ooh! what's the most interesting aspect of psychology for you?

At the moment I am mostly drawn to the Social Psychology... how people act in groups, how they react to each other.. but also cultural psychology is very interesting!

I'm not really into the clinical things or the biological for that matters :P

clinical psychologists start viewing people as textbooks at some point in their lives.

not really.. clinical sees more the disorders... social psychology is more the reading of each other.. and I'm definitly interested in lying ^^; Why and how and seeing when people are lying!

I'd like to study human attraction. well, sexual attraction, i guess. I mean I've looked at some couples and thought "what the hell..."

Haha! I had that college last wednesday! What a coincidence! It was so funny! :P It was about why and how people get attracked to each other ^^

Well, the basic line of the college was that you have to look at it from an evolutionar perspective. Like.. why do we get attracted to young, healthy people.. and no granny's? Well maybe 3489503845 years ago there were people who got attracted to old people.. but yeah.. they didn't really get offspring. XD

So I don't really know the answer, what I do now is that mice always look for another mice that has the least same genes.. and that they know that by urine smell. And they also tried that on humans.. but then with sweat smell.. and that it applies the same! But that doesn't mean that you can look at it from an individual niveau.. but more that overall opposites attract ^^;

but yeah, I understand it from an evolutionary point of view. We're made to breed and all. Which is why I laugh when people treat sex as taboo. It's just a thing we do.

Oh god, I read something about sweat in the armpit and how it attracts humans/detracts humans. I scrunched my face up and mewled.

Well XD I'm a christian so I don't really think the evolution is real, but I think the mechanism is right.. Ofcourse our genes get passed on so we change ^^;

But sex is no taboo! It's a beautiful thing.. XD But it's not something that we should do with who and whenever we want ^^;
