I'll post pieces from time to time and I'd love your feedback.
ALL OF MY WORK IS COPYRIGHTED THROUGH DEVIANT ART
that is all :)
now for the story: "The Old Oak Tree"
You pushed the bangs out of my face and rested your hand under my chin. "I don't know what to say to you anymore." You looked so sad, I could barely take it. I held my trembling hand on top of yours on my face. "All I need to know is you love me. If you can tell me that then things can go back to normal." Ever since my dad had passed I couldn't trust anyone but you. And you seemed so distant lately, so I pulled away from you. My last fragment of sanity pulled like a band-aid, slowly and painfully. You told me as you pulled me close "I will always love you. You of all people should know by now that I would do anything for you within my power." I looked into your eyes and wanted to believe you. I just stared into your eyes fading into them like I used to. I knew we had a future together, but it would take work. And work takes energy and that energy had been taken from me the day I learned that the person I looked up to most in the world died. I could feel myself leaning in for the kiss, but I knew I shouldn't. You knew too because you pulled me into a hug instead. Your warmth surrounded me on this cloudy day. You were always my sunshine, my life since my dad passed. You said once again "I will always love you." As I started to pull away, you grabbed my hand and we walked. We walked into the fields where we first met under the oak tree. We sat in silence, and I was complacent. Things would be okay, eventually.

this one is called "loss"
"I'd love to say I don't love you, but we both know that would be a lie". That was the last thing you said to her before you walked out of her life.
It started out differently. You hated her at first. The way she tapped her pencil on the desk in front of you. The way she always found something to laugh at in a serious moment. But you grew to love those things. She was special.
Maybe if you hadn't seen her crying under the bleachers that one day. You walked over to her, and just put your arm around her and watched her mascara stained tears run through your bleached shirt. You still have that shirt somewhere in the back of your closet. Leslie told you why she was crying as you listened, realizing for the first time she was a real person, not just the pain of your existence. Her boyfriend Lance had cheated on her. She found him laying there with that girl.
After that eye-opening moment you knew. You knew her eyes were the only ones you wanted to look at. Those plump lips were the only ones you wanted to wipe the tears off of. Her cheeks were the only cheeks you wanted to kiss to make her smile again.

But it was all over now. As you walked away from her you tried your best not to look back. You could feel her staring at you as you drifted further from her. She was crying, that part of your heart could tell. You loved her, but you had to go. You couldn't ask her to wait for you while you went to search for yourself. You couldn't give her an explanation because you know that she would've waited without you asking. You had to just leave.

The feeling of loss in your soul was more like you soul had been ripped from wherever it rested in your body. It was over now, time for a new leaf to be found, without her. You needed this as much as you wish you didn't. But needs are greater than wants...

They way you've written the first piece is quite interesting,
I've read a lot and never really see stories written in that perspective. :3

I like the language you've used in it - the story also seems personal.
Anyway, just keep on writing. I'm liking your works.
You'll only get better and better. ;)

Like some one suggested Let the Words Flow - FictionPress.com is a good site to post your original works. One can post: Porty, Short Stories, and books there.. Then Unleash Your Imagination - FanFiction.Net is for any and all fan fictions.. You should totally look into it. I have some of my old work there. I have not updated my stuff in while. I am trying to make it better first..

Let me know if you do please.

thanks so much for all the positive feedback :)
to be honest i was expecting negative feedback to make changes to my work, but here is another piece to reward the kindness :D
this one is called "New Years"
It was so cold outside. Amora only stepped out for a moment before jumping back inside to sit by the roaring fire. The New Years Eve party was supposed to be in an hour, but seeing as her house was pretty much inaccessible due to the snow no one would end up coming, she was sure. She grabbed a romance novel and cracked the spine of it. It slowly got dark, so she lit a candle and grabbed a blanket and dragged her chair closer to the fireplace. She glanced out the window at one point to see the marvelous white ibis. About an hour later she heard a knock on the door. Who can that be? she thought to herself. Slowly rising, she walked over to the door and opened it. "Hey Amora, Happy New Years Eve". It was that guy who had the cubicle next to hers.....what was his name. "Happy New Years to you too...Will." THAT WAS HIS NAME! Will. She invited him in and turned on the television. She offered him some water or soda and made herself a cup of hot coco. She never really talked to will that much, even though they were in the same division of work. She figured now was the best time to try to get to know him. They talked for a while, as they watched the countdown till the new year. She began to smile at all of the cheesy jokes Will was saying. He scooted over, closer to her, on the couch. He yawned and placed his arm around her shivering shoulders. Amora cuddled closer to Will and drifted into a daydream. The countdown began! 10, 9 she realized the snow had raised even further since she opened the door for Will 7,6 they were snowed in 4,3 only her and Will for God knows how long 2,1 Will kissed Amora like she had never been kissed before. He held her closely as the new year began. She was happy that her last memory of the year was kissing Will and the first memory of this year was the same. She snuggled into him as the snow began to stop. This is nice.
