Nope, it's not my real name (haha, take that stalkers!), it's actually the name of an old OC of mine. This isn't my first avatar/forum community (I've been on Gaia and such) but it's been a while since I've been on any of 'em. I'm a college student so I may not be on here all that much either...

So that's about it. How are all of you?

Welcome to Mene, Cara! This place is much better than Gaia, IMO. People here are more mature or so I have noticed.

Don't forget to read the forum rules and newbie guide so you can catch up quick on what goes on here. After that, if you have any questions, feel free to ask! Most of us here love to help our newbies and make them feel welcome!

Me, I can't look at a plant without it dying on me. XD Gardening is just not for me, but I think people who can actually get a plant to grow are pretty awesome. ^__^

Yeah, I slowly became a lurker on Gaia because everyone there just seemed to be looking for drama. I couldn't say anything without someone picking my words apart and taking them completely the wrong way. I hope it's a least a bit better here. :3

All places of social gathering will have people like that and I don't think Mene is an exception to that rule but, there is a lot less of that here. I think that is all due to the Forum Rules , honestly. There are a lot more posting rules here than there are at Gaia so it appeals to a older (even if just by a bit) crowd.

Aye, it's the internet, so I can't hope to get away from it completely, but I hope I can find a place that's at least a little more mature. I did skim the rules already, but I should go back and read them more thouroughly. =3

I'm a Massage Therapy major. ♥
I'll be graduating this December and hopefully I'll have my license in early 2011.

I have a few friends that are massage therapists and they love it.
I made the mistake of going for psychology...and I spend more time sleeping then I do on my homework >_<
So after this semester ends I think I'm going to change my major to Medicine :P

I love it. We just started doing deep tissue this semester. ^__^

Lol! I had to take a psych class as a pre-requisite and I did a lot of sleeping too. :D
So, do you know specifically what field you would want to go into? Before picking massage, I considered nursing, veteranary tech. and mortuary science. XD

Well, I already have my EMT certification because of my job as a firefighter...but I'm thinking about starting with RN and seeing how much I like medicine then before going all out as a doctor :p
