"It's not unusual to fall asleep in the car," Glory said. "Don't worry about it. I guess I'm feeling a bit better... though I still need to talk to Nana."

Léan nodded, sensing her intent. "Don't be too hard on her. She probably thought you wouldn't believe her, as well," he warned, softly, as he fumbled with the seatbelt. He sighed once he managed to get rid of it.

"I know," Glory said. "Thanks for coming with me. I really appreciate it." Helping him out of the car, she locked everything up and went inside with him.

"You are welcome." Léan, once they were inside, crawled out of the wheelchair and gingerly removed the blanket and safety pins--he set them in a pile on the small table in the living room--from around his tail. He pulled himself over onto the couch and settled back down, contently. "I'm so tired..."

"Go ahead and get some sleep," Glory said. "I'm going to check the beach real quick, and then I need to talk to Nana."

Léan nodded, pleased. "Perhaps you should grab something to snack on while you talk to her...it will help distract you from any bad feelings you might have..." he suggested wearily as he calmed down, settling down for sleep.

"This discussion won't be as... animated as the last one," Glory assured him. "Anyways, take your nap. I'll let you know if anything of interest happens."

Léan nodded, then closed his eyes. He was tired from not having gotten much sleep the previous night, and he was asleep in no time, due to that. He slept peacefully.

Once Glory was sure he was comfortable, she quietly went out the door to the beach. Everything seemed quiet as she settled herself on her favorite rock. The sound of the ocean was soothing, and it slowly wore away at her bad mood.

As Léan had suspected, Archie was nowhere in sight. He was busy tending to his daughter and mate, and wouldn't be back out for several days.

Glory stayed out on the beach for a while until she was as close to calm as she was able to get. It was probably for the best that the beach was deserted, it meant that she didn't have to get mad at anyone for no reason. Once she'd calmed down, she made her way back inside. She wasn't quite ready to talk to Nana, though. She would do it later, once she'd come to terms with things a bit better. Quietly, she went into her room to try to relax and think about things.

Léan had a semi-fitful sleep. Something was nagging at him, and he wasn't quite sure what it was. He didn't sleep for too long because of this. He jolted awake, then yawned and stretched himself out.

Glory had dozed off herself in her room. The stress of the day had finally gotten to her, in addition to the late night, and she'd fallen asleep on her bed. Her iPod was playing quietly, so as not to bother anyone else, and her window was open a little both so that she could hear the sounds of the beach and so that her room stayed cool.

Léan curled himself up in a tight ball on the couch, resting and looking much like a curled-up cat or dog. Something bothered him about the dream he'd been having, which he couldn't remember. He was trying to recall...

Glory slept for a little while, finally relaxing a bit more. She felt better when she woke up, calmer and more mellow. She still wasn't ready to talk to Nana, but her mood wasn't as bad as it was before. Reaching over, she turned off her iPod, which was still playing softly, and got up to head back into the living room.

Léan could be heard grumbling and--a new sound--hissing, territorially. There was a large fly buzzing around the living room. He hadn't minded it, until just a few minutes ago. IT had bit him.

The sound surprised Glory a bit as she came into the living room.

"What's with you?" she asked. Then she saw the fly. "A horsefly? I thought those didn't live around here..." Going into the kitchen, she grabbed a plastic cup and waited until the horsefly landed on the counter before trapping it under the cup. Slipping a paper towel under the cup, she trapped the fly and let it go outside.

Léan relaxed, then grumbled a bit more. "It bit me. I tried to kill it, and it bit me again." His hissing had sounded much like a territorial lizard's, or a large snake's. It was quite animal-like.

"Yeah, horseflies do that," Glory said, sitting down next to him.

Léan shot a disdainful look out the window and then relaxed again, letting out a contented, slow sigh.

Glory leaned against him, cuddling a little. She finally felt relaxed now that she was with him again.

Léan leaned on her, as well. He was also relaxed, now, though he felt like he was forgetting something important--it had to do with the dream he couldn't remember.

Glory could tell he was a bit tense, even though he was more relaxed than usual.

"Is something bothering you?" she asked softly.

"I had a dream while I slept. It was peculiar. I believe it concerned something important, but I can't remember it...it bothers me a bit," Léan hummed, frowning.

"Do you remember anything about it at all?" Glory asked. She found sometimes that thinking about the parts that she remembered helped her recall the rest of the dream.
