Unfortunately, there are some things that I can't be middle ground about.

Like gay marriage. REALLY hard to be "kinda for" and "kinda against" gay marriage.

No, Sweets. That was an example. The point being that you can't really be in the middle on that particular issue other than "I don't care enough to have an opinion." Personally, I'm strictly for it.

I had to get the ring first, and now I'm working on part 2 of the plan, which involves a ring pop. Now its a matter of solidifying in my brain that THIS is what I want and having a proper reason to dress fancy for it.

She's always said to me that she wouldn't mind it at all if someone proposed to her with something cheap. Her tastes are so strange sometimes that she would rather pick out her own engagement ring after the initial proposal. So I got a very basic ring forged by a friend and the actual proposal is going to be with the ring pop. =]

Well, actually from what I remember the stone is from her ring, but the ring itself was too small but he had the stones taken out and set into a ring that he knew would work for me. ^_^
