Kiwi patted Meriel on the head. "This is my cousin, from Russia. She doesn't know a lot of English, so she's kinda helpless on her own. I've been helping her around. Sorry if I'm late."

He glances at Meriel. "I've got to work for a while, now. Why don't you go and buy a snack from the dining hall machines, the big rectangles with little colorful bags in them, and tour the ship?" He dug in his pocket and handed her a one-dollar bill. "Put this in the slot near the middle of the machine. There should be something that looks like it near the slot on the machine. Put this in there in the direction it says and pick a snack."

He wanted to make sure Meriel enjoyed herself while he worked and found her way around the ship...

Looking oddly smug and pleased, the twins tried to not look impatient.

"Yes. Okay." Meriel said, taking the money and wandering off with it, hiding her dissappointment in having her nice human taken away for a extended time period once more.

"Well, now that she'd out of our hair, we should go." the twi nearly dragged poor Kiwi to the sunbathing areas, going to their private reservations. As they reached the deck chairs, they began to take off the tops of their bikini's.

Meriel finally found a machine and decided to pick a chocolate bar for her treat. Smiling as the endorphines in the tasty item began to travel through her system, the female walked along in search of the room.

Kiwi seemed amused, but he didn't stare as much as one might have thought he would. He instead waited for them to settle themselves, rather patiently.

The two lay down to subathe European style as it was often called, frowning slightly when they didn't get a reaction.
Taking out a botthe of tanning oil, one of the two held it to Kiwi. "Would you rub this on for us?" Her sister chucked her ciggarette over the deck and called for a drink and a fan.

As she finished the chocolate, Meriel wondered what to do with the wrapper when she watched someone throw it into a trash bin. Following the example, she smiled as she mimicked the other humans. She was still lost....

Kiwi kept his smile on his face and took the bottle.

"Sure." He opened it up and did as instructed for both of them, barely batting an eyelash. He wondered idly if Meriel was lost...

The girls were impressed, but frustrated and angry that he wasn't drooling over them. As the young man rubbed their skin with the oil, one of them rolled over on her back so he could see her top half. Bare. Grinning triumphantly, the twin believed she had them.

Kiwi couldn't help grinning--he never really took overly-flirty girls seriously and couldn't help being amused by their actions. He continued to rub the oil on them both. He thought about all sorts of things to distract himself from the current situation and decided to wonder what Gavin was doing...

Gavin meanwhile, watched from the side as Deckle worked on the machines and such. He waited patiently for her to get off her shift so he could talk. Somehow or another, he had a small bundle of flowers for her. Gavin had the strange habit and ability to practicallyy pull things out of nowhere and find what he wants. Anywhere. No one knew how or where he managed to always find what he wanted or needed, but he did.

The twins were almost..angry that he wasn't buying into their efforts. One of the girls rtook his hand and insisted he rub oil on her chest. "I don't want to burn there either!"

Meriel wandered about, looking at all sorts of things on the ship, but never once finding Kiwi's room.

Deckle was indeed in a haz-mat-ish suit. A big, burly man walked over to her after a moment, obviously to take over for her as her shift ended. She headed out into the room where Gavin was, noticing him at once. She popped the head off her suit.

"Well, hey there. Do I look like a weird astronaut in this, or don't I?" She grinned, slipping out of the suit. She had a plain pair of ripped black jeans and a black tank top on under the suit.

Kiwi chuckled and obliged her. "My apologies. I'm a polite man. I didn't want to do something so rash without hearing your verbal consent..." He sounded sincere on that...

Gavin grinned. "An astronaut yes, but a damn good looking one for sure." Holding out the flowers out to her, he smiled, enjoying himself allready. "Got you these, though they ain't pretty enough for a classy lady like yourself, I guess they'll have to do." he remarked.

The girl smiled, sighing in content as she tried to push closer. Seeing her sister get touched, the other girl motioned for Kiwi. "Don't forget me."

Meriel began to feel upset that she couldn't find the room, looking like a lost puppy. It didn't help matters much that she couldn't read. "Kiiiiii...." she whined softly, looking around for Kiwi.

Deckle accepted the flowers contently, looking at them from all angles. "Nonsense--they're lovely."

Not wanting to deal with too much drama, Kiwi obliged both twins, not making any move on his own.

"I'm glad you think so, but you still kick their ass in that department." Gavin falttered her with a grin, brushing his hair out of his face.

The twins seemed pleased, until one of them crooked her finger and spoke to Kiwi. "So love, fancy a tumble?" she requested with a wink.
((maybe i'm overdoing it, but I sadly have met peers almost this bad in real life....ugh!))

Meriel became more and more restless and distressed. Now she couldn't even find the deck where she had run into Kiwi earlier before he left.

"Ah, how charming," she hummed, eyeing the flowers some more. She seemed happy to see him--working tired her out.

Kiwi looked a bit amused. "You sure you wanna request that so openly of me? You don't even know me that well. I could be some sadistic madman that would slit your throats if I got you alone somewhere..." He sounded half-teasing and half-serious.

"I'm sure you aren't, so, anyways, whaddya say?" the girl asked, smiling and giving him a wink. Propping herself up to make herself sit in a model-worthy pose, she tried to look as alluring as possible. The sister was back with her drugs, wanting to get high.

Gavin smiled before noticing she still looked like an astronaut. "Want help undoing the hazzy suit?" he offered with a gentle smile, hoping she wouldn't get pissed at him for this. He loved to mess with people, the reactions gave him amusement.

Kiwi raised an eyebrow. "And are you sure about that?" His voice sounded...quite dangerous. Even though he was faking it. He was hoping he'd be able to scare them off somehow. Normally, he'd be enthralled, but he couldn't share his room with the two of them, seeing as he had a new...roommate, of sorts. And the deck certainly wasn't a good place for that behavior. His boss already hated him.

Deckle chuckled. "Go for it."

"What's the matter? you scared?" the girl asked coyly, trying to look seductive. So far, no one seemed to notice, but then aain, that was why they chose a private sunbathing area.

Gavin smiled, nodding as he went behind Deckle and helped undo the zippers and velcro straps, releasing her from the oversized space-style suit. "There you go my lady."

Meriel was wandering around, not realizing where she was going. Walking into a group of three snooty, pompous boys, she blinked and felt her distress increase. They looked mad, ready to shout at her.

Kiwi chuckled. "Nah, I'm not scared. But I do have a few issues. The boss here hates my guts and if he catches me out here doing something inappropriate...jail cell for me. And I'm keeping my cousin in my room, so it's off-limits, as well."

Deckle stepped out of the suit thankfully. "All right! I hate that thing. Gets hot in there."

"That's it? Go tell your cousin to stay away a while or get her own room. Or come to my room.." She tried harder, the shameless female inwardly delighting that he wasn't a blushing, nervous boy.

Gavin nodded, a look of sympathy on his face. "I'd imagine so. Doesn't look comfortable or insulated at all. So, would you like to rela x with me?"

Meriel meanwhile had fallen on her rear, looking nervously up at the three males as they shouted and scolded her. "What's your problem? Apologize!" "I..I do not understand..." she repeated.

Kiwi scratched his head somewhat sheepishly, and then he caught sight of a scene around the other side of the deck. He sighed at the three snooty males that were yelling, and even more so, at Meriel. "That sounds like a plan. But gimme a moment." He nodded over at the boys, who were acting like idiots. "Let me get them away from my cousin first."

He strolled over around the other side of the deck, wiping his hands on his pants slightly, and approached the men without hesitation from behind. He hovered directly in-between them, out of sight until he spoke. "If you want to keep your balls, you'll back off."

His voice sounded positively nasty, filled with venom. It was almost like hearing a snake hiss.

Deckle grinned. "Sure."

"Well then, shall we go on a walk?" Gavin asked, offering his arm to Deckle , smile on his face.

The girl smiled triumphantly, sighing as she waved him away. "Very well, hurry up please luv."

As soon as they heard his voice, the boys turned to face Kiwi. "You wanna start something busboy? Shove off, we're teaching her some manners." drawled the oldest of the three. The middle one looked ready to grab her by the arm and shake the girl.

Meriel looked relieved as soon as she saw Kiwi. Pushing past them, she knocked one of them over again as she ran to Kiwi.
"Hey, watch it you little bitch! Respect your betters!"

Gavin seemed to notice a commotion as he walked with Deckle, and curiousity was too tempting.

Deckle also noticed the commotion, and she snorted. "I'd like to teach them some manners, by taking a big ol' pair of gardening shears to their manly bits. If they even have them to begin with. I can't stand it when men act that way towards women."

Kiwi shifted Meriel behind him and raised an eyebrow. "You're the ones that need to learn some manners. Pick on someone your own size."

Gavin snickered, nodding sagely. "I'd hate to be on your bad side, but yes, they probably have no balls. Wanna mess wit them?" the young man asked with a devious grin in place, cracking his knuckles.

"You should butt out and get back to mopping the floors or something you good for nothing busboy. You hold no authority here." sneered the youngest of the three as the middle one reached for Meriel.

Meriel may be innoccent by human standards, but living in the wild taught her to survive. And as such, her fight or flight instincts took over. So she sunk her sharp, pointy teeth into the male's hand, making him jump back.

"You bitch! You bit me...she actually bit me!"

"Yo, what's the party for gang? Oh, I see you got to your girlfriend before they did Kiwi." Gavin butted in with a casual half smile, delighting in irritating people, and pissing them off.

Deckle watched, looking quite amused. She was waiting for the perfect time to butt in.

Kiwi chuckled. "What do you mean, girlfriend? She's my cousin!" His tone told Gavin that he was lying on purpose, perhaps in case the twins overheard. "Apparently, these pansies are so weak they can barely even take on a girl. How sad is that?"

"Pretty pathetic man, and why say she's your cousin? We all know she's your little novia, no need to hide her." Gavin continued to grin. He cared not that this would piss off people even more, it was what he was good at, and it was fun. Gavin didn't know when to stop, he would always butt in. Always.

The druggie twin overheard Gavin and nudged her sister. "Too bad, he's taken."
"Hmph, not happily obviously, course, can't blame him for wanting me, I'll have him yet. Even if she is his girlfriend, I'll make him forget all about her."

Meriel stepped behind Kiwi, watching the boys with uncertainty. Hearing the term 'girlfriend,' she became curious. "Girl.....friend?" She knew girl, and she knew friend, but nowhere in the lesson did it mention the two words together.

"We'll show you who's a pansy!" the oldest chimed in, laring and pulling out a switchblade, intent on seeing fear and gaining the control he loved.

Deckle stared at the switchblade, raising an eyebrow.

"Pretty pathetic butter knife you've got there," she drawled, raising her pantleg up a bit. Inside was a small strap...and a rather intimidating-looking pistol, which she whipped out and tossed around in her hands smugly. "Try me, boys."

Kiwi patted Meriel's head, not seeming unnerved by the switchblade at all. "I'll explain later, all right?"
