"How about once you and I have had a chance to get used to the idea?" Glory suggested, grinning a bit. She gave him a kiss. "I can only imagine what your brother will say."

Léan frowned. "...Grah...now I don't think telling him is the best idea...he will freak out...and then insist on knowing every little detail...and will be overbearing..."

"He'll find out soon enough, regardless," Glory pointed out. "Wouldn't it be best to just tell him now and be done with it?"

Léan started up with his incessant grumbling again for a few moments, and then his eyes narrowed. "...I...don't think it would be a good idea to tell him right off...he will be quite annoying about it, trust me...unless...well, if you want to tell him, I won't stop you..."

Glory could see a bit of posessiveness shining through in him and cuddled closer to him.

"Unless, of course, you just want to keep me to yourself for a while," she teased.

Léan sighed, softly, and closed his eyes, holding her close. "...If you want to go and tell him, I won't stop you...but I would rather spend some more time together, if that's what you mean..."

"Then how about this," Glory said. "Why don't we go out to the reef and relax? It's usually quiet out there, after all."

Léan nodded, slowly. "All right...but...I just hope Lleu doesn't run off and tell your parents. I have a feeling he might, for some reason...a gut feeling..." He slowly stood up. Thankfully, his legs just wobbled, and he didn't fall back.

"Let me deal with my parents," Glory said as she helped steady him. "I have no idea how my father will react, but I know that my mom will be angry until she gets over herself."

Léan seemed concerned. He felt, once again, that he was going to have to take the brunt of her mother's anger...and would willingly do so, if it meant sparing Glory from it. "It is my fault, technically...so if they want to blame me, they can." He unsurely lead the way outside...and was unhappy to see that Lleu was nowhere in sight...and possibly off telling her parents.

"I said just let me handle them," Glory replied as she walked with him. She kept her hand in his, as much for comfort as to help him balance.

"You can...but that does not mean I'll force you to do so alone," Léan pointed out, firmly. He quickly shrugged out of his clothing and stumbled out into the water.

Glory undressed as well and followed him. Now that she actually knew what she was looking for, she noticed that the band of her jeans had been digging into her skin a bit, and it wasn't because they'd just come out of the laundry. She'd worn them all day, so they'd had a chance to stretch again. She made a mental note to buy some more jeans, and followed Léan into deeper water.

Léan found the reef in no time, and spent a few minutes looking for an unoccupied spot to settle down in. He found a small, rocky area surrounded by light pink and turquoise coral, and then quietly laid himself out in the area, making room for her as well.

Glory followed him and settled down in the space he'd left for her, snuggling close to him. She noticed immediately that he seemed more relaxed now, which set her more at ease as well.

Léan nabbed a crab scuttling by and began to nibble on it, absently, as he looked around. Coral reefs always made him nervous. There were often uninvited visitors in her...namely, sharks, rays, and possibly even other merpeople, looking to expand their territory.

Glory relaxed next to him, though she couldn't stop her thoughts from spinning. Namely, about how they were going to take care of a child. They had less than two months to prepare, after all.

Léan seemed to be deep in thought, as well. Suddenly, a thought seemed to occur to him. "...There is...well...a fifty-fifty chance, remember...between human and merperson..." The thought had almost slipped his mind.

"Well, I'm sure Lleu will tell us whether we ask or not," Glory replied. The thought had also crossed her mind that twins were hereditary, so there was a chance of that, too.

Léan rested his head on her shoulder, actually looking interested, at the moment. "...Should we go and talk to him?" he suggested, curiously.

"If you'd like," Glory replied. She was a bit curious now as to what else Lleu could tell them. She wanted to be as prepared as possible.

Léan paused, and then poked his head outside of the coral, looking around. He didn't say anything for a few moments. Then, he pulled his head back in, amused. "He's approaching. Quite creepy...he knew we wanted to talk to him..."

Lleu was indeed approaching from a distance, munching on what looked like a bundle of sea plants he'd gathered on his way to them.

"Creepy, but ultimately not surprising," Glory commented. "We knew that would happen. The fact that you actually checked proves that."

Lleu leaned against a nearby towering rock, close by, to address them. "Hi. I assume you have questions? I'll need to touch your hand again in order to give the most accurate answers." He held out his hand, acceptingly.

"Straightforward answers would be nice, too, but accurate works," Glory replied as she got up and held out her hand.
