Ok...after 15 tries I finally beat Vanille's Eidolon. Yes, its a pain in the ass since you have to use her weak self to beat the crap out of it. Though, I did notice after the battle, the "Target Time" was over 30min...but with Doom cast, you only have like 1800 seconds or something like that. So, that makes me wonder...
If you actually had to fight(and kill) an Eidolon, how long would it truly take?
Edit: So I just did some quick calculations, and it appears that Ive got a whole lot of grinding to do to max out everyones classes. And this is from the begining of the class(Chapter 11 you can get all the classes for each person). Now, I figured it would be somewhere in the ball-park of 200k CP. Boy was I wrong. After my calculations, it seems that just to get Commando maxed out for Vanille(my Crystarium is at Stage 8) it would cost a grand total of 633,000CP. And thats just for Commando. To get Sentinal and Synergyst, Im going to guess its around the same. And of course, Im going to have a much harder time since I dont even have her original classes maxed out.

So yea my boyfriend kinda took over the game and is now trying to play it. >.>.....I can't remember chapter he's on but apparently he has a lot of grinding to do because he kinda just got to Gran Pulse and some of the missions they have him do the monsters are way to powerful for him. I think he still likes the game though he's just apparently annoyed lol.

Yeah, he's on Chapter 11 at least. And yeah, Ive been grinding like crazy and just recently got to this one area that some of the monsters according to the strategy guide should be ripping my party to peices with no trouble. Though Ive been beating them without much trouble myself.

Still haven't gotten a chance to play this. No money, and I'm currently living somewhere that doesn't have plugs for a whole lot of electrical stuff, and I've already used up the ones that are there. So I might have to wait a while. -_-

That's kinda weird most places have outlets on like every wall unless you live in an old place then I'd believe it.

I highly suggest paying attention, and I mean CLOSE attention, to the video between Chapters 11 and 12. I LOVED it, and saved right before, and right after. Its beaturifully done, and makes you want to be there in person.

Right now i'm with Sazh and Vanille in Nautilus and grinding away like there's no tomorrow. Which I have no problem with. I'm someone who used to level grind for hours while playing the original Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior on the NES. Of course, back then I wouldn't fall asleep while doing so. Curse my getting older.

Yeah...thats a LONG way away from where I am. Mind you, you should have fun after that part. Especially when you run into the boss of the next area. I just finished the second fight with him(Chapter 11 boss) and he couldnt even kill any of my people since when I got injured, Diversity with Hope as the Medic, Lightning as Ravager, and someone you will be getting REAL soon as the Commando. Though, you've technically met her. She is a VERY good commando, and thats about it.
Oh, and if you decide to grind until their Crystariums are maxed, keep going until you have close to 30, maybe even 40,000 more points to throw into them once you gain more Crystarium.

Haha I am still where I was on my last post.... I have had like zero time to play anything for a while... hate when life gets too crazy. Hopefully I will have time to get back into it soon. Messed up my back yet again, so should be able to be "lazy" for a while.

Ive never had a problem with it freezing, or even lagging at all. Its probably just some systems are faulty, and still filled with bugs.

 Yeah, it'd be nice to have the fanfare in there somewhere. In FFXII you didn't get it often, but after big battles it was a nice prize. ;D

I said this before, but it bears repeating. This is a beautiful looking game. Final Fantasy is always top notch in the visuals department, but I don't remember an installment where I had to keep stopping to just awe at the environment.

I agree Howdy. The environment is awsome, and inspires the whole brain-dead-stare moments. I should probably go back to playing it, rather than playing Modern Warfare 2 so much.

I've been telling my parents ever since KH II came out that we need the Fanal Fantasy series, and I plan on getting them. I think I'm going to get the new one, the commercials say alot and they say "BUY ME I'M AWESOME" so I'll probably get it. :)

I didnt really like the KH series. I love Disney, dont get me wrong, but a FF style game with Disney? I just couldnt get into it.
I wish I could get all the FF games that I dont own, but that costs money, and money is the one thing I have almost none of.
