"It's perfect," Glory replied. It was loose enough that she didn't have to wrestle it on and off, but it wasn't so loose that it would slip off as she went about her day. "I thought you said you were going to wait until we got back home to work on things, though," she said.

"I had a burst of inspiration for that shell and those stones. I couldn't wait," Léan admitted, sheepishly. "I wanted to get them set into something as soon as possible."

"Well, it's beautiful," Glory said. She grinned. "If I didn't know better, I would say you were making things specifically for me."

Léan frowned and folded his arms across his chest. "I have no one else to make things for," he huffed, shortly. "I've tried making things for Arcturus before. He's reckless, and ends up breaking them."

"That's not what I meant, and you know it," Glory said teasingly.

Léan huffed again, tail flicking back and forth beneath him. "Hmph." He yawned widely, then stretched himself out. "What have you been doing for the past few hours?" he asked, curiously, as he laid himself out on the small rock he was on.

"I took a walk around the island," Glory replied. "Did a little shopping and whatnot."

Léan nodded idly, then closed his eyes. "I wonder if Arcturus is all right. It sounded like he was taking everything seriously, but I can't help but worry about him...he is the younger twin, after all."

"I'm sure he and Damon are alright," Glory said. "We would have heard something from home by now if something was wrong, right? Nana has my number, after all..."

"You're probably right, but I can't help but worry." Léan sighed, then perked up again. "What do you want to do, now? We could go back inside, if Selena doesn't mind."

"I have no idea what to do now," Glory replied. "We've seen and done what we can together around here... I don't know what else we can do."

Léan frowned, tail flicking back and forth, absently. "...That is true. Unless you want to grab your scuba gear and fill the tank up, and go swimming with me underwater. Since Viktor takes his friends diving all the time--from what I heard about him while I was up on land--there should be something you can use to fill the tank up completely in the house somewhere."

Glory thought about that for a moment. It would irritate her sunburn, but if she didn't stay under too long...

"I'll ask about how to fill the tank," she said, taking out her phone to text Viktor. Quickly, she sent the message, hoping he was somewhere where he'd have his phone on him.

Viktor took a few minutes to respond. He must have been out on the beach or something.

There's a machine that'll help you fill the tank in the basement. Should be all the way in the back. There's a big label on it, since people kept missing it.

Thanks, Glory replied. Then she slipped the phone back into her pocket. Her sunburn was probably going to make her regret it, but she would deal with that later. Right now, she needed to fill the scuba tank and get ready to dive.

Léan tilted his head at her, and then paused. "You don't have to wear that scuba suit-thing if you don't want to...it should be fine without it, as long as you can keep that tank balanced. That suit will be hard on your burned skin..."

Glory shook her head.

"No, the suit is what will keep the straps of the tank from rubbing the sunburn," she said. "I just need something between my skin and the straps."

Léan nodded, then closed his eyes again. "I will wait for you, then," he mused, sounding patient. He was content waiting for her, since he didn't know how long filling up the tank to its fullest would take.

"Are you sure?" Glory asked. She wouldn't leave if he didn't want her to...

"I will be all right," Léan confirmed, confidently. "Just do what you need to do." His tail flicked back and forth, and he opened his eyes again.

"Alright. I'll be back soon," Glory said. Quickly, she went inside and grabbed the tank, heading into the basement to look for the machine to fill it. It didn't take her long to figure out how to fill the tank, since the machine had clear instructions written on it, and once it was full she went to get the rest of the scuba gear. Once she had the suit on, she headed outside. She wasn't about to put the tank on until the last moment.

Léan perked up when he saw her returning, and his tail swished back and forth above him, out of the water. It was funny to watch, like a dog wagging its tail. He dropped himself off of the rock and swam around it, waiting for her to get ready.

Putting on the rest of her gear, Glory slid into the water.

"Ready?" she asked.

Léan nodded, pleasantly, and ducked down underwater. The only place he couldn't take her around the island was in the territory of that colony of merpeople. They did not take kindly to humans, even if another merperson trusted that particular human. So, he was ready to go anywhere.

Glory ducked under too, following him. She didn't know exactly what was around the island, so for now, she was perfectly content following him.
