Léan noticed the grin and arched a pale eyebrow, clearly not feeling her amusement. It had been such a tempting idea!

"Thanks...you're a lifesaver..." Viktor quickly took the pills, then waved as he headed out of the room.

"Pout all you like," she said, "I think it's adorable. But if I had let you mess with him, he might not agree to let us use the pool."

Léan faltered for a moment, pink in the cheeks, then scowled. "Oh, fine...fine. It was so tempting...and it would have been hilarious..."

Getting up Glory stretched and then ran a hand through her hair. Feeling her hair, she grimaced. "I need to wash my hair... It feels really nasty..." Picking up her towel, she grabbed some clean overclothes and her bathing suit. "I need a quick shower. If Selena wakes up, the painkillers are on the nightstand next to her bed. She's going to want them."

Léan nodded, visibly nervous once Selena's presence in the room was brought to his attention. He was still nervous about being near her, but...he would live.

"Pretend to be asleep if you want to," Glory said. "You don't have to talk to her if you don't want to. But I really need to wash my hair. All the salt from the water is bad for it."

Léan nodded, and then curled up again, settling down so it looked like he was sleeping. He didn't want to talk to her...not yet. He was pretty sure Selena felt the same.

Glory went into the bathroom, intent on a shower. She sighed happily once she was under the hot water. She could practically feel the salt dissolving out of her hair. She relaxed in the water for a little while before before quickly washing out her hair and turning off the water. Once she was dried and dressed again, she left the bathroom, blotting out her hair with her towel.

Selena was awake, and holding her head, much like Viktor had been. "Oooh...I barely remember last night..." she complained.

Léan was still pretending to sleep, of course.

"I'm not surprised," Glory replied as she handed her roommate the water and painkillers. "You came back so drunk you couldn't stand."

"Not again..." Again? That raised more questions than it answered. Selena took the pills eagerly, gulping them down, and then sprawled back out on the bed. "Oogh...no matter how ill I feel, I'm definitely going down to the beach today...can't afford to miss a day of vacation."

Viktor knocked on the door when she finished speaking. "Curry's still asleep and he has the door locked. Mind if I use your bathroom quick?"

"Oh...I talked to him about the pool and he said it's okay...just give him the word..." Selena recalled, nodding.

"Go ahead," Glory nodded to Viktor. Once her hair wasn't dripping anymore, she grabbed her brush and started to carefully brush it out. "What do you mean, 'again'?" she asked Selena.

Viktor scuttled into their room and into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him.

"I don't often get so hammered. The last time was a year ago...yacht party. I fell off," Selena admitted, sheepishly. "I woke up on the deck. Someone pulled me up, thankfully..."

Well, that figured.

"At least you didn't fall off this time," Glory replied as she twisted her hair back.

"Mm...yeah, I guess." Selena sighed, looking like she felt a little better. "I think I'm going to go sunbathe..."

Léan lifted his head, tired of pretending to sleep, and shook the small rocks out of his hair.

"Alright," Glory said. "Just be careful. I'm usually paranoid with a reason, so don't get mad at me for that."

Selena gathered up her second bathing suit and stretched. "I'll change down there, in one of the changing rooms...I'll see you later! Don't forget to ask Viktor about the pool." With that, she left for the beach.

Viktor stepped out of the bathroom a moment later, sighing. "I don't know how long Curry's going to be asleep..."

"What's stopping you from picking the lock?" Glory asked. "Or just taking the doorknob off?" It sounded simple enough to her. Then again, she'd done both before herself, as well as taking a door off its hinges.

"If he's still pissed, I don't want to aggravate him. Have you seen that guy? He's a bear!" Viktor reminded her, scratching his head and looking a tad sheepish.

"Not very trusting, are you?" she asked dryly. "If you're afraid to take the door off, I have no problems with it. I've done it before, I just need a screwdriver."

"No, no...I'll just wait until he wakes up," Viktor replied, cautiously. "I'm not chancing that. He can get violent when he's drunk and hung over..." He cleared his throat. "Do you guys want the pool today?"

"Could we?" Glory asked. "Is there any way to get rid of the chlorine? Or is it not chlorinated?"

"There is chlorine in the pool, unfortunately...but we haven't put any in for over half a year, so I don't know if it's still working," Viktor admitted, grinning. "It never gets dirty, so we rarely add any chlorine to it."

"A pH check won't take long," Glory mused. "Even I know how to do that. Next question would be if there's any oxygen in the water, but that's harder to figure out."

"Pretty sure there is. We don't get many people swimming in it, since this is a coastal area," Viktor hummed, laying himself out on the couch. "You can have the pool for today, if you'd like. I'd suggest using the suitcase to transport him..."
