"Yeah, he's been hanging around the whole time," Glory said. "Get up towards the top and then hold still, I can pull you out."

Morty shot up towards the top of the tank, curling himself up into a ball so he would be easier to scoop up. He didn't want her to topple over. He still seemed very wary about being picked up and carried, but he was willing to endure it so that he could see his mate again.

Carefully, Glory got him out of the tank and managed to get back down the ladder without falling. Absently, she noted that she was getting better at that. Quickly, she took him outside and set him at the edge of the water.

Without hesitation, Morty dove into the water and tackled his much calmer mate, driving them both back into deeper water. There were a lot of excited chitters and calm laughter, coming from Morty and Lleu respectively.

Léan's tail flicked back and forth with interest, before he turned back to her. "I thought you said you were going to be late?" he asked, curiously.

"I thought I was," Glory replied. "But apparently, shopping for a guy is just as complicated as shopping for a girl, and Viktor insisted on taking your measurements. He's still in the car until I give him the all-clear."

"Oh." Something seemed to make Léan suddenly very uncomfortable. "...I...how is he going to take them? I have no clothing to wear, and..." he trailed off. Out of the water, he was very much naked and exposed without clothing.

"I'm not sure," Glory replied. "Probably just your shoulders, around your waist, and from your waist to your ankles." That's all she could really think of. Of course, taking measurements for a girl was a bit different, since one had to take bust and hips into account.

"I...am not so comfortable being anywhere near him or in his line of vision without something to wear," Léan admitted, sheepishly. A light blush was beginning to trail along his cheeks.

Leaning over, Glory gave him a kiss.

"Thing is, we can't get you anything to wear until we know what size to get," she pointed out. She grinned, teasing, "besides, you didn't mind me seeing you."

"That is different," Léan retorted at once, shoulders up to his chin. There was a defensive, frightened look on his face. He would need some kind of clothing...or he probably wouldn't agree to measurements of any kind.

"If you say so," Glory said, giving him another kiss. "I don't know if I have anything you could use, other than a towel... None of my things would fit you."

Léan thought, trying to remember what human clothes looked like. "...Maybe...a long, thin coat or...or bath robe?" he asked, curiously. "Something kind of roomy...it doesn't need to fit perfectly. Just...cover things..."

"I don't have a bath robe," Glory replied. "I've never needed one before. I might have a cover-up for a bathing suit, but it's see-through, so that's not helpful."

Léan looked rather mournful. "...Viktor isn't wearing one of his big, long coats today, is he?" he asked, glumly, as a last resort. He wasn't even sure if he would allow him to wear it.

Viktor was wearing a long coat today, one with a fake fur-lined rim. He hated wearing real fur, since he felt bad for the animals.

"You know, I think you'll be decent enough for five minutes in a towel," Glory pointed out. "You've seen my big beach towels. Please?"

Léan fidgeted uncomfortably. "...All right...but we test it first before he comes in," he added, firmly. Something seemed to unnerve him about the thought of someone else other than her seeing him naked as a human.

"Alright," Glory agreed. It was a reasonable request.

Léan edged himself out of the water. It didn't take long for his tail to change into legs, and he was relieved to find that the change was not painful this time around. He stood up, unsteadily, and then shivered, almost falling over. He balanced himself on the rocks.

"You get used to that," Glory said. Getting up, she grabbed her towel from by the rocks and gave it to him. "Here. If it would make you feel better... I could ask Viktor what measurements he needs, and I could take them myself."

Léan wrapped the towel around himself, and sniffed slightly. "...You would need to write them down, then...and have something to measure me with..." he murmured.

"That's easy enough," Glory said. "Viktor brought a measuring tape that I can use, and it's not like I don't have pencils and paper."

Léan nodded, a look of pure relief washing over his features. He was so glad Viktor didn't have to see him like this. Even with a towel it still made him very nervous.

Glory leaned up and gave him a kiss.

"Come on," she said around the kiss, "let's get you inside, and then I can go and talk to Viktor. That way, you don't even have to see him."

Léan purred softly during the kiss and then wrapped an arm around her shoulders to steady himself while he attempted to walk himself in. He was much more successful this time, though he still couldn't balance correctly and sometimes tried to move both legs at once and nearly fell.

Glory surprised herself by purring slightly during the kiss as well. It was such a quiet sound, though, and she almost didn't realize that it was her. She pulled away, blinking.

"Well, that was new..." she commented.
