I prefer cartoned milk, although there's never anything as good as milk in a glass bottle. It keeps the true flavor pure and awesome.

lol

On topic though, I don't think Canada could have lived it down if we lost. Hockey is one thing our nation is famous for and if we lost? Well yes that would have been a wonderful boost for America but the whole country would have to endure the mocking of the rest of the world for years of Olympics to come. That hockey team fought tooth and nail for the pride of our country and I'm proud of them.

I think America should also be proud of how far they got with us. Our best hockey team, on our own ice and we had to go into overtime with them?! Like holey Bananas Batman! And they still got silver, that's pretty amazing. I just wish they would cheer up and stop looking so miserable about their medals!

This!

Especially considering that with all the silver and bronze that the American's won- they 'won' the Olympics. (/Can/ you win the Olympics??)
Well anyways, they had the highest score.

So how about the American's brag about that- and we'll be happy for our world record, and it'll all be good?? ^_^

Congratulations Canada! I live in America, but I still found myself cheering for Canada as I watched the match. I cheered for my own country too of course, but deep down I couldn't help but cheer for Canada. They did better and they won. That's all I have to say about it. The better team always wins or at least deserves to. Silver is pretty good too, so I can still feel pride toward America.

I think I'm going to start singing O Canada now. XD

I'm a little bit disappointed in Holland, they are the other people I was cheering for over all considering I have a full dutch background. Oh well, at least my homeland is awesome. ^_^

I still think we did a fabulous job and you can't deny that we didn't give Canada a run for it's money! We did great to even get as far as we did, so give us for that at least.

Falconwing> Yes the US did play an excellent game, especially Ryan Miller. He is an awesome goalie, and maybe the reason the US got to the gold medal round in the first place. >w<

Still I'm really happy we won. ;w; <33

I hope you heard the news, Crosby isn't thanking Canada for the drive to win, He's thanking Pittsburgh Pa, USA!

Everything else during the opening ceremony was awesome though. Canada is the leading country in projection technology and I think it's really cool that they embraced that element of our culture.

Is that true? :O Wow, I would've thought it was some place like Japan or China! That's really interesting! :) I feel like I've learnt something new for the day.

Well that's what my teacher taught me and I should hope he knows his stuff considering his field. ^_^ I trust him, although if you have doubts you could look it up for yourself.

By Canada's own game do you mean Hockey? I'm not very familiar with sports though I do know stereotypes.

Ha, they won? That's really cool. :D
I'm an American, I don't really get into the whole Olympics thing though.

Congrats. ;]
