I don;t have an action replay, nor will I get one. To me, its unethical. That's why I'm on the bubble on this method of getting event pokemmon

That and action replays are known to be a bit buggy and well corrupt saves. I've learned the hard way when playing FF9 with cheat codes on. -_-. Got to the last disk and had it glitch on me. I still can't bring myself to replay that game, either.

I personally don't like to use "hacked" pokemon, but I do have a few because they were traded to me. I always treat traded pokemon as suspect and value my own more than they probably should be valued at just because I earned them myself. :lol: But I don't trade legendaries, so it hasn't really affected me.

EDIT: Ah, no that's okay. I already have all of the event pokemon that have been released on the DS so far, at least those that matter to me. I'm just waiting for Celebi to be released and I think that's the last special event pokemon I need.

We prefer to do things legit when and if at all possible. It makes things more fun and challenging.

Hey, I'm not judging. XD I was so ticked off when Target screwed me out of getting a Jirachi, but a friend finally gave me one. That one might not be legit, but I'm not going to argue. I also don't train legendaries for moves/natures since I never plan to battle with them. In that sense, I simply use them for collection purposes.

I am always legit. You're talking to someone that beat Emerald and Ruby Weapon on FFVII and Omega weapon on FFX without owning any cheat devises.
That's why I am hung up about these events. according to the game, they are legit. I'm just not so sure myself. I only collect them too, and without this, I would never have even seen a Deoxys or Celebi

That's kind of how I see it, Ferra. You can't breed them to make sure they get decent Natures and IVs, so they're not as easy to mold into decent fighters. Not to mention most legendaries are way too powerful to begin with that it's really cheap.

My most used Pokemon are fairly easy to obtain, and are common. I enjoy them more, plus I can take them to the Battle Frontier. :3

It'll be fun to finally give your daughter a Mew though. She'll be smitten, and I'm sure Kyle will be jealous. You know he tried so hard to hack pokemon with his AR...heh.

Cheating takes the fun out of these games. I know a kid that has a hacked cart (my daughter's friend) and all he does is wander around pwning everything with all of his lvl100 shinys. I miss the fun in that.

If you simply want to see any of the event pokemon, I'd be happy to trade and trade back. :yes: Including if you want to make your awesome Smeargle combo. However, I'd prefer if my event pokemon remain untouched level-wise.

I'd like to see this event pokemon site. 1) If it is legit, does that mean they hacked the database? O_o and 2) I doubt I will ever be close enough to an event store to get one on my own. Having that option is interesting.
Although I'm not sure if I would actually do it.

Absols are on target for giving them away tonight. They are all Adamant with 31 IV in attack and have Super Critical as an ability. If properly EV trained, it'll have just short of 200 attack by level 50, and if not trained, should have around 170 by level 50. I've only got one so far, but it hasn't taken all that long to get it. And they all have Mean Look, False Swipe, and Thunder Wave.
The only issue is that you will all need to teach it SOMETHING for its fourth move before you ever use it. It starts with Feint as its fourth attack, which means that it cannot kill anything right now. Whatever you do, don't learn anything over Thunder Wave or Mean Look. Once gone, you won't be able to get it back.

Breeding is a bitch sometimes, isn't it? XD I've had moments where it technically should have great odds and yet I'll get a long chain of duds instead.
