"It is too damn early to be awake," Glory grumbled as she gathered her things and made her way outside once she was dressed. She grabbed a bagel on her way through the kitchen and grabbed her keys before going out to see if anyone was awake.

Lleu was still awake. He looked strangely satisfied for some reason, and seemed to be running some things over in his mind. Whatever he had spoken to Léan about must have really gotten his mental gears moving.

Glory blinked tiredly a few times, wondering why he looked so satisfied, and for a moment, she wanted to ask why.

"Alright, should I even ask why you have that look on your face?" she finally asked. Hey, nobody ever said she was nice in the mornings.

"It is a long story," Lleu replied, simply. "Your mate and I had a rather enlightening conversation last night, after you fell asleep. Something has been on his mind."

Glory blinked a bit when he said the word 'mate.' Was that what they were? Regardless, it was too early to think about such things.

"Alright," she said. "Too early for a long story. I need to get going anyways. School starts in twenty minutes or so."

"Have fun. Don't forget to ask about testing the material that 'necklace' is made out of," Lleu reminded her, contently. He laid himself out in the shallows, comfortably, to finally settle down for sleep. He didn't sleep often, and he didn't sleep for long, either.

"Right, I'll remember if I don't forget," Glory said. It was redundant, but she was also only just awake enough to drive to school without crashing. It took her a couple of tries to get her car started, since is had been sitting in the cold so long without being used, but eventually she was able to make it to school. She slid into her seat a few minutes before the bell rang.

Viktor was early, and had already been there when she walked in. He was dead asleep, head resting against his arms on the desk. He hadn't had a restful night.

Glory nudged him a bit as she went by.

"Come on," she said, "only about another minute or so till the bell."

"Five...more minutes..." Viktor groaned in response, barely moving. He would probably need a more forceful awakening--he didn't even sound fully awake.

"Weekend was that bad, hm?" Glory asked as she shook his desk a bit. "I'd give you a can of Monster if I bought that shit, but I don't."

Viktor jolted out of sleep, clutching his desk hard and looking around aimlessly. "Oooohhh...sorry. Was partying all weekend..." he yawned, glancing around.

Selena was there, but wasn't too noticeable. She was sitting in the back, looking almost as sleepy as Viktor did. She was managing to keep herself awake, however.

Glory saw Selena looking just as tired and raised an eyebrow.

"Geeze, and all I did was hustle to the Gulf of Mexico and get trapped on the wrong side of an aquarium for a while," she commented.

"Sounds like fun. My parents went away for the weekend, and I took full advantage of the house and all of its wonders. Even hired a cleaning crew to clean up and make it look like I was a good little boy while they were away..." Viktor chuckled, stretching himself out. He yawned again when the bell rang.

"Yeah, I'm not sure what my parents are up to at the moment, and I don't really plan on finding out," Glory replied as she slid back into her seat. She wasn't looking forward to being back in school, but she'd deal with it.

Viktor ended up falling asleep again during class, and the teacher promptly woke him up by dropping her textbook on the ground. He barely paid attention during class.

Glory jumped a little when the teacher dropped her textbook as well, having dozed off a little herself. Her day was already starting to take a nosedive, so she would just try to keep her head down and finish her make-up work.

Once the bell rang, Viktor gladly hopped up out of his seat, ready to head off to woodshop. He was almost finished with the canoe he'd been making.

Glory gathered up her things and followed him to woodshop. She didn't know what kind of project she should start on, but she'd figure something out.

"Aaaah," Viktor yawned, upon taking his seat in woodshop. Their project was in the back of the room, and it was the only one that looked like it was near completion.

"So was it that big of a party?" Glory asked as she sat down with a new project. "Obviously, I wasn't in town."

"I'd say most of the school was there," Viktor offered as a response. "Not everybody drank, of course, but there were a whole load of people there. I hired a DJ."

"Somehow, that doesn't surprise me," Glory replied. Absently, she reached back and twisted her hair into a bun so it was out of her way. "Like I said, I only ended up getting trapped in an aquarium for a while."

"Sounds like a good time," Viktor replied, absently. He decided that he didn't feel like working on the project--which was due in a week--right now. Instead, he laid his head down on the table, relaxing.

"Oh, before I forget..." Glory reached into her bag and took out the odd necklace. "Ever seen anything like this before?"
