We got the rooms! The pub looks awesome and colourful, the rooms are really nice, they've got small stoves and things for cooking that we can put in our room and use for free and the location is great, it's right by a really nice park and and and and.. *breathes* :D It's three other rooms and apparently it's all young people as well, and most of the people there are into art and music, so it sounds really great. I'm moving in on Tuesday hopefully! Excited!
Haha I told my friend I would be living right above a pub. He said it sounded like a perfect location for me. :roll:

My friend who's moving with me was a bit worried about there being no kitchen and if we'd have to buy appliances but I assured him it'd be fiiiine. I hope they have a fridge we can use..

ANYWAY I JUST HAVE TO TELL YOU ALL ABOUT THIS EXTREMELY ODD DREAM I HAD WITH YOOYOO IN IT O_O; Note, I've NEVER had a dream with Yooyoo in it before, so it through me off O.o

So, I was running off to San Francisco to meet with Alex (Alexxxiel, whom I know in real life ((if you couldn't tell))) because he said he would be my fake date (though I wasn't going to pretend it was real xD I just didn't wanna go alone) to some kinda prom thing, I unno. I wanted him to help me find a dress so we would both math and such. So I hopped on Bart (to those who don't know what that is, it's a really fast train... more or less) and got there waaaay too fast for it to be realistic, but oh well. So I run off to Alex's house, which he doesn't even have a fuckin' house there.... >.>; and went down these stairs to get to it since FOR SOME REASON his house was like the very bottom floor to it was like living in a fancy basement. I get to the bottom and I'm ABOUT to speak, something along the lines of "Why the fuck haven't you come back yet?", when I saw YOOYOO just standing there talking to some unknown black guy and Alex.

I stared all wide-eyed and was all "WTF?! What are you doing here?! Since when did you two speak to each other?!" And I didn't really get an answer from him, at least not one I remember.... Eventually I was all "Do you realize how worried I was about you? Even Patty was worried about you."

OFF TOPIC NOTE: I think I mentioned Patty instead of Erik because I talk to Patty more XDDD

"Who's Patty?"

"Oh... yeah.. you might not know him by that. Uh, L something... Fuck, I always forget how to pronounce it. L J O S B E R R I N."

OFF TOPIC: Yes, apparently dream me wants you to have a extra R... Suck it, Patty xD

".... That's not what Patty told me, but okay..."

Then he begins explaining his absence, why he's in SF, and why he decided to not tell anyone. Apparently his crazy German mother (okay... obviously German, since he's German... STFU D:< ) got pissed over SOMETHING he did and he needed a place to hide and the least likely person she'd assume he was hiding with would be Alex, which I gave him that one but was still pissed over it. I told him he should face his mother like a man instead of being a pansy and he was all "Have you met my mother?" I shook my head.

So, we all leave to go be taken to Yooyoo's mother.... who is kinda nearby for some reason? No idea. She freaks out and starts SHOOTING at us. It turns into a dumb game of dodging bullets and she only tries to shoot us, not Yooyoo. The goal is to reach a door without being shot. Alex failed at reaching the door, no idea where unknown black guy disappeared it, and I got to the door and started yelling at his mom about how ridiculous this all was. I told her this issue was between her and her son and she shouldn't judge us for... something, I unno. I stormed passed her and insisted me and Alex go dress shopping.

Eventually Yooyoo apologized or something, I don't remember.





I guess my mind randomly missed him...

Also, I've moved in and I looooove it here! Got here yesterday and am pretty settled, though half of my stuff is still locked in the garage at my old place.. lost key, long story, going to have to wait a little while to get it back apparently. Going to need some more space to store my clothes anyway since the wardrobe is tiny..
The people here are super lovely, I went for a walk in the park today and it was fantastic, perfect place to sit down and draw or take pictures.. there was also a really interesting comic exhibition in a small gallery in the park, and there was a whole room with Dave McKean's work! I fangasmed so hard.. I love him. x______x

Thanks! You know what makes me the most happy? I have a rooftop terrace outside my window.. and I can open my window enough to climb out on it! Seriously, it's a dream come true.. I love rooftops. >.> Even though it's not very high, or with a fantastic view or anything. It's pretty big though!
Dave McKean! He's a fantastic artist, did the covers for the Sandman comics, the film Mirrormask, lots of other comics and stufff... have a look! I love his dark, twisted way of seeing the world.. x___x

I dream about him pretty much every night. It's fucked up.

Also, his mother is Russian.

Dave McKean! Have you read Cages? It's written by him too, and it's incredible. The Sandman is my favorite literature I've ever read, and McKean was just perfect for doing all the covers, especially considering how dream-like his art is to begin with.

I have read Cages, but it's been aaaaages since I did so I hardly remember it.. I just remember I thought it was amazing! :P The Sandman is one of my top favourites as well, I've been itching to read them again lately. And I agree, McKean was perfect for the covers.

It's a bit difficult to describe really without spoiling.. it's about a girl whose parents run a circus and when her mother becomes ill, she goes on a dream journey through a fantasy world.. I'm not doing it justice at all with this pathetic description, but trust me, it's a lot better than I make it sound, haha. The visuals are Dave McKean's and he directs as well, the story is Neil Gaiman's. Is one of my favourite films ever. :3
