It's unique that you're doing that, but I've done that before too. As long as you don't mind; It sounds fine to me. It's not like your friends are the ones reading all those books at once.

I always read too many books at once, and I'm not a very quick reader.. nor do I allot enough time for reading. I'm reading The Vampire Lestat now though, and it's pretty exciting, so I'm getting through it fairly quickly. Every time the kid takes a nap, I'm back to the book (and then dozing off on the sofa... >.> ). But I'm also reading loads of other stuff, and listening to audiobooks. I'm listening to the Lord of the Rings now, read by Rob Inglis, it's fantastic. One of the best readers I've ever listened to - not only does he have a great voice and range, he also actually sings every single song. If you've read the books, you'll be amazed enough.. seriously, how many songs and poems are in those books? Really impressive work.

I can't believe I'm just staying in on a Friday night. The only thing I know that's going on tonight is my friend invited me over to watch some silly samurai film, which I probably would've gone to see, except he invited a friend of his I don't really like.. I just feel uncomfortable around him, he's so insecure and I don't get his sense of humour at all.. that is, when I can actually understand what he's saying.. and meh.
People need to invite me to things more, I feel so needy when I constantly need to ask everyone if there isn't some party I can crash or something. Dx
Going out tomorrow night though! Even if it means going to town on my own! T_____T

Ljos: I'd invite you places but it's tough when you've got half a planet 'tween you. I started Interview With the Vampire a while back, but due to school stuff I had to stop everything I was reading and focus on the two books I had to read for AP English (East of Eden by John Steinbeck and... The Bible). I haven't had time to read until now, like two years after AP English. XD

WOW, there's a guy at this store (Game Kastle, tabletop gaming store) has a MASSIVE voice. It's not even that he's yelling, because he's not. He has a really deep voice that just carries FOREVER. He's a cool guy. I've only talked to him a bit, but yeah. You always know when he's around. XD

EDIT: Also reading Harry Potter 6! Haven't read it since it came out. Still need to read the last one...

It's starting in like five mins, but it's a three hour practice so I'll just come in late. I can't participate in the acro stuff anyway, so I don't mind if I don't stay long.

Naw, I don't work at a circus. But I juggle things, and I got to know some circus people here and they invited me to come to their practices. It's loads of fun, though I can't do any acrobatics because of back and ankle problems, so I just go there to juggle and watch people and learn things. Learned some really cool contact tricks today!

Alas though, no parties.. there were just five or six of us and the two people that were there I know well enough were both just having a chill night tonight. Boo. Also called a couple of people and everyone's tired and not wanting to do anything.
The only option I have tonight (apart from staying at home alone, noooo!) is going to my friend's to watch The Return of the King, extended version. I really want to do something more active, but I dunno, if that's my only option I might just go do that..

My friend knew some of them and I went to a party with him, got introduced to them and told them I juggled, so they invited me to come to practices. Jugglers are seriously nice people. :P Actually some other friends of mine knew them too and I'd mentioned I wanted to get to know some jugglers here to practice with but they hadn't managed to hook me up yet.

In London though there are a few juggling groups that meet weekly to play together, I bet most places have those too. You just have to know where to look for them, but it shouldn't be that hard. I know the juggling shop in Camden, for example, hosts weekly meetings, so if there's a juggling store somewhere, they should at least know about some.
I found this tutorial on YouTube on 3 ball juggling, I think it's pretty good. :3

I'll definitely have to look at that link :3 We juggled in choir for a couple years, but I could only ever manage two balls (including with only one hand... XDD)

I just spent 12 hours at a Magic: The Gathering tournament. My friend is madly obsessed with Magic. At one point she was looking for one card, and she only got halfway through looking through her seven billion cards, and was already having a panic attack because she "couldn't find the card omgah" WHY WHY WHY WHY. *headdesk*
