"Shall we head inside and see, then? I doubt I will get it on the first try..." Léan chuckled. "I will probably topple over..."

"Alright," Glory said, giving him a kiss and picking him up. It didn't take long to get inside and into her bedroom, which is where she knew the wheelchair was.

Léan nodded towards her bed. "You should set me down here, and then we'll place the wheelchair next to the bed...I will have to get on it quickly, as well..."

Glory nodded and set him down on the bed.

"Make sure the brake is on so it doesn't roll," she reminded.

Léan adjusted the wheelchair properly, and then adjusted himself into a semi-laying position on the bed. "Start in three seconds. I will be ready."

Glory nodded.

"Alright," she said, getting her phone ready.

Léan counted off three seconds, and then quickly hoisted himself into the chair, adjusting it again. He then turned it and headed on out of the house. He went at a semi-quick pace, and just barely breached fifty seconds. It was good for his first try.

Glory stopped the timer as he got to the door.

"That wasn't bad, actually," she said. She grinned. "And you didn't fall over."

"I will probably fall over at least once. Let's keep trying until I get under forty at least three times..." Léan suggested, playing it safe.

"Sounds like a plan," Glory said. She could admit that she was still a bit scared of the whole idea, but she was still definitely willing to go through with it.

Léan went through this trail run another twelve times before finally succeeding in getting under forty seconds three times. He did fall, on his fifth run through, but he hadn't been injured and had simply curled up on the floor, laughing.

Glory couldn't help but laugh with him when he fell over the one time, and helped him back up.

"You alright?" she asked.

Léan nodded, looking amused. "Well...I knew I would fall one time, and I did..." He shuffled on the wheelchair, looking pleased with himself. "Do you think I will be able to get out quickly enough, now?"

Glory nodded.

"Yeah, I think so," she said. "Do you?"

Léan's tail flicked back and forth, contently. "I think I will. If not...I will only be off by a few seconds, at most," he reminded her, softly.

"Alright," Glory said. A few seconds wasn't bad... She just wanted him next to her. She didn't want to change by herself.

Léan could understand that. It was very painful, and traumatic...it was even worse when the changing one was alone.

Leaning over, Glory hugged him, just wanting some of the physical contact. She was still a bit afraid, but she knew she'd be alright.

Léan returned her hug, gently resting his head against hers. He knew she was afraid. He didn't like that--not in the least. But it was natural, considering what was going to happen.

Glory cuddled closer to him.

"Thanks," she said softly. "For being willing to change me."

"You are welcome," Léan murmured, closing his eyes and shifting a bit closer as well. He didn't want to move too much--he didn't want the wheelchair to fall over.

"We can move into my room, if you want," Glory suggested softly after a moment.

In typical fashion, Léan grew nervous and semi-tense. But, his answer came out strong, if not a little anxiously. "...All right...I am willing to move..." he replied, quietly.

"Are you sure?" Glory asked. "We can wait a little longer, if you want..." She didn't want the weekend to be a waste, but she wasn't going to make him do anything he wasn't comfortable with.

"It would be a waste of your weekend, and mine, if we waited..." Léan retorted, voicing her thoughts. "...Knowing me, I will probably always be somewhat uncomfortable with things such as this--hence my embarrassment--but I am fine. We can try."
