Inno followed Gabriel's gaze as she finished her food, and then frowned as Lyna ran into the captain that they had been watching. Of course, at that moment, a key drop of rain decided to make her blink . . . and she turned back to Gabriel. "We should rejoin them," the tall elf said, her purple eyes lighting up with laughter. "We don't want to be separated too badly." Standing, the blonde woman dusted herself off, wiping her now-watering eye as she reached for her knight's hand.

Cain withheld the urge to snarl as the captain of the guard appeared in front of them. It was his aura - it was good. And it made the Fae feel . . . dirty. The slightest of growls started in his chest as the seemingly dark-haired youth gave Lyna's hand a tight squeeze, but he turned his now brown eyes away from the captain. Trying to break himself out of the bout of feral attitude he was having, the tall male glanced toward the others, and then toward the inn. Hopefully things would even out before they left - he didn't want to cause trouble, but he felt it quickly encroaching on his demeanor.

“I - I - I am sorry. I w - w - will try to be more careful.” Lyna said to The Captain of the guard, she smiled at him as she squeezed Cain’s hand back, she backed up slowly as she seemed to look around her, she waved at the man as she turned and made her way over to a near by inn that was in sight of Gabriel and Inno. She sighed in relief once her and Cain were inside, she turned around quickly and hugged the man, burying her face into his chest, as tears of relief started to soak into his shirt.

Sapphira (and presumably Vin'dehl) walked over to the inn to follow Lyna and Cain. She nodded a small bow to the Captain and hurried off to join them. She followed her friends inside and tugged on Gabriel's sleeve. "Who is going to get the rooms?" She figured if he Knight did it they would end up girls in one and boys in the other.

Fredrick leaned up against the wall again. He nodded to the woman as the entire party rushed off to an inn. "Something suspicious about that group, I better keep an eye on them," he whispered to himself. He yawned a little as the rain started to beat down heavily.

Gabriel and Inno made their way in to the Inn out of the sight of the Captain of the guard. He glanced to Cain who had struggled not to lose his calm. When Sapphira came up to him and tugged his sleeve he smiled to her question, "Well, I must say since none of us are yet married it would be best the men and women have separate sleeping quarters than each other. Wouldn't you agree? Not that I'm worried about you ladies but my affections are very great for Inno." Though it no secret, he whispered the last part about Inno to Sapphira, so low not either of the elves were able to make out what he said. Once he relayed his answer to Sapphira, he rejoined Inno taking her hand and kissed it.

((Eh heh. I knew I was forgetting somebody. :XD))

Vin'dehl watched calmly as the rain started to drizzle down, and the elf turned his gaze to Sapphira as she spoke of their rooms. He nodded, agreeing with Gabriel - it would be best to have the rooms split for their differing genders. Even if it meant thinking about her the entire time they were in separate rooms, the blond elf would do what he must. Giving Sapphira's hand a squeeze, he stepped closer, brushing against her lightly from behind. "I will speak to the innkeeper," he said quietly, glancing toward the counter.
Inno grinned, nodding. "He really has a way with people, when he tries."
Both siblings smiled a bit, and Vin'dehl took out what little money he had left. "I'm sure the price of our adjoining rooms will be lowered thanks to your deed, Gabriel." Releasing Sapphira's hand and stepping toward the rather large man at the counter, the blond male began to barter for two rooms.

With a blush as Gabriel kissed her hand, the tall woman merely smiled sheepishly, watching her brother move to get rooms. "Having separate rooms will certainly give us time to get to know one another," the blonde elf said with a chuckle, reaching for Sapphira's hand before releasing her knight's.

When they were safely in the inn, Cain stood still, his brown eyes lingering on the door. He hardly seemed to notice Lyna's crying until Vin'dehl went to get their rooms. It was then that the Fae brushed his dark hair away from his face, letting his strong arms wrap about the girl before him. It seemed that they would attract trouble no matter where they were.
"Rest well tonight, Lyna," he said quietly, his duel-toned voice husky with relief. He was glad to be away from the Captain - he felt ready to slaughter the man, though he had no reason to.

"I don't want to be left alone.....in the dark." Lyna whispered to him as she still clung to him almost like a child would do to thier father. She was scared, running into the gaurd made her think about being captured to be feed to the dragon back in her old villiage, she could only imagen what was going to happen once she was away from Cain. She hugged him tighter, burying her face even more into his chest as she cried, fearing for her life more then what people were going to think about her for sharing a room with a male.

Cain fell still, stroking the top of Lyna's head gently. "You'll have the others," he whispered soothingly, frowning a bit. "And I'll be on the other side of the wall, Lyna." Hearing her cry, the Fae sighed quietly, continuing to stroke her head. "It will only be for a few hours."
Silence fell between them for a moment, and then the tall male smiled a bit. "I can sing for you," he whispered, lifting her face to his. "I can give you light so you won't be blind during the night. I will be there."

"How would us being in separate rooms enable us to get better aquainted?" Gabriel asked Inno stumped by what she said and was left scratching the top of his head as she went off to Sapphira. He looked around feeling rather silly at what she said.

Lyna hugged the man closer to her, it seemed like the fear was gipping her heart and not letting go of it, and she did not want to let go of Cain. "Please don't leave me.......i don't want to be taken again.....please......" she whispered in a barely audiable voice, she looked into his eyes with her blood tear streaked face, her eyes showing him the fear that she was feeling along with the sadness that was making her cry. Last time she was taken from her home in the middle of the night not able to know what was going on until the morning came, then was when she ran, when she met the elves, she didn't want the worst day of her life to happen again and seeing that gaurd, the captian of the gaurd no less, it just made her more afraid of what was going to happen.

Glancing over her shoulder, Inno chuckled. "Girl time," she replied, winking. "We have to bond in order to keep the group together." With a laugh, the elf reached out for her brother as he returned with two keys. One for the men, the other for the women.

"Lyna," Cain whispered, his hand moving to wipe away her bloody tears. His white eyes moved up to the others as they started toward the rooms. "Please. I will watch over you while you sleep." I can see without being in the room. It was one advantage of using sound as your eyes. "The others won't let anything happen to you." Slowly stepping after their companions, the Fae took Lyna's hand and pulled her with him gently. "I won't let anything get close to you."

"You promise?" Lyna whispered to him in her soft voice, she held his hand tightly as she moved closer to him and followed him along with the rest of the group. She tucked her hair behind her ears, completely forgetting that she was trying to keep her handicap a secret from the rest of the group, who most likely knew by now that she was blind, even if they didn't say anything about it. She bite her lip, hoping that he could protect her from the people that wantted her dead, she just felt so weak and helpless even if she really was a witch, she wasn't that powerful and she couldn't protect her self like the other's could.

"I don't lie," the Fae said bluntly, his gaze following the others as they all headed up a flight of stairs and down a hallway. It seemed that they had adjoining rooms, girls on the left and males on the right. Giving Lyna's hand a squeeze, Cain turned his attention to her before they separated. "I promise, Lyna." Wrapping her in a comforting hug, the tall male kissed the top of her head. "I'll be close to the wall, near the window. You'll hear me tonight." He would sing for her. It wouldn't bother the others, or at least he hoped not.

Vin'dehl smiled at Sapphira, glancing to his sister before moving to unlock both doors and pass the key to his friend. "I trust you won't lose it," he said quietly, shaking his head. The blond elf laughed then. "Inno isn't much of a tidy individual." Leaning over, he lightly kissed the woman's cheek, blushing lightly as he did so. "Good night. Sleep well."

When she saw her brother kiss Sapphira's cheek, Inno's purple eyes widened in shock. She then turned to Gabriel, pointing and mouthing the words "Did you see that?" She then smiled widely, hugging the knight to her and kissing the top of his head gently. "Sweet dreams, Gabriel."
On her way to the door, she punched Vin'dehl's shoulder lightly. Her smile prompted one from her sibling, and even though he didn't remember their past, in that moment he seemed to understand her playfulness as though he'd always known about it. The tall elf nodded to her companions, and then yawned as she stepped into the inn's open room.

"Thank you. Good night." Lyna said to the fea, she stood on her tip toes kissing him lightly on the cheek as she hugged him close to her, she planned to stay in the corner of the room closet to the boys room since she was blind and wouldn't be able to see with out Cain's help. She held a hand out, she grasped the door, moving around it and making her way slowly to the spot that she planned to sleep at.

Gabriel nodded getting it now what Inno'd meant, she was referring to her bonding more with the ladies to make a stronger unit, the only other thing it seemed best for Gabriel to do was to attempt the same with Vin and Cain. "So guess we're to also try bonding? After all a 3 fold chord is not easily broken." Gabriel looked to Vin and Cain hoping they'd see his point.

Cain didn't reply to Gabriel, his white eyes were lingering on Lyna as she stepped into the other room. Vin'dehl turned from Sapphira, smiling at the knight as he spoke. "Indeed," he replied, moving toward their room. "I would like to truly get to know the people I travel with."
The blond elf waved to his sister and the women before stepping into the men's room. Cain hesitated, slowly turning his gaze to Gabriel before bowing his head and heading after the elf.

Sapphira nodded to Inno with light grin when she mentioned bonding time. "Sounds good." She said. ....It would be good to know them just a bit better... She turend to Vin'dehl when he returned. "So?" She was handed one of the keys and asked if she could hold on to it. "Okay." She was about to speak when Vin'dehl kissed her lightly on the cheek. ...................... She couldn't think. She stood with a faint blush and a blankish-shy expression. "Good.......night..." She mumbled, thoughts not quite straight.

{Es if you could drag Sapph away to the dorms with Lyna would be helpful}

Inno popped back out of the room, snagging Sapphira's sleeve and pulling her into the room. "Good night, boys." Closing the door behind them, the tall elf laughed.
