Unless you count one that would resemble Count D's.
The one where the merman becomes a pet for a certain human with restrictions (e.g. not to bring their lovers home because they'd be food to the mermaid, to listen to it sing every night, to feed it on time). But, because its past owners didn't follow the restrictions, they found themselves dead? XD
