"Perhaps." Léan's brow furrowed. "I don't care when we do this dinner...but if Lleu thinks it is a good idea, we should definitely do it." He rested his head on her shoulder.

"I'll talk to him," Glory said. "See what he thinks about waiting for warmer weather."

"Who knows...perhaps he will give you an exact date." Léan chuckled. "He is creepy like that, after all..."

"Yeah, no," Glory replied. "That kind of creepiness has to stop." She snuggled closer to him, enjoying being in his arms.

Léan seemed to want to be as close as possible to her. A nice change from how he originally acted. "I don't think that will stop. Now that he's become involved with us, that creepiness will never stop."

"True..." Glory conceeded. She grinned a bit. "You're cuddly today," she teased.

Immediately, Léan frowned. "I am not," he huffed, sourly. He hated being called cuddly or adorable, or anything like that...it was perhaps one of his more masculine qualities.

Rolling her eyes, Glory gave him a kiss.

"If you say so," she said.

Léan returned her kiss affectionately. "That word and all of its derivatives...do not exist in my dictionary," he muttered, pointedly.

"Then it's a good thing they exist in mine," Glory replied teasingly.

"Hmph." Léan sighed wearily. "...Perhaps we shall nap a bit?" he suggested, pleased. "A nap sounds good...my goodness, we've been laying around a lot and doing nothing...probably a good thing."

((Heading to bed early--not feeling too well.))

"A nap sounds good," Glory replied. "I don't mind that we've been relaxing. It's nice."

Léan nodded, and then cuddled up with her more, closing his eyes. "I hope nothing disturbs us...a nap sounds quite good right now. Have a nice rest..."

"Sleep well," Glory murmured as she drifted off to sleep.

Léan was the first to wake up. Being naturally wary of humans and their vehicles, he could hear Viktor's truck approaching from a mile away. The sports car was very airy, and cold air could slip through easily, so he always used his truck in colder weather.

He nudged Glory awake, gently. "Viktor is here, probably to drop off your homework."

Glory woke up when he nudged her a bit.

"Alright," she said. She reluctantly got up. "I'm just going to tell him he can leave it inside." She made her way back to the shoreline.

Léan's tail flicked back and forth slightly. He didn't like the thought of leaving her side for a while, but he allowed her to go, and waited for her return.

Viktor was just stepping out of his truck, a big bundle of papers in his hands.

Glory pulled herself up onto her favorite rock.

"You know, that truck can be heard all the way out there," she commented, pointing back in the general direction of the reef. "You might want to have that looked in to."

"Why would I? I like a truck that makes loud noise," Viktor scoffed, rolling his eyes. He held out his hand, offering the large stack of papers to her as he strode over. "Where you want these? Inside somewhere? Everything's done."

"Inside is fine," Glory said. "There's a little table just inside the back door, you can leave it there."

"Sure thing." Viktor disappeared inside her home for a moment, and then resurfaced, stretching his arms out slightly. "Aaahhh. It's all done, and done right. You can trust the words of someone who's competing to be the class valedictorian..."

"I'll take your word for it," Glory replied. She kept about half of her tail in the water to make sure she didn't change back. She just didn't want the hassle. "I'm not all that great at math homework."

Viktor didn't seem all that fazed by her appearance. He seemed like the sort of person who was pretty much cool with everything around him. "Haha, all right...I'll see you later. I'd better get home." He hopped back up into his truck to leave.

Once he was gone, Glory slid back into the water. She didn't want to go inside just yet.

Léan had ventured out from their resting place and was stretched out on the ocean floor, mulling things over. There were a few things on his mind, most of which he did not want to talk about unless he had to.
