"It's not getting in the way--it's fine," Kiwi assured her, throwing his hands up in front of his face to block the splashing water. "Bleh."

Deckle watched the entire scene contently. "Pfft. I can see this being a scene in a weird, late-night sitcom..."

"Yup yup, but it would be a kick ass sitcom!" Gavin snickered, amused and full of mischief as usual. Soon, he began singing '99 bottles of beer on the wall', trying not to laugh as Kiwi looked more and more twitchy and irritated with the song. he seemed to be losing his cool.

Meriel smiled, glad Kiwi was ok with it all. As Gavin sang, she hummed along, eventually repeating and mimicking the words like a parrot, despite not knowing what they were singing about.

Kiwi covered his ears, looking like he was going to lose his temper and just leave them all there. "Stop it, please..." He directed this, obviously, at Gavin. "My head is killing me..."

Deckle grinned. "It would be a great sitcom..." She watched, with both amusement and concern, as Kiwi held his head.

"Oh fine fine. I got it stuck into your girlfriend's head already, so my mission is accomplished." Gavin grinned, hugging Deckle to him.

Meriel patted Kiwi's head, a look of concern on her face. Meriel is sorry Kiwi has a hurting head."

Deckle half-cuddled with Gavin, a wry grin on her face.

Kiwi rubbed his temples for a moment and then lowered his hands, exhaling heavily. "It's okay. I'm fine."

Gavin decided to finally give his friend a break. Besides, cuddling with Deckle was much more fun!.

Smiling up at Kiwi, Meriel patted his head and stroked his soft hair a bit longer, not wanting to stop. "Meriel hopes so. Kiwi shouldn't feel pain at all."

Deckle seemed happy to cuddle. She seemed to be happy just being close to someone she liked. For her, talking was optional unless there was something interesting to talk about.

Kiwi went a bit red when she began to pet him, but brushed it off quickly, smiling. "That's a nice thought...you shouldn't feel pain, either."

Gavin nuzzled the female in his embrace, resting his chin on her head as he held Deckle close, eyes half closed in contentment.

Seeing the other two acting cuddly, Meriel stopped petting Kiwi and leaned on his shoulder instead, hoping he wouldn't mind. "Thank you Kiwi." she murmured, smiling in delight.

Deckle seemed to notice that Meriel was copying the two of them. A mischievous smirk curled her features and she nudged Gavin a bit, hoping to attract his attention to that fact. It could be interesting...playing that to their advantage.

Kiwi didn't seem to notice Deckle's plotting. He rested his head on top of Meriel's, contently. "No problem..."

Feeling the nudge, Gavin turned to the dark-haired beauty and opened his mouth to ask what it was she was wishing for, until he caught sight of her eyes. Looking in the direction her gaze was, realization hit him, and he turned to her with a cheshire cat grin. Oh this would be good. He'd let her start this time so Kiwi wouldn't catch on too quick. Kiwi was used to Gavin plotting.

Smiling contentedly, Meriel blinked, watching the other two in facination as she wondered what would happen. In the mean time, she'd snuggle beside Kiwi some more.

Deckle glanced at Meriel and smiled, somewhat encouragingly. She wouldn't be too mean, to start...after all, anything could incite a kiss or inappropriate touch. She leaned in and kissed Gavin on the cheek, subtly watching Meriel out of the corner of her eye.

Kiwi seemed oblivious to their plotting. He simply relaxed, content with the contact between them.

Gavin tried not to grin too much, smiling at the kiss before cupping Deckle's chin with his fingertip, tilting her to meet his smouldering gaze.

Meriel watched in curiousity and rapt attention, interested in the two. Turning to Kiwi, she suddenly felt her face grow slightly warm. Inwardly trying to tell herself not to worry about such things, the female focused on her job at hand. Leaning close, she planted a gentle, somewhat shy and shaky kiss on the blonde's cheek.

Deckle was nearly beaming with success--her plan had worked quite beautifully...now...to see Kiwi's reaction...

Kiwi nearly jumped out of his skin. He went bright red, but it didn't look like he was upset...more like he was embarrassed, yet pleased and didn't know what to say or do. Quite atypical for a flirt like him...

Never one to be outdone, Gavin decided to be evil and one up the ante. Pulling Deckle close, he whispered what she should do as he helped position her. Gesturing that the ebony-haired beauty place her arms around his shoulders and lean in close, touching her chest to Gavin's own as he kissed her cheek like she had done for him.

Mimicking once more, Meriel decided to follow suit. Kiwi didn't seem upset, and he was turning a cute shade of red. Besides, Deckle and Gavin looked like they were having a lot of fun. Leaning closer, she placed her body against Kiwi's, kissing his cheek once more. "Kii!"

Deckle grinned and happily did so, watching Kiwi out of the corner of her eye.

Kiwi coughed, shooting a glare at both Gavin and Deckle. He saw what they were doing. "Um...thank you...?"

Gavin tried to hide a grin, with no sucess at all. Winking at his buddy, he smiled innocent like. "What? You seem to be glaring at me again...Deckle cutie....he's being meanie again. I need a hug!" he pouted, huggling close to the female before him. "You're welcome!" Gavin cheered in a sing song voice, smirking.

Meriel blinked, looking between Kiwi and the other two. With a shrug of not understanding them, she curled up beside Kiwi, beaming happily.

Deckle giggled, quite amused, and rested her head against his shoulder, comfortably.

Kiwi grumbled under his breath, irritated, but didn't take that irritation out on Meriel--instead, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

Gavin winked at Deckle and gave a thumbs up to Kiwi, closing his eyes and raising a hand to prepare for what he was sure was an immenent splashing in the face.

Meriel liked the attention she was getting, and made a mental note to repeat some of the new gestures she learned with Kiwi again some other time soon. A soft humming chirp of content escaped her, the female leaning against his shoulders.

Deckle also covered her face, quickly, though she was snickering under her protective arm.

Kiwi did indeed splash them. "You guys have a funky sense of humor..." He kept his arm around Meriel.

"I'm hit! I'm hit!" cried Gavin dramatically, flailing a bit, though making sure not to hit Deckle.


Meriel smiled, scooting close, when she looked at the bow on her hand. Oh yeah. This was the hand she had hurt when Kiwi found her, and she had yet to remove the bandage, not knowing she was able to take it off.

Deckle snickered. "Oh dear! Whatever am I going to do with you? Are you insisting that we play doctor?"

Kiwi noticed her hand and smiled. "If it feels better, you can take the bandage off. If it still hurts, you should keep it on.

Gavin beamed at the suggestion, looking for all the world like an excited, thrilled boy who was offered the praise and the treat of his dreams. "I'd like that. Perhaps you may need to...Meanie Kiwi hurt me!" he said dramatically, pouting cutely.

Meriel looked at her hand, shaking her head. "Meriel feels fine Kiwi....Can Kiwi help undo it?"

Deckle chuckled, then leaned in a bit more. "Where does it hurt?" Her voice was rather low and sultry.

Kiwi smiled and took her hand, gingerly. He began to gently untie the bandage.

"Well..before that, I bit my lip in surprise...will you kiss it better?" inquired the male, looking at Deckle cutely as a shiver went down his spine at her sexy voice.

Once her hand was free, Meriel smiled, looking at her hand, only a small bruise left behind now and a tiny pinprick of a dot where the wound was practically closed up. "Thank you Kiwi!" she chimed happily, hugging her nice human.

Deckle nudged Gavin and then waited until Meriel was half-paying attention to them and half-paying attention to Kiwi. Only then did she lean forward and kiss him.

Kiwi hugged her back, contently. "You're welcome...I'm just glad it feels better."
