn't remember anything."
The elf woman sounded tormented, but she forced herself onward.
"The relationship we once shared faded the day he defended me." She swallowed, forcing herself to calm once again - though barely succeeding. "The brother I knew died." It was then that Inno couldn't continue. Breaking down into a bout of silent tears, the tall elf kept her head in her hands, sobbing quietly.

Sapphira had stopped eating her stew out of respect for the speaker telling the story. Throughout Inno's story, she had a look of sadness, but it was mixed in and out with a type of respect. When the woman finished her tale, Sapphira merely looked back down, not crying or shaking...on the outside, but on the inside she was drowning with a sadness for Vin'dehl. He had become her best friend of the group. .....so...warped.....no one...deserves that....I can believe a Gold could do that.....Unless!...What about that evil Dante!?... Her eyes, looking sullen, now flashed with anger and ambition. She muttered at barely at the range of hearing. "I will kill you to even out the balance of evil in you and the world..." She shook her head slowly...thoughtfully and continued muttering to herself. "You piece of filth from a manure-bug's bum....you have committed treacheries that i will avenge for the Dragons' name....the Dragon's Speakers....and Vin'dehl...." She just kept starting at her soup with a look of-what Gabriel might call it- Holy vengence.

Lyna heard foot steps coming towards her after she had stopped crying. Her head shot up as if she was looking at the person, even though she wasn’t really seeing them. “W….who are you?” she asked some what afraid to know who it was that was coming towards her. She was down a deer trail, no one could really find it unless they were a really good tracker or knew the place as well as she did. She shrunk back until she was almost hidden by two large trees, one on either side of her. She wouldn’t be noticed if it wasn’t for her hair being silver, it glint some in the remainder of the sunlight.
