Haha aw, too bad. You live in halls? I'm good, didn't get much done on my dissertation since my brain usually turns off in the evening. So just been lazing around for the last couple of hours, mostly on Mene, killing time. How boring my life is. I can't wait to get out of the cast, and be able to actually do stuff. >.<

Oh, it was ok, just a bit irritated at the time of it happening. And I live at the dorms at my college, and there are different halls, hallways, - four halls with rooms in the building. :)
Oh, understandable, about the 'turning off brain'. Mine does the same time.
Oh, cast? What happened? If you don't mind me asking of course.

Cool. I wouldn't want to have a roommate though.. I like my privacy too much.
I fell down some stairs, didn't see the last step, fractured my ankle. Been in a cast for nearly six weeks now and can. not. wait. for. Tuesday. I'm going to the hospital then and they told me last time I'd get the cast off then. I'm afraid if I get too excited I'll somehow jinx it, I'm so scared they're going to tell me I have to keep it on longer. I swear I'll go berserk if they do. :|

Oh, it definately is something that takes some getting used to.
Oh, ouch!! My brother fractured his left ankle (I think it was -- he managed to sprain one and break the other at the same time) a few months ago and was only in a cast for about five weeks, but he keeps on re-messing it up, and mum have banned him from dirt bike riding till it fully heals.
And I know how that goes! I hope that they take it off. ^-^
I've only been in a cast once, and that was when I was 5 as I broke my leg jumping of a play structure at a friends house.

I can imagine that.
Ouch, that must've sucked for your brother.. I hurt my other ankle a bit too, but it was just a little swollen and sore for a few days, at least I could step on it fine. At first I thought the ankle I broke was just sprained, since I've never sprained or fractured anything in my life.. it happened just as I'd gotten to this party too, so I stayed the whole night, just sitting on the floor with a box and some pillows holding my foot up and some ice on it, freezing my ass off but trying to just enjoy the music and the company, completely sober.. xD And I somehow stayed till five or six in the morning, when my friend and I managed to get a few others to share a cab with to get home. Somehow stumbled up the stairs to my room and I was actually walking on the foot (or well, hobbling) for three days before I decided that it wasn't getting any better and my mum practically ordered me to go to the A&E. P: I wouldn't believe them when they told me I'd broken it, I was sure it was supposed to be more painful than that..
Aww it must suck to break your leg when you're five and so full of energy! Though having said that I usually act like I'm five myself... I wanna go out and plaaaaaaaay! :gonk:
Hmm, maybe we should keep this chat in the other thread so we're not talking in two places at once? It's a bit confusing. xD
