I've just experienced so much in Highschool, I was a cheerleader, and was at the top of the food chain. Everything is so superficial and goddamn annoying. Out of school things don't matter much. I have a lot of friends from various friend groups, and I don't hesitate to joke about stereotypes or social groups with them, same as they don't hesitate to call me a Nazi (as I'm German) or a bitch when I'm being mean.

My single, greatest point here is that so long as we continue with social branding, we are just imposing segregation upon ourselves.

People may share different ideals...but come on. Do we have to label you as a prep? You as a goth? You as a geek?

I'm mostly broke and lazy, but when I put the effort in it's a goth/Japanese goth/Lolita/punk kinda combo. . . a little based on mood.

But seriously, I didn't bother with all that kind of crap when I was in school, and I sure as hell don't bother with it now.
Even when I was in school, those social stereotypes didn't exist. There were cliques, sure, and there were kids that were more popular than others, but the whole prep/emo/goth etc. thing didn't exist at all.

I would have to say that I uphold no labels. I don't think people should use labels...plus if I did...I'd have an awful lot of them...(prepare for the list of but a few that leap to mind...)pan-sexual, Celtic-Pagan who dresses Lolita (in all its forms), punk, goth, rocker, rockabilly, retro, Victorian, Edwardian, hippie, Japanese street, prep, sweet Lolita, Vintage, Mod, Modern, Flapper, Drag King, Formal...I think the picture is pretty clear. I'm everything and yet nothing at all. And I prefer my life without the use of labels to describe all that. So to sum up I'm original and unique lol. ^_^
