No matter what i do i cant sleep at night. Even if i have been awake for twenty hours, and am exhausted. I just cant fall asleep at night. and if i do manage to fall asleep i wake up around 1 or 2 am and cant fall back asleep.
But I have no problem at all Sleeping during the day. Its really weird.
at night every sound and light bothers me while im trying to sleep. but during the day the sun can be there, and loud noises going on and i can just fall right asleep.
Ive tried staying up like 20 hours so i could go to bed early and sleep at night. but i end up just staying awake for 30 because i cant fall asleep till around 6 am.
I cant take sleeping pills because even a 1/4 dose puts me to sleep for about 24 hours.
Whats wrong with me? how do i fix it? im so tired of being tired

I just took 4 Advil PMs and nothing's changed :( I'm in the SAME boat as you, and EVERYTHING you just described, I feel the same way!!
I wish I could offer advice, but I can't since I have yet to figure it out myself. Just know you're not alone, and I'm really glad you posted something about it since it might help me, too.

You probably have an overactive mind huh?
Exercise- like at least a 30 minute walk or more- easily puts me out at night.
A warm warm bath before bed helps too.

Hmm that's what I would suggest since I'm sorta the same, or just make yourself more tired out during the day basically.
And I've had help with some tips such as saying positive stuff like, "Oh I can sleep." You don't have to sleep exactly 8 hours. Also try to breath with your stomach. That's helps put me to bed in like hmm 30 to and hour of sleep. I also leave my tv on and light too.
Just a really bad case of insomnia heh ;=;''

I would work out or find things to help you relax. I usually watch drawing videos every night on youtube to help relax me and make me fall asleep. Play video games, read a book, or listen to calming music. Those always work for me when I can't sleep.

lol I wonder what would happen to you if you read something so confusing to you, persistently, that your brain started spinning and you couldn't think the normal thoughts : p Was just a thought lol xD I'm not sure if it will help but if you haven't tried it you can. When I get really confused and I'm physically tired then it helps make me mentally tired too so idk that might work for something.
