That's understandable. I went to a high school where we weren't aloud to have dances (incredibly strict private religious school. Terrible terrible place.) but my boyfriends were usually from other schools so they'd take me to their proms and dances and formals and such. So I guess all in all I can't really say anything to that note. They used to invite me to these things though, then just wanna stand off to the side or sit around doing nothing. Never did get that.

My school always held formal dinners though. I brought my girlfriend Megan to my senior formal and wore the closest thing I could get to a suit while still being within the formal gown dress requirement girls had and almost got expelled for it.

We don't have any of those kinds of schools around here even though its like the a bunch of crazy German Catholics
