Glory was quiet for a moment.

"It's your choice," she said to Léan. "You know I'll help you."

"That includes teaching me how to walk and dress myself," Léan reminded her, seeming amused. He had no idea how pants worked. There was work to be done.

"I'll have to go shopping for you first," Glory reminded him. She wasn't worried about teaching him to walk. It wasn't really something that someone could forget how to do.

Léan nodded, taking that as a confirmation. He took the bag from Lleu, who had lowered it back into the water, and reached his hand out to touch her shoulder. "Lleu said I might get sick from it, for a day or two, but I should be fine," he assured her, contently.

"Alright, I'll try not to worry too much," Glory replied.

Léan headed off to find a place where he could rest for a while--he'd eaten on the way back, so he was set to rest for a full twenty-four hours.

Archie had been listening intently. Now, he started up again. "Aw. Now I don't have anyone to play with," he complained. "Other than Damon and Eden, and I've been with them all daaay."

"Was that a not-so-subtle hint?" Glory asked him, raising an eyebrow.

"That depends," Archie replied, perking up slightly, his tail swishing back and forth eagerly. "Did it work?" He was so childlike, it was amazing.

"It might have," Glory replied, standing up. "Let me go inside and grab my towel so I can leave it out here for later."

"Yay!" Archie seemed to be much more comfortable with her, now, for some reason. Probably because Léan had changed her.

Going inside, Glory grabbed her favorite beach towel and went into her room to change out of her school clothes. Wrapping the towel around herself, she went back out to the beach and sat down on her rock. She slid her feet into the water slowly.

"I can't stay out long," she warned as her legs changed. "I do have school tomorrow."

"That's okay--I won't keep you out long," Archie promised, tail swishing back and forth at a rapid speed. He hadn't played with anyone in quite a while, and was happy that he had someone who wanted to play.

Leaving her towel on the rock, Glory slid into the water.

"At least I can't drown anymore, that's a plus," she commented.

"I'd say so." Before she could respond, Archie playfully dunked her and sped off underwater, out towards deeper water. He was such a quick swimmer. It almost wasn't fair.

It was really not fair. Glory took off after him, trying to catch him to return the favor, but she couldn't get anywhere close to him. She just wasn't fast enough.

Thankfully, Archie started to get overconfident, stopping to taunt her and then attempting to speed off again. One of these times, he turned and crashed straight into a tall wall of seaweed, becoming tangled and immobile.

Glory couldn't help but giggle when he got caught in the seaweed.

"And this is why I like karma," she commented as she got closer.

Archie grumbled, thrashing around in the seaweed in a panicked manner. It was the equivalent of someone who had their arms and legs tied up. "Just lemme out..."

"Hold still," Glory said as she worked on untangling him. "You're making it worse."

Archie reluctantly stilled himself, though his tail twitched now and then of his own accord, tangling him up even more. Despite how cheery he acted, he really was a complete wuss when it came to being restrained or confronted with something he deemed 'scary.'

Glory worked steadily, and managed to get him untangled quickly.

"There," she said. "Try not to do that again."

"Oh, I won't. I'm adding this area to my 'no traveling' list," Archie huffed, sticking his tongue out at the seaweed. He paused, and then swiped a bit of it to snack on. "Seaweed is yummy."

Glory rolled her eyes and made her way back closer to shore. It was starting to get late, and she had to head inside soon.

"You have to go now?" Archie asked, following her back. He was intent on playing with Damon and Eden for a while longer yet before they both hit the hay.

"Yeah," Glory replied. "I still have a lot of homework to get done, to make up for all the classes I missed."
