A moan filled the air, Ryu's legs finally refusing to support him. He simply sagged against Virgil. The human's knuckles were white from the male's grip, and his body continued to tremble. His eyes fluttered closed from the pleasure running through his veins. His mind was racing, however, even though Ryu felt strangely dizzy.

He opened his mouth, though no sound came out. The cabin boy licked his lips, trying again, "I-if I do that, what will happen to me? I'll have to live in the sea? Could I see my family? What do you mean, taken as yours? Will I have to...to serve you? Like that?" He stopped talking for a moment, the dizziness taking over his body.

You will serve me as I see fit. You will forever be my brother's playmate and my toy. You will be good to us both or you shall be eaten on sight. You would live in the sea with us, and you could see your family from afar. To them, you would be dead, unless you want to walk the earth as I do, a fish able to breathe air.

He sucked a bit more intently, grinding more.

Would you be willing to sacrifice your life for the lives of your shipmates? Or would you like everyone, including you, to die? That is the question you need to answer. And if you pic your shipmates...you need to find me a decent dinner.

The male was lost in thought, no longer noting the mews that crawled from him, and he didn't notice as his body started to move in time with the other male. He wanted to live, even if that was selfish and he wasn't to do this for his shipmates. But, how could he sacrifice someone as his meal? And what did Virgil mean, that he'd be able to walk the Earth. He was starting to feel dangerously dizzy, his vision fading in and out.

Ryu began to panic, whimpers alternating with his cries of pleasure. He felt so weak. And, the male was scared. He nodded, although it was awkward with the male at his neck. "I-I don't want to die..." Ryu finally choked out, starting to let small pants through his mouth. "P-please...feel so weak...please..."

I'm not taking your blood anymore. You see, we're at a bit of a standstill. I...bit a little too hard. If I move my mouth away, you will bleed to death. But...if we hurry and have sex like this, right now....then we will be able to turn you and the wound will heal.

And he wasn't lying; he meant every word and each and every thing he said was the upmost truth. He was starting to like the idea of having someone with him to have and to be had by. Maybe a mate, in the long-run.

The reply the male gave was simple, his hands groped lower, though they kept curling in male's shirt and hesitating. When he finally reached Virgil's pants, Ryu shoved them off roughly. He was clearly acting purely to save his own skin and take care of the lust burning his body. He moaned again, his hands shaking badly enough to keep him from removing his own pants.

(I can't remember, some people at time like this, we go to email till we've finished this part...Are you one of them, or do you just time skip...I dunno, too many rps, ahhh!)

(( Well...Vigil was wearing those robes, and the robes become his fins when in water. So...his clothes and feet will become fins. :3 ))

As the change was taking place, Ryu felt some discomfort, although strangely enough no pain. It wasn't until Ryu lifted his hand to his neck that he felt the gills, opening and closing already. He crawled away from Vigil, pressing back against another wooden wall. A tiny whimper came from the male, before he spoke quickly. "Vigil, Vigil! How long will I stay like this?!" His voice was touched with panic, his eyes wide next to the newly sported dark green fins along his head.

"For the rest of your life..." He offered, "I've lived for...two hundred and fifty centuries." He smiled, "So you'll be around for a long time." He packed himself away again, in his robe, which was somehow dry. It wasn't comfortable without it. "Unless you do something stupid."

The male gaped at Vigil, before he lowered his gaze and closed his mouth. He's agreed to this. But still...He didn't want it. He clenched his fists, standing and pulling his pants back up. He had no words, unsure of how he was to behave, how to act. Vigil had told him he was a king, although Ryu still wasn't sure of what. The boy could barely wade in water. How was he supposed to swim? He didn't know any of these things.

He didn't ask any of this, instead lifting his gaze to finally stare at the other male. His body still trembled slightly when he finally opened his mouth to ask, "What now?"

He rememebered Vigil telling him he'd need to supply the male with a meal. Hopefully, the dragon would forget about that, although from the stories his mother used to tell Ryu, dragons weren't easily sated. The male briefly wondered if the dragon was as hard to satisfy in other areas.

The trembling, the uncertainty, the overall discomfort with the decision...he loved every bit of it, and felt it coming off Ryu in waves. It was a nice set of emotions; he even swore he felt fear. He basked a moment in the feeling of ruining a human life with his own seed, and he purred a bit at the thought, leaning in to kiss the younger male on the mouth.

"We wait for a few minutes, then sneak off the ship and into the ocean. We have about fifteen minutes before you die of asphyxiation. Since your gills have never been wet, they will feel the need to be, and without the water of the ocean...you will die."

He seemed happy about this, somehow; that if they didn't leave soon, his new charge would die. Maybe because that meant he could eat the ship. Maybe it meant he could roll on the dead body like a dog until someone found him, and then he would eat the ship.

You can still hear me, right? A bond should still be connected.

Green orbs watched Vigil with disgust. Revelation hit Ryu-this man enjoyed his pain. Even with this thought was in his mind, his body lifted, pressing against Vigil as the other man kissed him. His lips opened, massaging the dragon's gently. When the kiss was broken, Ryu flinched as if he'd been hit. What was wrong with him? He desired the male's touch, and wanted him to rain praises upon Ryu's head. But he couldn't stand Vigil either.

Ryu stared as Vigil talked, then shook his head, lifting to touch the gills again. Despair filled him, though the male was sure his actions hadn't sunk in all the way just yet. "I-I'm a monster, now..." He didn't speak to anyone in particular, his head dropped, until Vigil's voice spoke inside Ryu's head, making the new merman jump. He nodded in reply, unused to speaking to someone else in his mind. "W-what kind of bond? What kind of...power, will you have over me?" His gaze was wary now, not wanting to be a dog to the demon.

Well...we will be inseperable; even if you get away, I will be able to find you. If there is a thought in your head, you will be found. And since nobody can keep their head totally void of thought for long...I'll always know where you are and come to you. I will be your protector; while I have made you an aquatic life form...you are not quite as strong as a natural born and definitely not as strong as I am in my dragon form. You will be at my beck and call, whether you want to be or not, but soon enough you will adore me.

There was even a smirk in his mental voice. He grinned a bit, kissing him gently over and over again.

"You already want me, don't you?"

Though Ryu's mind was attempting to deny everything the teal haired male told him, he was still returning the man's kisses, his hands groping Vigil's shoulders, and his hair. In response to the question, he lowered his eyes, unable to respond. His reactions would be conformation enough, Ryu was sure. He didn't want to want Vigil, but he couldn't deny the raw need he felt throbbing throughout his body.

~Will...Will I always be dependant on you? Will I ever get to leave you? And you said...you said I could see my family, from a distance...~ As he spoke in his mind, Ryu's hand went to touch his gills again. They felt uncomfortable, itchy. And it was strange, feeling the slits opening and closing.

You will always be dependent on me, and if I were to die, you would wish it upon yourself. It is...a horrible side-effect of being a human turned by me.

It was the first time it had happened that he actually wished this one would live. Usually, he would want them dead soon or do it himself, but...now, he was fine with having Ryu.

"Come, we should get you in the water. Time to sneak out."

Ryu had fallen silent, biting his lips. As much as he hated to want the other male so much, he couldn't helpd but feel a strange pain, even thinking about Vigil dying. Although his other questions were unanswered, he nodded. There would be time later, right now the slits in his neck were begining to burn.

He moved to the door quickly, peeking out before opening it. The hallway was empty, although with that strange mist, all hands were probably on deck. It would be much harder to get out there. Ryu was suprised to find now that he knew of it, talking to Vigil in his mind seemed natural. Vigil...did you create the mist? What happened to the other ship? The male asked, even as his body inched down the hallway.

As he followed the other, much more brash with his movements, he nodded a little.

I created the mist...it's easy to do, I could teach you. Even you could do it. As for the other ship...I destroyed it to get you guys to pull me up. Well, at least he was honest. He led the way up to the entrance to the deck, then looked back. The mist will get thicker, so thick you cannot see anyone. Well, a human can't. With your eyes, you can now see everything.

The male followed, shaking his head. Egotistical much? He didn't speak directly to Vigil, but shivered slightly, wondering if the other boy would have to 'listen' or 'tune in' to his thoughts, or if he could simply hear them all the time. ~So, you killed all those people, for no reason at all?~ Ryu shivered again, pushing past Vigil to open the door unto the deck. People were moving around quickly, though the ship had slowe considerably. In a passing thought, Ryu wondered idly what task he would have been set to.

Ryu moved to the edge of the boat, looking down the railing. It was a good thirty to forty feet down. Many times, sailors that fell got so injured, the other crew members couldn't help. He shivered, wanting to jump into the tantalizing water, but afraid of the fall. ~Are you wanting to lower one of the lifeboats? A-and...~ Ryu hesitated: What kind of sailor couldn't swim? ~I can't swim too well... Vigil had legs, from what he'd seen, and Ryu had yet to see Cain.

I killed them to get closer to you. That's a good reason, isn't it? A long pause, and he shook his head, No need. We can just jump; it'll be fine. Trust me, I've jumped from higher heights. And with that, he pushed Ryu over the side. Don't panic, just relax and it will come to you as natural as breathing. I'll be right there. And then it was his turn to dive in, his arms in front of him. They were inhuman, now; they took different damages than people did.

And yes, I can hear every thought you think. It's what keeps us tethered together. You can't hear everything I think, though. Only when I want you to. He figured it was a good thing to let him know.

The previous human had cried out as he was pushed, falling into the icy water. He felt relief, suprisingly, as the water flowed in his gills, and was pushed out quickly. It felt...right. And-What the hell was that? Ryu spun around in the water, staring at where his legs had been. His tail was black, like his hair, although there was a green the same shade as his eyes in it. He flicked the tail experiamently, gasping in the water as it propelled him forward. He moved around a bit, marvelling at the water. He'd never opened his eyes underwater before. Vigil had been right, it was beautiful.

After swimming in circles and moving up and down a bit, Ryu remembered the other male, and he stopped, his arms waving around him sheepishly. ~No!~ He continued the previous conversation. ~That's no reason! And you didn't know me...Did you? And that's really not fair! I don't want you to know everything I'm thinking!~
Especially when it's about you....
~How can I stop that?~

Vigil watched him from afar, finding all of this far too amusing. There had never been something quite as amusing in his life than a newly turned merman. They weren't meant to be created from humans like this. But...he had been desperate to keep his toy alive; he felt something for him already. It was a good feeling...something of possession.

I knew you...I always find people I like before hand. I knew you on that little spit of land you call home. Mm...you're too delicious to leave alone. It's better if I know everything you think, in fact...if I don't I'm worried about what you could be thinking...and then I have to kill you when I already deeply feel this connection to you.

The merman moved a bit closer to Vigil, tilting his head. ~I don't understand...d-do you mean, you knew me when I lived in Havana? How? So...you killed those people because of me...Why? And why must you feel so paranoid about me? As if the world is out to get you..?~ He didn't believe Vigil would get mad at his for asking so many questions, and after all, he hadn't gone to the male and told him to do this to Ryu.

A shiver ran down his spine, as what Vigil said sunk in fully. The dragon knew Havana...If Ryu did try to leave...His little sister and mother flashed in his mind, and Ryu shivered again. He stared at Vigil for a moment, forgetting his thoughts were known by the other man. He truly is a demon. He may be beautiful, but that's a disguise for the monster underneath. I can't let myself forget that... As he was thinking, Ryu had moved a bit further away from Vigil, suddenly not wanting to be close to the king. ~A-and where are we going now?~ This was an attempt to distract Ryu from the other things floating in his mind.

I've been watching you for a long time. You were different from the other stupid humans that plague this planet. I have a very set thought in my mind about mortals...they are all stupid and piggish and horrid creatures to be obliterated. But, you see...you were different. You've always been different. You have compassion, you have love...true love. Vigil swam closer to the male, looking at him carefully. But the fact is, you are still human...in here. He poked his chest, then his mind. And humans are known to be flippant; you'll change your alliance at the drop of a hat. So I have to constantly monitor your thoughts, and at the first one that could lead to my or my brother's death, you will be executed.

The next thought made a twisted grin come over Vigil's face. He almost looked crazy for a split second, before his face went back to being calm and serene. I'm not a demon...I'm honestly and truly a positive force in this world. Maybe not to you, maybe you think I'm a monster...but that's because you were human, and you feel remorse for them. You can't make me feel human; I never was one. It's like trying to describe the feeling of flight to someone who has only swam their entire life. As much as you may hate me for not feeling remorse to your previous race, that does not make me a demon or a monster. Your race, from my eyes, is a monstrous one; you kill and rape and ravage your own people, you destroy innocent lives because they do not share your views, you cheat and ruin each other...it's like you're your own failsafe devices. People are cruel creatures, and not only to the others of their species; they're cruel to anything and everything that walks, swims, flies, or lives on this planet. They believe everything needs to be exterminated for their benefit; but to benefit nature, the thing that gives life to everything, they are the ones that need to be destroyed. Don't forget what you were apart of; and don't think that for a second I will. I know you have murderous intent hidden somewhere beneath all your thoughts, and I know you will turn on me in time. So, in advance, I want to tell you that I've loved you from afar for a very long time.

The male merman had been moving slowly away as Vigil spoke to him, shaking his head to deny things the dragon told him. When the male finished, however, Ryu had frozen, staring stupidly at Vigil. ~No...NO! You can't have loved me, and I don't want to be someone's pet! You say you can't feel remorse for something you never were?! That's not right. If I step on a bug, I feel remorse for it! You could, if you let yourself, you-you. You're just a monster!~ The male twisted around, his tail pumping as he began to swim.

He hadn't gone far, however, when he stopped. Ryu couldn't cry, his tears would just blend with the saltwater embracing his body, though he wanted to. He felt weak, and stupid. Vigil had tricked him. He'd destroyed innocent people to get to him. And all because the demon simply wanted him. He had no idea how to survive in the strange world he'd entered, didn't even know what was safe to eat. And if he left Vigil, the dragon would destroy his hometown.

A sob bubbled from Ryu's throat. He had no doubt the teal haired male would find him through his thoughts, and carry his threats though. Ryu had no choice but to obey the dragon. He shifted in the water, moving back to Vigil, though he wouldn't raise his eyes to meet the male. He may say he loves me, but changing me into a freak wasn't any way to show it. He wants you as a toy Ryu, don't forget that... The male winced, remembering this time how Vigil could read his thoughts. ~Sorry, but you know it's true. What should I call you then? Ryu took on a sarcastic tone. ~Your Majesty? Lord?~ He snickered, ~Master?~
