Miranda sighs and shifts on to a deep sleep since she knew Dante wouldn't leave her alone like everyone else. She leans against his chest and could feel him warming her but her skin quickly cooled at his touch.

She was still hyperventilating as she clasped her pendent, she started to whisper a few incoherent words to it, there was a soft glow coming out between her fingers. Lyna was still crying, she was pressed against the tree as much as she could get, she was still not seeing anything other then the monster with in the darkness. Then she saw what she had called to help her, fireflies, they were everywhere, coming into the darkness, lighting it up, saving her from the thing that was trying to kill her. Her breathing slowed down, she slowly began to relax against the tree, her hand still clutched at the pendent until her sight went back to the half darkness and half light. She let her hand slip from it, closing her eyes as she tried to listen for where everyone was at. “Hello?” she called out softly, not knowing where anyone was or if she was still near the group, her cheeks were streaked with her bloody tears from when she broke down crying, she held a hand out in front of her to see if anyone was there.

((Wow. Sprockets? ALL OF YOU?!?!?! *frowns* *flips through a small old book* Well, here it says that Sprocket and Gasket are to be enemies until the event is over. *snaps book closed* SO. :talk2hand: LOL, nah, jk jk))

Inno glanced at Vin'dehl as her brother moved toward Cain and Lyna. Her purple eyes narrowed. Something was up. Again.

With a low hiss, Cain forced himself to take a step away from Lyna, his fangs clenched as he forced his instincts back - barely. He was ready to snap. This was why he lived alone - he was easy to rile.
Growling, the Fae took another step back before hearing the soft footsteps of Vin'dehl as he approached.

Slowly stepping closer to the pair, Vin'dehl glanced to Lyna. "Everything's alright," he called to her, and then let his gray eyes rest on Cain as he fought for control. He looked the part of a monster, a creature from the night. With a hiss, the Fae turned his normally unseeing eyes toward the elf, crouching. It seemed another fight was ready for them.
In a movement almost too quick to follow, Cain had Vin'dehl on the ground, his dagger spinning away from his hand. A clawed hand lashed down at the elf, but Vin'dehl luckily brought a forearm up to deflect it.

Inno gasped, watching in shock as Cain suddenly turned on Vin'dehl, attacking. Friend? Or enemy? It was the only thought that kept her arrows in their quiver.

Shifting slightly as the feel of Miranda's cold skin shocked him, Dante let out another soft thrum as he got comfortable again. She was cold . . . but he didn't mind. In fact, he enjoyed the feel.
The dragon glanced toward the cavern's opening, sighing quietly before burying his face in the vampire's hair. Her sweet scent calmed him to the point of almost putting him into a doze, even though he wasn't tired. A quiet purr slowly built in his chest, and the male shifted to wrap his arms around Miranda, pulling her cool form closer to him.

Lyna heard a hiss; she froze in the spot that she was at, fearing it was a poisonous snake that was ready to strike her if she moved an inch. She then heard Vin’dehl speak to her, this time she heard the exact words that he said to her instead of something different. She then heard a loud thud as if two people fell to the ground, she stood up, unsteadily, and she then cocked her head to the side slightly as she walked towards where the noise was at. Her foot hit someone, she got onto her knees and wrapped her arms around the person’s neck, Cain’s to be exact, hugging him close to her. “I am sorry. I didn‘t mean to make you worry. I promise that I am fine now, thank you for helping me so much.” She said to the person, still not knowing who it was, she started to cry again as she buried her face into the crook of his neck, not letting go, and refusing to let a fight break out.

Sapphira, feeling useless as ever in yet another tense situation, began to hum. She hummed a song mother would always sing when she came upon a tense situation and it always cleared Sapphira's thoughts. She closed her eyes and pictured all of the group members faces of when they were calm. The relaxed look on their respective faces, she pictured.

-Gabriel felt something changing in Cain and summoned up the Holy energy glowing radiantly once more as he saw the creature go after Vin'dhel. "Quickly Vin, Sapphira, and Inno look away!" He would rush toward prayed uttering the words "HEAVEN'S LIGHT!" as soon as he got close to the fight hopefully this would both stun and blind the Fae momentarily. Bright light ushered forth from Gabriel's body a radius affect and the atmosphere surrounding them heated up for a split second then the blinding holy light abated back to Gabriel surrounding him again. He then stepped back summoning his sword if Heaven's Light was of no effect-

Sapphira kept her eyes closed, but just after the light had gone, she opened them. A small amount of resonant light energy remained, casting a odd hue onto the plants. She looked at Cain and Lyna. ....I knew it.....she is blind.....and so is he....

Cain snarled, and struggled to get Lyna away from him - she had been the source of his sudden shift. The Fae heard Gabriel's words, and felt a strange shift about him, but his blind eyes didn't catch the light. He didn't see as others did - he used sound to form objects in the world around him.
Another hiss broke from his lips, and he was about to strike at the girl who clung to him when she buried her face in the crook of his neck. The action seemed to make the feral male falter, an expression of hesitance flitting over his sharp features. He didn't want to harm her . . . not really.
Vin'dehl pulled himself a bit away from the couple, his dagger in his hand a few seconds later. Watching, his gray eyes moved over Cain as he calmed himself down, slowly regaining a sense of control. The creature's white eyes closed, and the Fae let hiis arms wrap around Lyna for a moment - stiffly. At first, it seemed as though he would still attack - but then he took another deep breath, forcing himself to calm as the world seemed to prompt him to do so.

Lyna held onto Cain, she knew it was Cain because of what Gabriel had said, he might not have said anything about the fae, but she just knew it was him. She held onto him as tight as she could as he struggled with her, she gave a sigh of relief when she felt his arms around her, she was crying but it was silent and tears of relief. “I am so sorry, Cain. I didn‘t mean to make you angry, I wasn‘t trying to……I am sorry. I am so sorry, I didn‘t mean to…I really didn‘t mean to make you so angry.” she said to the fae as she continued to bury her bloody tear streaked face into the crook of his neck, letting her tears land on his skin, staining it red with her blood. She just kept apologizing to him continuously, holding him as tight as she could, not bothering her self with anyone else in the group at that moment.

Miranda felt Dante shifting around but never woke because she knew she was safe with him. She moved on her side more to make it more comfortable for him to lay by her. His skin was warm and comforting which reminded her of memories of someone holding her just like this.

((No worries. :yes: We've all paused here and there . . . *blush*))

Dante sighed in his sleep, taking in Miranda's scent even further. He enjoyed the sweet smell, like that of jasmine and vanilla - something only a vampire could give off, really. To him, they always smelled like an off-bit of vanilla. The dragon let out another quiet thrum, tightening his hold on the woman.

His breathing slowly coming in shortened gasps, Cain relaxed, falling back against the ground. Of course, the action took Lyna with him, but it wasn't too far from where they were in the first place. Feeling her tears against his chest, the Fae squeezed his white eyes shut. "It's alright," he said in a ragged voice, clearing his throat to speak more clearly. "It's going to be alright." I hope. Stroking Lyna's hair, he kissed her head, lying still for many moments until every shred of his feral demeanor dissipated.

Slowly moving over to Gabriel, Inno took hold of his hand. "I think they'll be alright," she whispered, glancing at the knight with a smile.

Vin'dehl himself sheathed his weapon, his gray eyes still on the couple as he stood and headed back to Sapphira. "I wonder what all that was about," he whispered, shaking his head. Nothing had happened though - and they were only a few hours from town. They would be in the city that night, if they traveled quickly.

“I am so sorry.” Lyna said as she continued to cry into him, she hugged him even tighter, refusing to let him go, she gave a gasp of surprise when they fell back on the ground, her falling with him, but she was still crying. She buried her face into his chest as best as she could, she continued to lay on him and hold him close, wanting to just cry into him and be forgiven for making him worried and angry at her.

"No," Cain said, his duel toned voice sounding a bit dull. "You shouldn't be sorry. I'm the one who should be apologizing." Continuing to stroke the girl's hair, the Fae sighed, his white eyes opening as he looked down to the girl who clung to him. "I couldn't control myself," he said quietly, a frown on his face. "I was afraid that I would hurt you. I . . ." he hesitated, "I wanted to hurt you. Kill you." For a moment, he looked disgusted. "But I can't. I won't."
Hugging the girl to him once again, Cain ignored her bloody tears as they touched his skin.
"A dark aura draws darkness out of me," the Fae said quietly, not quite sure if she'd understand. "It's one of the many reasons I live alone."

“Do I have a dark aura?” Lyna asked him softly as she sniffled some, she had stopped crying or was trying to stop crying so that she could talk to him in a normal voice instead of the sad tear filled one that she had or was speaking to him in. She pulled away enough to wipe at the tears on her face, she couldn’t see him or anyone for that matter, but she was trying hard to be better and not burden them like she had just did. Her face softened, she seemed to look down at him, her features then got a sad look to them as it continued to seem like she was looking down at him. “You don‘t have to come with us anymore……you can go home.” she whispered to him in a small voice, it was to hide the sadness in it, personally in a way it was killing her to tell him that he could leave and come with them anymore.

Miranda breaths lightly on Dantes chest his closeness making her feel alot safer. His warmth and comfort were relaxing to her. When his grip tightened on her a passionate sigh is released from her lips.

"You did," Cain replied quietly, not wanting her to start crying again. She sat up, and his vision made out her form as she looked down at him. Seeing the emotions flicker across her face, the Fae let a hand move up to wipe more of the bloody tears from her cheeks. "I'm not leaving."
Forcing himself to lie still, Cain's white eyes trailed over the girl's face as he cleaned her up a bit more. "I can grow stronger. Learn to keep myself under control." For you.

When she sighed, the dragon's red eyes opened slowly. Gazing down at the vampire, Dante ran a hand through the woman's hair before letting it rest over her shoulder. Lazily letting his arm rest on top of her, he let out a quiet sigh of his own, loving the scent that his breath stirred up. Drawn to a vampire - who would have known?

“I am sorry…..” Lyna whispered to him, she was apologizing to the part about her aura, she did like the darkness, secretly she had always been afraid of it. When he reached a hand up to wipe her tears away, she leaned her face into it, turning her face just enough to be able to brush the palm of his hand with her lips when she speaks. “Do what is best for you, no one else. It is important that you do what is best for you, if not then you won‘t be happy and then the people around you won‘t be happy.” she whispered to him as she continued to lean her face into his hand, she sighed heavily as she got off of him and sat next to him a little bit, she didn’t want to but they had to start moving again.

Cain fell silent, merely letting Lyna speak. When she sat beside him, his hand moved to hers. "I wish to stay," he whispered, his duel voices making him sound a bit more firm than he intended. His free hand moved to brush against the blue flourish that rested over his heart. "I don't know what is best for me." The silver-haired Fae leaned over, brushing his lips against her ear before whispering. "How am I supposed to find out if all I do is hide?"

Lyna soon became flustered when whispered into her ear, his lips brushing up against it, she had caught her breathe, which she hadn’t noticed she did until her chest started to ache and she realized she forgot to breathe. She let her breathe out slowly, she held his hand lightly, she seemed to look down at them before she tilted her head back and looked towards the canopy of the trees. “I…I…” she couldn’t think of something to say to him as she reached her free hand up to her hair and started to twirl it in between her fingers. “We should get moving before it gets to late….” she whispered to him, she was trying to calm down, her heart was racing, it was a little hard for her to breathe, she was completely aware of Cain, she was light headed and she wasn’t completely sure if she could stand on her own.

Watching as she held her breath, the Fae smiled when she finally began to breathe again. His white eyes caught on the movement of her hand twirling her hair, which he found to be rather captivating. She looked a bit dazed . . . but he stayed silent.
"Is everyone ready?" he asked, his twin voices ringing out for all to hear. Standing, he let his hand trail along Lyna's shoulder as he waited for her to get up as well. "We need to be moving if we're to reach the city by nightfall." Which isn't far from now.

(Sorry I haven't posted in so long guys I was concentrating on the event and I kind of "met someone" i think. ^_^)
