Luckily, Léan wasn't paying much attention to the rocks around him--he was really just looking for a suitable hiding place in the nooks and crannies.

Glory watched him for a few moments, ducking back behind the rock when he got close. Once he was close enough, she grinned and slid down the rock.

"Got you!" she said as she landed next to him and wrapped her arms around him, giggling.

Léan jumped, grumbling a bit. "Damn it."

He'd thought he'd found a nice, secluded area--all the way in the middle of the rocks. And she found him anyway. It was disappointing--he'd thought he was creative enough not to get caught.

It took him a moment to notice the arms around him, and he stared at them, not trying to slap at her with his tail like he had Damon. "Why do all three of you insist on hugging me?"

He still didn't struggle. And though there was no emotion in his expression, the tiniest hint of a blush had tinted his cheeks, before fading completely.

"Because you always look like you need it," Glory replied, letting him go. "You don't need to be such an ice cube all the time. Lighten up a little, alright?"

Léan grumbled. "I am not an ice cube," he replied idly, amused by the new nickname, of sorts. He didn't seem to be too interested in playing tag anymore.

"Then you're certainly doing a wonderful impression of one," Glory teased, nudging his shoulder. "And I did tell you that it didn't matter that I can't keep up with you. My feet are going to hate me tonight, but that's okay. They just aren't used to climbing all over the rocks."

Léan nodded, stretching out boredly, alien to the concept of sore feet.

((Interesting. We'll see how long it glitches, and how badly. It's only glitched on me like this once or twice.))

Grinning, Glory waited a moment to let him stretch out, and then dunked him underwater, giggling. After she dunked him, she immediately used the rock to push herself just out of reach. She knew he would probably return the 'favor', so she was already bracing herself for it.

"Agh." He brought his head back up and shook his hair out, not minding, seeing as he could breathe underwater. Léan nodded, surprised that he was not bothered by the prospect.

"You...don't mind having sore feet? Really?" It was mind-blowing. A slight grin was on on his face.

"If I minded getting wet, I wouldn't be in the water," Glory pointed out. "I know what I'm getting into. Just keep in mind that I need air, that's all." Grinning, she splashed some water at him. "Haven't you ever just had fun for the fun of it?"

Léan's brow furrowed a bit, and he didn't bother dodging the splashing--it felt nice. He shrugged, humming, honestly not knowing.

He was quite tempted to dunk her, but he didn't bother, thinking it would not be good if she accidentally drowned.

When he didn't reply, Glory sighed.

"You just completely freeze up when you realize you're having fun," she said. "You've done it three times in the last ten minutes. Why can't you just loosen up once in a while?" She gestured to the surrounding area. "There are no people around. This is a really rocky stretch of beach, so it's empty. Nobody to see you actually having fun."

Léan swished his tail back and forth, thoughtfully.

"...I'm not used to having fun?" he offered after a moment, completely honest. "Before you found me, I hadn't spoken to anyone but my brother for...years, now. I don't have any friends. I've never had open, honest 'fun' with anyone but my brother, and he is hyper enough to supply enough fun for both of us..."

"Can't you just... try to have fun? A little?" Glory asked. "You have to have fun sometime. Besides, you're already halfway there. You've got yourself a friend now, right?

Léan looked puzzled. "I do, yes. But, in all honesty, I don't know how to have fun..."

He'd never had any friends, throughout his entire life. Arcturus was the friendly twin, and everyone back home had favored him and left Léan alone.

"You were having fun a little while ago," Glory pointed out. "You even smiled a little... I think." She shrugged. "You don't have to 'know' how to have fun. It just happens."

Léan seemed bothered by this explanation, for some reason.

He'd wanted something concrete, but now he had nothing to go on. He looked completely lost. He floated there, looking like he needed some help with this.

Glory drifted over to him. He looked so confused. Well, maybe he just needed a little nudge in the right direction... Grinning, she dunked him again and then moved backwards, out of reach. Maybe this time he would actually get the hint and have some fun. Maybe they'd even get Damon in on it, and Archie, when he got back.

"Hey!"

Léan grumbled, half-understanding. His tail swished back and forth, both playfully and dangerously. Revenge? He would have it.

He followed her, able to swim at a blinding speed unless he had to turn to avoid rocks a bunch of times.

Glory backpedaled a bit, trying to stay out of his reach. She barely had time to take a quick breath before be pushed her under. As soon as he let her go, she pushed up from the bottom and broke the surface, laughing.

"See you get the idea!" she said.

Léan still seemed somewhat confused about it, but he understood a little better, now. He didn't see too much of a point to go with it...

"I suppose so." His voice was dry. He still sounded far too much like a stuffy old gentleman--he was seventeen and spoke like he was fifty.

Glory sighed.

"Honestly, how old are you?" she asked. "Because you're acting like you're about ten times that old. You're allowed to play, you know."

Léan cocked an eyebrow.

"Seventeen. In the years of my kind, anyway. We age much slower than humans do," he informed her, flicking his tail around. "In human years, I would say I am about...thirty-five?"

Glory blinked.

"Bizarre..." she said. "Because I'm seventeen. I don't see how you could be thirty-five. I don't think I can wrap my brain around that. How are you so fun-constipated if you're that much older than I am?"

Léan shrugged.

"I am not used to being social. That's probably why." It was true. In human years, he was thirty-five. As was Archie.
