first one was 8.6 and another a few months later 7.6 (which crumbled the city) and last week was a 5.6, 5.7 and a 6.0 all in 5 hours. There is a new fault line that opened after the second. But there have been soo many quakes Christchurch Quake Map

over 10000 now in about 1.5 years

We get big ones every now and then. Usually, if there is and moderate to big one, the tsunami alarm goes off and sometimes they start evacuating the coasts. No, What kills people here is lava, tsunamis, hurricanes, and whatnot. There IS no escape if all the volcanoes go off. Only two are currently oozing, but all four are liable to go off whenever they feel like it. The island is a bomb of a sort.

Ive only ever been to edinburgh in scotland magi, and a short visit to aberdeen but i just drank at the metal bar there haha, so didnt see much xD

Edinburgh is beautiful though, its got everything within walking distance, beach, extinct volcano/hill to climb, city center, castle, zoo, pubs, ect ect :D
