Lexi looked at the man as he spoke. Lucky for him she was no good at picking up tells her boss on the other hand was. Lexi sometimes thought there was more to her boss then met the eye... in fact she knew there was more to him then met the eye... though didn't know what. She smiled at the man "Pink hair eh? I remember once I had my hair cut short... it took ages to grow back... not to mention countless visits to the hair stylist to get it re trimmed every couple of weeks" The truth of the matter was that her hair was very tough just like the rest of her body and it took a quite a few diamond sanders to trim her hair properly which her dad could easily get access to. Her hair was easily movable just you would be hard pressed to pull out a single hair from her body.

Kaden laid on the roof of a building, his tall form fully stretched out, the sun highlighting his brown skin. He was bored and becoming broke quickly, thus pondering on how to fulfill those two needs at once. He was starting to actually dose when just below him, he heard a girls voice, followed by a boom that shook the air. "What in the-" He cut himself off and scrambled to stand, staring down at a petite girl as she walked in the opposite direction of a man who looked like he wet himself. Intrigued, Kaden followed her by rooftop, watching her weave through the slight crowds.

Jinx felt like she was being watched, she looked around, but she saw no one. She shrugged to herself, thinking it was nothing and kept walking. "Must be my imagination...." She murmured to herself as she walked inside the Coffee Shop,"Sorry Sy, some thief tried to take my wallet."

"It's ok Jinx. I assume you found the guy." She smiled and put her hand in her pocket, her fingers curling around her lighter. She loved coffee shops but never really trusted the people around them. "So, what are you in the mood for?"

Kaden watched the girl go into the coffee shop and sit near the window. Another equally good-looking woman was already there, smiling to her as she sat at a table in front of the window. Kaden watched them, still intrigued by the girl. He studied her, wondering how someone like her made such a ruckus.

"Vanilla Bean Frappe!" Jinx exclaimed happily. She still had that feeling that she was being watched,"Hey Sy, do you have a feeling we're being watched?" She asked, looking around suspiciously.

Sy laughed. "I preffer mint chocolate mochas." She paused when Jinx looked around. "kind of... The focus seems to be more on you though... Granted I've also had the feeling of being watched all day." a shiver ran down her spine. Sy looked around, her eyes darting around the cafe, and outside.

"Yeah," Jinx replied,"Let's get our drinks and leave." She got her drink and took some sips.
"I bet that thief had friends," She mumbled under her breath.

Syrina took hers and sighed. Even the relaxing mint couldn't calm her. Could it be that odd man from earlier? she thought to herself, and followed Jinx. "So how did you end up with a name like Jinx?" She asked the girl with a smile, trying to lighten the mood.

Jinx thought about it,"Well, I wouldn't answer to any other name for some reason, and I kept shocking whoever I touched so yeah," She sipped her Frappe again,"People in my old city called me Jinx the Electric Shooter," Jinx shrugged,"I think it's an exaggeration though."
She passed a T.V store and saw that a robbery happening at a bank nearby. Jinx's eyes went wide,"I wanna see the commotion!" She turned to Syrina,"Can we Sy??" She said excitedly.

Kaden had followed the two, staying to the roofs. 'Great, now you're a criminal and a stalker.' He through to himself sarcastically, then quickly ducked as the red-headed woman scanned the buildings with her eyes. She seemed different as well, and he pondered more on the possibility of them being like him. If they were, they were not safe. He knew that, but he also knew that risking himself to save strangers was not on his agenda. He closed his eyes as he remembered the last gifted human he witnessed getting taken away in that van, he had fought until he was bloody, but they won in the end. They always seemed to, didn't they?

The hairs on the back of Sy's neck stood on end. "Is that really a good idea?" She shivered again. That worried her, she was never cold, not unless something bad was going to happen. "They're robbers! Probably with guns! They could try and take us as hostages! Who knows what they would do to us!" Her over-active imagination ran wild with the idea of such dangers. She bit her lower lip and reined herself back in, she could tell Jinx really wanted to check it out. "Ok, but we stay back, and if something bad happens we run, ok?"

"Okay!~"Jinx ran across the street. She stopped midway when the robbers got into a car and drove at extreme speeds towards her. Jinx's eyes narrowed and se took out her unloaded gun and pointed it at the now charging car. She concentrated and a large burst of electrical energy shot from the gun and blasted right through the car, the car flew up in the air and landed behind her. She only walked over to Syrina as the crowd stared in awe.
"Shall we go?" She asked.

"JINX!" Sy took off after the girl, trying to keep up. "JINX!" she saw the car her eyes wide, suddenly remembering her parents deaths. She didn't breathe until Jinx shot them. She just stared at her friend for a second, then grabbed her shoulders and shook her. "what were you thinking?! Were you trying to give me a heart attack?!" tears pricked at Sy's eyes, she was gasping for breath inbetween her questions. "What in the name of whatever did you do that for?! Do you have a hero complex or something?"

Kaden watched the stunt from the roof of the business next to the bank. He nearly smacked his head as she made her self a beacon of supernatural power among normal humans. He almost expected to see that van poised at the next alley, just waiting for the stupid girl. He rolled his eyes and stood, seeing this as a good time to leave. However, the police were still below on the scene and one sharp-eyed cop had seen him, and opened fire. He hit the gravel layer on the roof, bullets whizzing by, showering him with dust and chunks of the concrete from the edge of the roof. 'well shit, that was smooth.' he thought bitterly, waiting for the shots to slow. He could hear yelling, orders being shouted and general chaos on the street below.

Sy heard gun fire and stopped her tyraid on Jinx. She looked at the cops were firing at a guy on the roof. Something about him... He felt like Jinx did, like he was special was well. "Well now that you've started this..." she murmured to Jinx. Pulling out her lighter, she focused the flame to create a wall between the cops and the guy. "Come on! They'll be after me for interfering, don't ask me why I did!" She tugged on Jinxs' hand and started running, using her fire as a distraction.

She ran after Sy and replied,"It's a reflex, sorry Sy..." she looked at the other people, Another problem for my parents.... She said nothing else as she was dragged.

(( Don't you think that's pushing it a bit, Sezumie? It would take extreme delicate concentration and quite a bit of time to use electricity to change the path of a person's brain, let alone an entire crowd. One wrong move with electricity like that and the person is dead.))

Kaden drew a breath through his teeth as the heat from the flames reached him. He drew back, his water energy automatically condensing the water in the air to protect him from the searing heat. He moved to the back of the building and grabbed the drain pipe, sliding down it with practiced ease, jumping the last few feet. He took off in a run, slipping through alleys and side-streets to get ahead of the girls. He poked his head out of a gap between two buildings, only half a block ahead of them, and motioned to them with a hand, telling them to follow.

Ed and Ryu had stopped at a park nearby, watching the commotion and display of interesting power that he thought was both amazing and incredibly risky, but wasn't risky what he and Ed did every day? The amazing energy coming from all of these gifted people made him realize that he and Ed weren't the only ones with gifts, or if he did, he didn't pay much attention to himself. The piza box was smashed past recognition, so he tossed the crushed box into a waste basket after he grabbed two more sllices from it, and handed one to Ed.

"Interesting day." was all Ed said as she watched fire and lightning shoot across the scene, listened to the gunshots and screams, and saw the three that seemed to be the cause of it all running away. Then there were the people who just seemed to stand there like they didn't know how they were supposed to react, even though she saw them paniking a moment earlier. She took another bite from the smushed pizza that had been robbed of all of its toppings, and swung her legs back and forth.

"Well we know that at least some of the targets don't have hero complexes, namely mine." Roseline thought to herself.

Marcos had missed all of the commotion, but he was sure he would hear about it from one of the other agents, if he wasn't executed for losing his target. He wondered if the other girl had a tail like him, and then he thought that she probably did as he climbed into the black van that had pulled up to retrive him at his request. He would try again another time.

There's my wife now," agent colby lied as a sleek black car pulled into the driveway of the garage. The windows were heavily tinted, so he couldn't see who was driving, he waved good-bye to the girl,"It was nice chatting with you." he said as he hopped into the car.

The Tow truck had pulled around just as the man was about to pull out but it stopped to give him room to pull out. Lexi ran over and tripped up slamming into the car and leaving a huge dent. She landed flat on her face on the ground after and got up looking at the car. She whispered to herself "Shit" She stood up wondering if anybody saw that. 0Her boss wasn't paying attention so he hadn't noticed but she was sure the people in the car would. She yelled to them "You okay!?" She looked around for a heavy tool but there were none nearby so all in all she would be figured out unless she could speak her way out of this. Too bad for her she wasn't very good at acting.

Syrina looked up and noticed the man. "Ok, quick choice. Do we run the other way, or do we follow the guy who's butt I just saved?" she looked at Jinx, breathing heavy. "I'm pretty sure he's special like us. I'm going to follow him, you need to choose. I have no idea where this is going to lead to." Oh My God! What the hell am I doing?!?! Auntie's going to be so pissed with me, bad enough getting expelled, but I stopped the cops from shooting at everyone, and now I'm following the guy they were shooting at!!! What am I doing? Her brain yelled at her.

Jinx pulled at her shoes and they became roller skates,"Whenever you're ready Sy, I'll follow...as long as it's not in a dark alleyway...." Jinx shuddered slightly. She hated the chill of something scary in an alley.

Sy smiled, even though Jinx was much younger, she liked this girl. She trusted her. "If there is, I'll light the way." she nodded and took off running after the guy, using her long legs to the best of her ability. "Man! I hope I never meet your parents girl! They'd probably kill me for getting you into this!" She called back to Jinx. Looking forward she yellec to the guy. "Hey wait up!"

"They deal with this everyday!" Jinx called back. She skated after her, but involuntarily left sparks behind her.
"Wait up!"
