Sapphira nearly fell over when she heard Inno speak. "The dead lives?" She joked, but just after she spoke she nearly fell again at hearing what Inno said. With a thorough blush on her cheeks, she fought to clear her throat. "..." She couldn't speak again. .....he loves me?....I wonder if what she says is true.....I don't-.... She blushed so hard her entire face was almost red. "......I don't...know how....to respond....even if he does....I don't know what love is...."

"You don't?" Taking a moment to forget about her wake up call, the elf frowned. "It's when you feel safe in someone's arms. When the sound of their voice gives you butterflies in your stomach." Inno's expression softened. "It's a choice you make to commit your life to someone."

Sapphira smiled as she described it, then frowned slightly. "My kind marries for position and status...does this compare? You still commit your life to them." She thought about Inno's description. ....He makes me blush...I get a quivering feeling in my stomach, but it is like a soft flutter....Safe in someone's arms?....i would trust Vin'dehl to protect me if we were attacked.....is this what she means?... She thought as the blush didn't fade.

"How can you be happy if all you do is pick like that?" Inno looked slightly curious, but didn't pursue the matter. "Is being content a status? Or do you even think about the long run?" The elf shook her head. "How do you stay loyal if you don't even like one another?"

Miranda heads off for a smaller town in an attempt to search for the group that attacked her and Dante earlier. As she approaches the town a familiar scent fills her nose.

Lyna was just sitting there listening to everything that was going, Inno had a vallied point to everything that she was saying, it was what she was thinking also but she wouldn't have worded them exactly like how Inno did after all she was much nicer about it. "Love isn't the same as Position and Status. We people marry each other for position and status....it isn't because they love the person it is because they are selfish and greedy....love means you don't care about those things, that no matter what you have very stronge feelings for the person, would give everything up for them, and will do anything you can to be with them." Lyna said kindly as her face was towards the window, she was just telling Sapphira and Inno what her mother told her before everything started to go bad, it seemed as if everything was turnning out different.

I know the with the strong friendly bonds of the village, it is never an unhappy union.....but few ever experience something like what you describe." She thought about how she didn't really care about the position she had been born into. She didn't care even more now that she had met Vin'dehl. .....how can I explain this to her?...... "Then I guess your right...." She mumbled something.

((*laugh* Alright, alright. Vin'dehl is . . . well, he's a deep sleeper. :sweat:))

Standing silently, Cain moved toward teh door. May as well get ready for the morning. It wasn't difficult - a light shower, change of clothes, and then he was fine. After all, he didn't eat very often, and he was all rested up. Glancing toward Gabriel and Vin'dehl, the Fae smiled slightly, hearing them still breathing heavily. Still asleep.
Closing the door with a bit more force than necessary, he heard someone inside begin to stir. Good. It's time to wake. He then headed in to get ready, sighing to himself. He wanted to see Lyna, and the urge to do so was growing steadily. He couldn't get her off of his mind.

Vin’dehl groaned quietly, the sound of the door closing drawing him to the brink of consciousness. Morning already?

Lyna sighed heavily, she didn't know what to say now, so she just made her way slowly towards the bathroom, needing to take care of some needs her self. She moved slowly, feeling around to make sure that she knew were everything was at.

As soon as he "saw" Lyna, Cain slowly began to hum a tune, giving her vision as she walked slowly through the hallway. Words of greeting and care filled the song, and the Fae stepped away from the bathroom, rubbing a towel over his damp hair.

"Cain...." Lyna said his name like it was the only thing keeping her alive at that moment, since she was able to see now, she walked more confidently towards Cain. Hugging the man close to her as she breathed in his scent, sighing in relief. "Thank you for watching me last night." she whispered to him as she pulled away from him, placing a hand on the door knob to the bathroom as she debated on getting a shower at that moment or talk with Cain for a few more minutes.

Gabriel stirred in his sleep and stretches softly unconsciously and twists. The heaviness of his eyes abating and light slips under his lids. "Ahhh seems it's dawn and time to rise and shine as the sun does already." Gabe opened his eyes, and smiled looking to his friends, Cane and Vin. Vin who still slept and then looks to Cane. "Sleep well my friend?"

((Cain had already left the room . . . but we'll say he didn't yet. He paused at the door before leaving to go see Lyna. :yes:))

The Fae pulled his glamor back over him, looking once-again like a dark-haired, hard-working youth of the city. When Gabriel spoke, he smiled slightly. "No." His simplistic answer wasn't full of rudeness, but merely a statement about how he'd slept. He barely had, and when he did, it was only lightly. In an echoing voice, the tall male motioned toward Vin'dehl, who slowly began to stir. "He slept better than the both of us put together, I assume." With that, he blinked slowly before nodding and heading out into the hallway. Time to get ready for the day.

-Current-

With a low hum of greeting, Cain wrapped one arm around Lyna when she hugged him. It was so nice to see her again - even if she did look a bit disheveled from sleep. The tall Fae kissed the top of her head, and leaned back when she stepped away from him. "I would never let you go without a watchful eye," he whispered, keeping his duel-toned voice quiet.
Seeing the girl reach for the doorknob, he nodded, and began to head toward the kitchen. "I will be here when you finish, Lyna." You deserve a few moments of privacy.

"Thank you.....please be careful.....i still have a bad feeling." Lyna said to him as she hugged him again, kissing him on the cheek before she turnned and went into the bathroom. ONce she was done with her shower and in clean clothes, she walked out as she started to dry her silver hair, not moving because she was afraid to run into something or some one, her white eyes raked over the area, seeming as if she was looking around, but she wasn't really seeing anything at the moment.

He nodded as she left, and slowly sighed as she left the range of his sight. He would be there for her when she was ready. Leaning against the wall near the dining area, the Fae waited for her to finish before reaching out to her with his song. Come to find out he was "watching" her the entire time, keeping track of where she was and how she was doing, until he could "see" her once again.
As soon as she returned, Cain slipped over to grab her hand, pulling her toward a small table. "We should eat," he said quietly, knowing that his glamor wouldn't hide his voice.

"Oh....that sounds...good." Lyna said as she smiled and follwed Cain into the dining area, sitting at the table that he had pulled her towards. "What would you like to eat?" She said to him, knowing that it was better that he shouldn't talk but she just loved the sound of his voice, she squeezed his hand lightly before she let it go. PIcking up the menu and looking at it for a moment before she handed it to Cain, she bite her lip slightly before her eyes moved about the room, playing with a strand of her hair as she waitted patiently.

Cain ended up choosing some sort of pancakes with fruit, pondering what the heck they were. He didn't eat around humans often - and he rarely even ate at all. The Fae smiled a bit, and whispered to Lyna about a few of the meals. It was so nice to have her there, to hear her, to feel her hand brush against his. Never had he suffered from being alone, yet now he could hardly tolerate the thought of leaving her.
Occasionally brushing his foot against hers (be it on purpose or not, it wasn't certain), whispering with Lyna, Cain seemed almost happy. It was the woman before him that made him feel so content - more than content. He felt wanted for the first time in years, like there was someone who didn't care about his faults. It was strange . . . and he wasn't quite sure if he understood it, but he was happy.
Watching her face for many moments, his silver eyes filled with care. Please don't let me ruin this.

"We would like two orders of pancakes with fruit and some milk. Thank you." Lyna said to the waitress that came over to thier table, she smiled and handed the menu to the woman before she looked back over at Cain, smiling before her hand brushed up against his. They talked about food for a bit before she "looked" over at the stairs, it didn't look like anyone else was comming down stairs to eat breakfast with them, which was really sad in her opinion. "Cain....I am sorry i upset you when i showed you my pendent....." she whispered to him, her voice getting a little sad as the smile tried as hard as it could to still cling to her face, she turnned heer face away from him as if she ws looking for the waitress.
