"Well, first things first. I need some nutmeg, ginger, paprica, and some warm water. And if you have any red or black candles that would be great too." said Dex as he got up. Dorian looked at him as though he were crazy. "I need that stuff so I can make a healing solution for Gwen's internal damage. If I'm correct, the blood she took from you is slowly killing her from the inside out. We need to either reverse or stop the effects immediately. I do believe I can make one, but if I can't I have a buddy that definately can." Dex smiled at the thought of calling up Pure. 'Its been a long time since I last saw him....'

((I may go to bed soon just to let you know Cerulean. My bf is supposed to be coming over for a bbq tomorrow so I want to be wide awake for him! :lol:

Okay, that's fine. ^^ I have lots of homework to do tomorrow, so I might not be on at all.))

Dorian turned away and ran to the kitchen to fetch said ingrediants. It didn't take him too long to find them since he helped his mother cook often. He made his way back to Dex with his arms full of spices. "Here. Luckily my mother loves licorice..." Dorian remarked as he handed Dex a plastic bag of red and black licorice and vials of nutmeg and ginger and the other spices. He also had with him an empty cup. "Hold on another second." He left the room with the cup and went to a room nearby and filled it with the warm water. He would have done so in the kitchen, but he didn't want it to spill since he had all the other ingrediants occupying is arms. He returned with the cup. "That's all, right?"

Dex nodded, "For now. Alright come with me. I may need some other things. You don't happen to own a cell, do you? Mine just happened to break as I was taking my casual flight last night. I need to get a new one, but I may need to phone a friend."

Gwen looked at the doorway as Dorian and Dex walked in. "Dex? Where's Dorian? I really don't feel good." She gasped and squeezed her eyes shut as a seizure rippled through her. Wrapping her arms around her stomach, she whimpered in agony. "It hurts so much! Please make it stop, please! It feels like a million needles are poking my stomach!" Tears formed in Gwen's eyes as she cried out from another seizure, "Please! Please help me! Make it stop, it hurts so bad!!"

Dex walked over and cupped her face with his free hand. "It's gonna be okay love. I'm gonna do everything I can to get you all fixed up okay? You just gotta hold on; don't go to sleep, okay? You can't go to sleep. Here, Dorian's right here. He'll keep you company while I get everything all set up okay?" As Dorian walked past Dex over to Gwen, Dex whispered, "You can't let her fall asleep or else she may never wake back up....."

"I don't have a cell, but there's a phone downstairs." Dorian's eyes widened after seeing Gwen in such pain. After Dex whispered in his ear he nodded. "Gwen?" He approached her and sat beside her making sure she didn't dose off.

Gwen whimpered again, but turned to look at Dorian. "I'm sorry Dorian. Maria was right, she's been right the entire time. Now your mom is gone, you've got to worry about a vampire trying to kill you, and on top of it all, you've now got to worry about me." She cringed as a sharp pain shot from her stomach, out. "I'm really sorry Dorian...."
Gwen's eyes flickered closed as she fought sleep. "I'm so tired...."

Dex set up the candles around himself in a octagon shape, then took out a pinch of nutmeg and paprica and dropped it into the center of the circle. Then, very carefully, he took the ginger and sprinkled it into the cup of warm water, then put the cup on top of the nutmeg and paprica. "Dorian, come here a moment." Dorian came over and before her even knew what was happening, Dex cut the palm of his hand, letting a drop of blood fall into the cup. "Sorry, but I needed that to act as a counter-actant. Kinda like a snake bite vaccine, ya know?"

Dex turned back to the cup and made some motions as if pulling something out of the cup. Then, as if the cup didn't have a bottom, the nutmeg and paprica flowed through the bottom of the cup and through the rest of the mixture inside, turning it a silvery blue. Dex took out a small phial and filled it with the remedy.
"Hopefully, this'll do the trick." he said as he walked over to Gwen. Dex sat down on the edge of the bed and brushed a strand of Gwen's hair off her forehead. "Gwen, love, take this remedy. It'll make you feel better, okay? Come on Gwen, you can't go to sleep yet. Take the remedy then you can take a nap."

"It's okay, it isn't your fault... Hell, you didn't keep it a secret from me like everyone else." He let out a small chuckle as the words escaped his mouth. He saw her yawn, and fighting back a yawn himself, he told her again and again."You can't sleep yet, Gwen. Just hold on a while longer..."He was summoned by Dex, and after he reached his side, Dex cut open his palm with a blade. He winced and shot his arm back and gave Dex a confused and betrayed look. After explanation Dorian nodded and forgave him, then he followed Dex back to Gwen when the solution was finished.

By now Zeddock had become quite impatient. He stood up from his throne and paced back and forth, ordering a few minions to spy on Dorian. They came back after long and explained the plan as well as they could. So they are planning to heal up and make me wait longer... how sad. He thought, a little disappointed, but amused all the same. Perhaps it's better I fight them when they are at their full capacities. He let out a laugh at his foolish, evil thoughts. Dumb as it may be, he thought it sounded like good fun.

((Well it seems Dorian's blood was killing Gwen, but Dex knew a potion to make it better so he and Dorian made it and had Gwen drink it. Meanwhile, Zeddock has captured Dorian's mother and is holding her hostage so he can kill Dorian when he tries to save her.))

Gwen took the solution and drank it quickly, cringing at the taste. "Can I...sleep now? I...I'm so tired...."

Dex sighed, "Of course. Dorian, why don't we go back down to the kitchen? I have some things I need to tell you."
Dex walked down the stairs with Dorian and sat back down in the window seat where he was before. "Alright, you asked how we can destroy Zeddock, correct? Well I hope you're prepared cause there's no nice way of telling you the answer. The only way to kill Zeddock would be to sacrifice someone you care about. Whether it be a friend or a family member, the only way it's gonna happen is if someone close to you dies. I know this because I've seen it. I myself am a Prophet. I can get premonitions at moments when I really don't want them and also at times when I need them. It's a power I was born with and I can't control no matter how hard I may try.
"But here's the thing. Only you can kill Zeddock because you're a Seeker. I can't touch him, but you can. And let me tell you something interesting: Zeddock feeds off people's fear. Not only is he a Seeker, he's also a Reaper. That's where I come in. Reapers are the targets of all Prophets. We are taught to kill and release the souls entrapped within them. This is customary for us. However, with Zeddock being a Seeker....well, you can only imagine how far I would get. This is why as soon as you kill him, I have to release the souls he's fed on. Get it?"

Gwen blinked a couple times as she stared up at the ceiling. She was tired, but she didn't dare fall asleep right now. Something....no, someone was watching her from the window. 'I know you're there Zeddock. What do you want? Can't you see I'm tired and want to go to sleep? I can't do that with you watching me....Why are you watching me anyway?'

((@Cerulean- I thought it would put a twist to the story if Zeddock tried to kidnapp Gwen because she's the next one close to Dorian and Dex is beginning to fall in love with her. Kinda like a repeat with what happened with him and Katie, ya know? What do you think?))

Dorian stared at Dex strangely, he didn't like what he was hearing, but that's how he knew it was the truth. "Sacrifice... someone close to me.." He continued to listen, making more strange faces as the story progressed. He was reduced to nodding slowly after his face couldn't contort any further. He let out a long sigh. "This is all very complicated..." He thought back to sacrificing, the only people close to him were his mother and... "GWEN!" Dex shot a confused look at Dorian. "We should check on Gwen!"

Zeddock smirked and shifted back into his humanoid state, squatting on a nearby tree branch. "Come on, Gwen. You know exactly why I'm here." His smile grew and he leaned closer to the window with his eyes fixed on her. "Now walk over to this window and let me take you back to my place." Zeddock winked and laughed as he lured her to him against her will. "Adda girl, now let's go somewhere fun, shall we?" He jumped off of the tree and ran back to his lair, Gwen falling into a trance-like sleep in his arms.

Dex jumped slightly at Dorians sudden outburst, but immediately scanned the house just to make sure she was still there. He didn't think she'd have gone anywhere on her own....not in the condition she was in. "She's....not there...." Dex's voice dimmed to such a quiet whisper that Dorian could barely hear him. "She's gone. She...she....left? No...she was...taken...."
Dex's eyes narrowed now to the point where they were thin lines, barely thicker then a hair. His face changed, turning darker and his teeth extending and becoming as sharp as broken glass. He was pissed!!!
He turned to Dorian who seemed to almost flinch away from Dex's gaze. "Zeddock took Gwen....He came in here and just TOOK her!!!"
He hissed making Dorian jump in his seat. Dex, however, didn't care if he scared Dorian at the moment. He was done tolerating Zeddock and how he would torchure him through who he loved and cared for. This was the last time; the one time too many! Dex was done!
"We're leaving NOW!!!" hissed Dex as he got up and made for the door. He stopped and turned to Dorian, "I'm gonna kill him, Dorian, I swear it. If he's done ANYTHING to Gwen, if he's even so much as looked at her wrong, I'm gonna rip his throat out!! This time, he'll be the one who's begging for mercy!! I'm gonna make him wish he never set eyes on Gwen in his entire pathetic life!!!!"

Dorian was a bit shocked at how angry Dex had become; Dorian had no idea how important Gwen was to him. He wasn't afraid of Dex, though, he understood that most of - if not all - his anger was directed towards Zeddock. Though he was determined to save his friend and only surviving family, he had no idea what to do. "But wait! I still don't know what I have to do to kill his seeker half!" Dex was already on his way out and Dorian was forced to run after him. There was no way he could stop him, and even though he needed help understanding himself he wasn't going to try.

"This is much more fun, now isn't it?" Zeddock grinned, binding Gwen to a pillar in the main hall of his mansion. Dorian's mother was tied to the one opposite and she just stared at the both of them as Zeddock finished with Gwen. "Now don't move, okay? We don't want the Ds to come all this way for naught!" He spoke in a sing-songy sort of way, childish, and for a man of his age and status psychotic, too.
Walking back to the throne he had placed at the end of the hall he was interrupted by a minion. "Sire, it seems our guests are arriving early." The vampire wasn't sure if this is good news or bad, so to be safe he stated it in a serious manner to Zeddock. Zeddock only laughed in retaliation. "Perfect! This will be even easier than expected! I can kill Dorian off, first, then with no seeker on their side, Dex is sure to fail."

Dex stopped and turned to Dorian who nearly crashed into him. "We're not killing Zeddock tonight. You're not ready to even try flicking him. He'd destroy you, but we have to get your mother and Gwen out of there. Especially Gwen....If we don't get her out tonight...." Dex made a fist and gritted his teeth, "Zeddock is a pervert. If no one came to entertain him tonight with a fight, he'd take it to the next level and use Gwen as entertainment. She's an easy target for him and she's pretty; he would even hesitate to do something hastey. He'd do it just to piss me off if it weren't for his own pleasure......"

Maria was already waiting outside for Dex and Dorian to come out. So, she went up to them while they were talking, even though she was not aware of Gwens absent, until after she left. "Hey, you two. What are you going to do. I mean i used to be Zeddocks helper. what can i do to help? I know you two don't know me much but this girl seems pretty important to you."

Dex narrowed his eyes and turned to Maria, "You have no clue....." He sighed and turned away from both Dorian and Maria. "Here's the plan. Dorian and Maria, you guys need to take care of Dorian's mum and Gwen. No matter what, once you have the both of them free, you get out of there!! Even if I'm not there, get out!" Dex stopped and turned back to the both of them, "As for myself, I'm going to go teach Zeddock some discipline. Once I've gotten in that room, I don't care what happens, you get Gwen and Mrs. Molko free and get out!! Don't worry about me, I'll catch up, but you don't have any time to waste! Got it!?"

Maria let out a little chuckle and spoke," Boy, did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?." Then her voice became a little more serious," I'll help you but you need to watch how you talk to people, You got that?!" Maria took Dorian's hand and walked toward her red Koenigsegg CCR, one of the fastest cars in the world, and let Dorian sit down in it. Then before she got in, she yelled " We'll be back soon."
Now Maria was in the Koenigsegg, put her seat belt on (even though it was not needed), and started to drive off. " Dorian do you like Gwen? Or do you just care for her?"

Dex snorted in contempt. How dare some chick who doesn't even know him tell him what to do!!! 'I am soo not in the mood today!' thought Dex to himself as a pair of feathery black angel wings flurrled out behind him.
He flew quickly through the city, heading for the outskirts where nobody went anymore. There. The castle...well, mansion was more like. It still looked the same as Dex remembered it: Eerie, dark and demeaning.
'If anything's happened to Gwen....I don't think I'll ever forgive myself. I should have been watching. I should've never left her alone in the first place....' thought Dex miserably. He entered to mansion and made straight for the main hall. That's where Zeddock could always be found when he had just gotten done kiddnapping; he'd useually wait there for their rescuer. "Zeddock!!!! How DARE you take Gwen!!! You have no right going around taking people!! Why do you seem so stuck on making my life a living hell?!?! What the HELL have I ever done to you?!?!?!?!"

Dorian blushed. "I-uh... Well I care for her - she is my friend..." He tried as hard as he could to avoid actually answering the question. He wasn't sure, himself, if he had feelings for her. Obviously he had a crush on her, but he wasn't sure if that would ever turn into something big. "W-what is with you and Dex? You two don't seem to get along very well," He questioned, hoping to change the subject.

Zeddock was waiting just where Dex expected him. After Dex burst through the door, a smile wiped across Zed's face. "Just look at how mad you are! It's so adorable!" He teased. "I took Gwen to make you angry. I can take whoever I want, whenever I want, no one is powerful enough to stop me.... As for why I torture you so much... Well, when you betrayed me I swore I wouldn't let you off easy. Don't you remember?" Zeddock stood and made his way to Gwen who was still tied to a pillar. He grabbed her by the jaw and licked up the side of her cheek just to spite Dex. "Besides, I just love it when you're angry."

Dex hissed loudly and gritted his teeth. There was no way he was leaving without making some kind of mark on Zeddock's body now! "Get away from her now Zeddock. I swear if you even think about doing something to her, I will make you feel a world of pain. You have not the slightest clue. If you think I look mad now, you've yet to see me furious." growled Dex. His eyes flashed a vivid fuchsia, "Let me tell you something. You are the most mentally disturbed person I have ever met in my entire life, and I've met a lot of people. How can you do things like this? Bouncing from one girl to the next....It's wrong...."

Maria picked up the speed."Well, i think you have a crush on her and the Dex dude- he just has anger issues. The problem between us is that he underestimates me and thinks he can get away with being rude," Maria takes a sharp turn,"Plus he's just crazy about Gwen. Which i do not care much for. they barely know each other and now they are all of a sudden in love?" Maria goes even faster and takes more sharp turns. "I thought i was in love once, but the man i cared for...." she paused,"Well, let's just leave it at, he did not care. His name was Pure, i only met him once and he didn't care for me much. But he did for Gwen." Now they were in front of the mansion, " Is there anything you would like to say before we go on?"

Dex narrowed his eyes as he waited for Zed to respond. Now he was now only pissed off at Zeddock, he was also now irrateted with Maria. It hadn't been hard to pick up on little bits and pieces of their conversation. 'I....I never said I was in love with her! Not to you anyway! And.....she never said she was in love with me, so I don't know what you're complaining about! He paused and bit his lip lightly. 'And I don't mean to be rude....I'm just like that. I've always been like that. I've always been very wary of people and I guess being like that was the best way to keep people from trying to get to know me. Sorry, but it's not like I've been being an ass on purpose.....'

Maria laughed because she knew that Dex, was listening in on their conversation. 'yeah i know you weren't trying to be' she telepathed to DEx
