"The smaller one," Glory said. "It's newer, so nobody will really think twice about it."

"The smaller one folds up, too, so you can transport it really easily." Selena folded the wheelchair up for her, then held it out. "It's really light. Take it. My mom won't think twice about it."

"You sure?" Glory asked. "I don't want to get you in trouble."

"It's okay! She thinks there's only one down here, anyway--don't worry about it." Selena leaned against the wall, scratching absently at her arm. "I insist."

"Alright, if you're sure," Glory said, taking the chair.

Selena, in response, flitted out to grab the large suitcase from outside. She set it on one of the piles of antiques in the basement, sighing.

"You sure everything's alright?" Glory asked.

"Mm-hm. Everything's fine. I just need to get some sleep...quite badly," Selena chuckled, scratching her head. "I don't fare well without sleep."

"If you're sure," Glory replied. "I should probably be getting back home, though." She missed Léan already, and she wasn't sure if she'd have to rescue him from his brother or not.

"Okay. I'll talk to you later. I'd better go and get some rest...just close the door behind you when you leave!" Selena turned and headed upstairs. She really needed to get some sleep.

"Will do," Glory replied. She left with the chair, making sure to close the door behind her. Tossing the chair into her car, she pulled out again, making her way towards home.

Léan was taking a nap in the shallows. Thankfully, it looked like Archie wasn't going to leave Damon's side today, so he wouldn't be out bothering his brother.

Glory left the chair in her car as she got out and made her way to the beach. It was practically habit to go straight to the beach by now. Pulling her jacket around her a bit more, she settled down on her favorite rock.

Léan was curled up and using his tail as a pillow. He was dozing, but he wasn't quite asleep just yet. A loud noise or call would probably jolt him out of his nap.

"I'm back," Glory said. "You're so cute when you're sleeping, you know that?"

Léan jumped, then craned his head up out of the water. He was a bit pink. "Erm...all right. Welcome back..." He stretched himself out, unfurling his tail. "How did it go?"

Glory shrugged.

"Went fine," she said. "I acquired a new piece of hardware, and I left it in my car. You know, not that I've completely figured out how to make this whole wheelchair idea actually WORK, but I'm working on it."

"The biggest obstacle will be tying up my tail to make it look like legs. We will need a large blanket..." Léan had also neglected to mention that he would have to start wearing clothing to cover his torso in public. He had purposely not mentioned it. He was not looking forward to that.

"I'll figure something out," Glory said. "I'm guessing it's been quiet around here."

"Quite quiet," Léan confirmed. He sounded jubilant about this. "Arcturus hasn't come to bother me. I suppose I shouldn't be so happy about that, but...I am..."

"I would think he's a little preoccupied at the moment," Glory poined out. "Besides, you can still hope that he'll calm down at some point in the future."

"I think him calming down is impossible..." Léan chuckled. "He'll never calm down, not even when he's old...he'll still be the way he is now, though he won't be tackling people near as often..."

"People change over time," Glory said. "There's still a chance."

"I still doubt it," Léan hummed, softly. He closed his eyes, feeling lazy for some reason. "Do you want to work on trying to find a way to cover my tail up?"

"That's not going to be too much of a problem," Glory said. "The power of suggestion works wonders. If people don't expect to see anything strange, then they won't."
