My say on the flirting: Obviously, this is a hangout thread so while I expect insights and discussion I also expect, well, hanging out. There is no rule against flirting or having fun. It may not have been in this thread, it might have, but I do recall Tana-chan posting within the past 48 hours or so that she felt like she would never find anybody for her, se feels everyone thinks she's weird, and other really self depreciating things. My advice was to find someone to match your weirdness and other people popped up with similar saying which was great. However, I doubt Tana's situation has improved in 24 hours and all the extensive (a page worth's :sweat: ) flirting in a thread that is as much a home to her as it is to the rest of us, I consder a bit disrespectful, personally, and am not asking you to stop, but just to tone it down, keeping in mind who else resides in or frequently visits this thread. I hope I am making myself clear, here. It is not the issue of 'flirting' I am against, nothign wrong there. If I did have a problem with that... I wouldn't be human, would I? However I do advocate sensitivity and this being a 'safe place' for everyone, and I don't want salt rubbed in anyone's wounds? Does that make sense? I'm putting my wing-ed foot down not as a 'dictator', but as a 'protector'.

It doesn't bother me really. It just makes me more aware of my situation.
I always have possible prospects, but they usually end up running away.
Most of the people who want me, want me because they think I'm hot....I really don't see why they think that.
But I don't want someone who's gonna end up running away when they get to know me.
I'm even trying online dating sites, but I'm getting the same, your hot, but crazy reaction and people just stop talking to me at all. I'm loosing hope on the situation quite frankly, all the people who match my crazy, already have crazies of their own or are only online people I know.

The flirting happened because we were the only ones here. If someone wanted it to stop, or it bothered them, all they had to do was introduce a topic of conversation. Tana had left at the time. When she's here I obviously wouldn't flirt, because I know how she feels about her situation, and I know watching others flirt makes it worse.

Here's the thing, I've seen it in here before and no one said anything.

Tanna: If they run, you wouldn't want them anyway. They're stupid, or just plain cowardly. You are an awesome person, and I know I thought so before I knew what you looked like. lol. So regardless of the fact that you are rather attractive, it's not just your looks that will attract someone to you. I know how fricking hopeless it can feel when it's been a long time since you have had someone. It's also no fun when only the wrong people seem to want you. That was the case with me for years and years. You will find someone. You won't know it's happening, but everything will just sorta... click. It will happen.
