Well. I have conflicting emotions. It was a very good thread and I was really involved in it. I made a ton of my friends in there. I just wish like. Well for one thing, I wish he would have taken better care of the danged thing.

He quit mene after we broke up, but it wasn't just me, he had this whole delusional paranoid thing about the mods. Anyway, then he came back after like a year or something, AND now he's vanished off the face of this planet and I don't know where the fuck he is.

It does worry me a little, cause like. He was going to all these raves and doing E and shit. I don't want him to be dead.

My anecdote is I was dating, then friends, with somebody I trusted with my life more than any of my step family to say the least and now that they have made it very clear (through an asswipe of a new significant other who threatened a DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RESTRAINING ORDER against me) that they don't want to see me any more... I have a whole box of things that i CANNOT throw away, but I cannot bear to look at.

Perhaps you can work with the mods to create a new Gay-Straight Alliance thread. I really think it is a 'cousin' to our thread, as we talk about gender roles and inclusion of all kinds of in-betweeners and transition types, and on the sexuality side of the coin you are inclusive of the 'opposites' supporting each other. If you explained the situation (via PM of course) I'm sure somebody would be understanding enough to help you and it is a very, very, worthwhile thread to have available to the users of Menewsha.

I caught a cold two nights ago, couldn't sleep night before last, things only escalated until I spent 4 hours in the emergency room last night. I would very much like to start another one, because I think it was a very good idea and even the "Awards" for famous gay or gay-friendly celebrities were even cool. :yes: I hated to see it die off. However, I wasn't really involved when the GSA was created. I knew about it and supported it totally, but like, I wasn't a co-creator of it or something. While I have put a LOT of time into it, especially after Thoth went away, its still his creation. Should he ever come back, I don't want him to be wanting to revamp it and get it going again, only to discover that his thread has been locked and I have a new one. That seems like fuel for a fight to me, and I don't want to go there. :no:
