Giggling, Glory got up and went to go and change out of her pajamas. In their place, she just wrapped the towel around herself again, making sure it wasn't going to fall off.

"Alright," she said, coming back into the room, "let's go."

Léan shifted out of the blankets, and laid himself out so that he would be easier to scoop up. His stomach continued to groan in protest.

Lifting him up gently, Glory took him outside and set him down at the shoreline. Then she went and sat down on her favorite rock.

"I want to test something real quick," she said, slowly inching her feet towards the water. Gradually, she dipped her feet into the water. She wanted to see how far she could get before she switched forms. She'd barely gotten her ankles wet when her legs changed. "I wonder if there's a way to learn how to control it..."

"There probably is. If your feet are covered with something waterproof, you won't change. But the moment they get wet, it's hopeless," Léan hummed, swimming around in lazy circles in the shallows near her.

"No, I mean consciously control it," Glory said as she left the towel by the rock and slid into the water. "Like to change at will, rather than whenever I get wet. There's got to be a way to learn how to do that."

"I doubt it, but go for it," Léan hummed, softly. He had never read anything like that, so he doubted that it could be done. He was keeping an eye out, currently, for his brother.

"There's no harm in trying," Glory said. She was keeping an eye out as well, just in case.

"True, true..." Léan hummed, agreeably. The only person he could sense nearby was Azilis, who seemed to be relaxed--napping or bathing in the sun somewhere. He was hoping they didn't run into him. He didn't want any sort of scolding to be going on, once he realized what had happened while he and Clarissa had been gone.

((...it's the middle of the day, what are you doing online?))

"Come on," Glory said, "let's get to the reef." She didn't know that her father was around, but it wouldn't surprise her if she did. She was a big girl, she could handle a scolding if one came.

((I just woke up, and I don't want to go downstairs. My mother and brother are fighting again. -_-))

Léan nodded, and he led the way, trying to be as quiet as possible. He hated any kind of scolding, and didn't like to hear it. It made him feel like a child again.

((Ah. Then I'll do my best to amuse and distract you.))

Azilis noticed the two trying to sneak by. It had only taken a second for him to realize that the female was Glory. It surprised him a bit, but not a lot. He'd figured it was only a matter of time, even though Clarissa wouldn't believe him.

"And what have we here?" he said.

Glory jumped a bit, but turned around anyways. She wasn't afraid of a scolding.

"I guess that depends on what you think you see," she replied.

"I think I see the two of you sneaking off somewhere," Azilis said. It was easy to see where Glory got some of her more smartass tendancies from.

"Just down to the reef," Glory said innocently. "I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself."

Léan huffed, puffing himself out to look bigger than he really was. He looked somewhat amused, though, and thankfully wasn't being defensive for once.

"I see," Azilis said. "Then I'm assuming you know about the shark that seems to like this stretch of water?"

"He's my pet," Glory replied, grinning a bit. Azilis raised an eyebrow.

Léan chuckled. "Ah...our nameless pet. Or did we finally decide on calling him Sweetness?" he added, pleased. He rested his head on her shoulder, tail flicking back and forth absently. "Perhaps you should prove it to him. I can call him."

"'Sweetness'?" Azilis repeated. He'd seen the beast, and the name seemed like it couldn't be any further from the truth.

"Well, we don't have any other name for him," Glory protested, "and that's what I got to calling him. He really is very sweet, at least to me."

"I think he's far too much like Arcturus for his own good," Léan retorted, scowling. Nonetheless, he reared up a bit and started to sing, softly.

In minutes, the large shark was heading towards shore, looking for them.

Azilis tensed slightly when he saw the shark, but relaxed a little when he noticed that neither of the two were afraid at all. He was a bit surprised at how relaxed they were around such a large shark.

Glory grinned when she saw the shark.

"There you are, sweetling," she said warmly when he got closer. "Where do you keep vanishing to?"

The shark bumped his nose against her, playfully.

"From the smell of it, just outside the reef. Among other sharks," Léan hummed, as he checked the shark for injuries from fighting. He didn't seem to have any, so he hadn't gotten in any scraps just yet.

"He probably outweighs the local ones by now," Glory pointed out. She nudged the shark back and stroked his nose gently. She was glad that the shark hadn't tried to go after her parents or anything, and she hoped that he would realize that they were allowed to be there.

The shark didn't seem that fond of Azilis, but it didn't want to attack him, since he didn't appear to be a threat to either Glory or Léan. He would have to be watched around the others, it seemed.

Léan chuckled, stretching himself out slightly. "Shall we head out to the reef, then?"

((Sorry that took so long... i had to drive my brother to the store))

Glory nodded.

"Yeah, let's go," she said. She was pretty sure that the shark would follow them, at least part of the way.

((That's okay. ^^))

Léan nodded, and quickly started out, heading in the direction of the reef. He made sure not to swim too quickly, since his arm was still heavily impaired.

The shark followed him, intending to swim beside Glory.

Glory went with him, not bothered in the least by the shark next to her. She knew he probably could have outpaced her easily if he wanted to. It didn't take long for the reef to come into view.

Léan's stomach grumbled more upon noticing a big school of fish above them. They were bluish-black fish. Not tuna, obviously, but still good-tasting fish.

Glory glanced around, surprised that the fish hadn't been scared away by the shark. Then again, they were probably used to him being around by now...
