We're just some strangers on the interwebz poking fun at something our real life friends would most likely not laugh at. Kinda like that joke about a cherry.

:shock:

The other day I was told a mathematical joke. So there was this party where all the functions were reunited, and the Sine and Cosine functions, who were having a good talk and all, noticed that e^x was alone in a corner. They called out to him "Hey e^x, why don't you integrate, c'mon!" and e^x replied, "Well, I guess I'm the same either way."

... even if you didn't find this funny, you have to admit it was at least educational :ninja:

I laughed at the joke, but it also brought up the shiver of a horrible trig course.
Oh e^x.~

That's a good one, sarof.

The e^x function is special in that whether you integrate or derivate it, it will still be e^x. When Sine and Cosine told him to "integrate", they meant for e^x to participate more and have fun instead of being all alone and bored in a corner :P

Now a chemical [laaaaame] spanish joke: How does an electron suicide?

...

He jumps off an hydrogen bridge! :ninja:

Well, in English "an hydrogen bond" would be a more accurate term, but in Spanish we say puente de hidrógeno (hydrogen bridge) so yeah, hurhurhurhur~

Nice joke there, Sarofset!! :rofl:

I rememeber that some guys in one mathematics class in high school shared a rather sexist joke, but then again most jokes are based on not being "PC" unless they are puns.

Women = time * money
time = money
Women = money ^ 2
money = the root of evil
Women = money ^ 2, take the square root = evil
Women = evil

Photons have mass? I didn't even know they were catholic.

One atom says to the other "I think I've lost an electron!"

The other says "are you sure?"

The first one says "I'm positive!"

I somehow feel like "white and nerdy" would be appropriate right now except skin color doesn't really matter online either, nor does gender. So, in lieu, I'll share this:

A biologist, a physicist, and a chemist meet the sea for the first time in their lifes. The biologist says he wants to explore the underwater faun, so he walks into the sea and drowns. The physicist says he wants to study the dinamics of massive fluids, walks into the sea, and drowns too. The chemist is left alone on the beach and for a while he waited for this fellow scientists to come back. When he noticed they wouldn't, he scribbled in his notebook: "Physicists and biologists are soluble in ocean water."

:insane:

And that sounds like an incredible job, Crow! :drool: I also wish to get a nice job when I get one~

I suppose if we're smart enough to recognize the establishment and consciously try to shake it up at various points, that requires a certain amount of intelligence... meaning most of us are nerds... -tidies away hir desk by putting away gundam model pieces and hir sonic screwdriver...-

sarofset- I remember in the past you could find them at thinkgeek.com. They have the 9th/10th doctor version, and two variations on the 11th doctor's... one that is more 'showy' (with the sonic green tip extending and such), and one that actually functions as a real screwdriver as well. That's the one I have. Phillips or regular in three different sizes each, plus it's SONIC! I was lucky and found mine in Japantown where the toy and collectible store was selling it for about 60-70% of the price that thinkgeek was charging :twisted: I couldn't resist.

But I has no monies. :( lol.

This is the real problem with me buying my nerd toys. I really really want a master sword too, but I can't afford one. I want one made with high carbon steel, so it's hard to find, and kinda expensive.

dudes!!!

Favourite youtube personalities? There's this guy in Canada who does absolutely hillarious reviews of Are You Afraid of the Dark?, which we all almost watched as a child. Even if you didn't, these are still funny.

Along with the AYAOTD summaries, he also has interesting vblogs about scientology and pretending to be a lesbian on e-christianity sites:
