I learned it like that too, but this is straight from the movie I believe.

Ive heard that there are a few slightly different versions of that particular poem.
To which movie do you refer Lunaris? I remember it from the movie 'Haunting in Conneticut'

I have it in a seriously old book of tongue twisters and word jokes. There's a three-page tongue twister where every word starts with S. Every. Single. Word.

I've never heard of it. What's it about?

Horror film about a haunted house and a kid dying of cancer or something that allows him to see the ghosts somehow. Theres more to it but i cant really say much without giving too much away as a result if you decide to see it.

Gah, sounds like exactly the opposite of my cup of tea! I'm really not into horror...

I'm not either unless I have a handsome man to cuddle me during one. ^_^

Even with the handsome man, horror just doesn't work for me. I have an over-active imagination (when I was a kid I would totally see things in the darkness, like big wormy shapes and ghouls and stuff) so I remember vividly the jolts and fears of a movie, and then transpose those onto my current situation. Mild paranoia doesn't help, either. :P Sixth Sense left me unable to fall asleep for almost a year -- I had to read myself to sleep with the light on to prevent my brain going "whatifwhatifwhatifdeadpeopledeadpeoplewhatifwhati f...."

I guess youre like the opposite to me then anime_scholar, because it takes some fairly nasty stuff to make me go 'Ok, now THATS effed up!' but ive never really lost sleep from anything like that. I can detatch from stuff pretty quickly too which is good for that stuff i guess.

Lunaris, im thinking of going to see the new Predators movie comming out very soon here (a week i think?), would you classify that as a horror?

It would make me jump out of my skin so yes lol. Not watching it without my man or someone to use as a hiding block.
