"If you're sure..." Glory replied. It wouldn't be a big shopping trip, she just wanted a sweater or two to tide her over until she really outgrew her other things.

Léan seemed curious about shopping. And now that he could walk well enough, he was determined to see how he would do in public, around other humans. "I'm sure."

"Alright," Glory said. She was reluctant to get up, though. She was too comfortable.

Léan didn't seem to want to get up just yet, either. But with the waves of his nightmare still haunting him, he quietly pulled himself out of bed.

((I've got to get to bed. I should be able to stay on later soon, since I'll be getting my laptop repaired. Night!))

Glory got up as well. She definitely needed a shower, her hair felt nasty to her.

Léan wasn't familiar with the human concept of baths...but if he was going to go out in public, he would probably need to learn rather quickly. He smelled strongly of the ocean, and...oddly enough, a bit...fishy.

Glory gave him a kiss before she went into the bathroom.

"You should probably shower, too," she said. "It's not all that difficult, and you really just need to wash your hair out."

Léan blinked. "...Why?" he asked, puzzled. The concept was peculiar to him. After all, he lived in water...there was no need to...

Glory couldn't help but giggle a bit at that.

"Because humans aren't used to people smelling like fish," she explained. "And you kind of do, and so do I. I need to wash my hair out anyways."

Léan tilted his head. "...All right...I suppose I understand that..." he said, slowly. "How do we do this?" he added, idly. "I'm not quite sure..."

"You might as well join me," Glory said. "That would be the simplest way to show you, rather than explaining and leaving you to your own devices."

"Yes, that's probably for the best...leaving me alone would probably result in some kind of injury," Léan admitted, sheepishly, scratching his head.

"That's what I thought," Glory replied. She grinned. "Come on, we may as well go now." Taking his hand, she turned and went towards the bathroom.

Léan followed her, curiously. He remembered the bathroom from when he had first been inside this house...when he had been injured, and she had found him at the beach.

"Just follow me, alright?" Glory said. She went into the bathroom and started the water running. Once it was heating up, she undressed and sat on the edge of the tub.

Léan followed her awkwardly, stripping down and then sitting next to her, balancing precariously. He really did have no idea what to do...odd to see. "All right..."

"It's just easier for us to sit down, since standing isn't an option," Glory explained. Once the water was the right temperature, she switched it to the shower head and slid into the tub. Immediately, her legs changed to her tail. "That would be why."

Léan followed her, shifting so that there was enough room. Their tails overlapped, but that wasn't really a big problem. Léan changed much more quickly and smoothly than she did. Probably because he had a tail to begin with.

Glory immediately reached for her shampoo and started to wash her hair. She sighed softly once she didn't feel nasty and greasy anymore.

"Much better," she said as she rinsed out the soap.

Léan seemed puzzled by what she was doing, and watched her, brow furrowed, eyebrows pressed together. He resembled a small child watching someone disassemble a plane engine, or something of that magnitude...

Glory ran her fingers through her hair once it was rinsed out.

"Feels clean now," she commented. "It's difficult to take care of, sometimes, but I like my long hair."

Léan nodded, slowly. "...What am I supposed to do?" he asked, finally. He felt like such an imbecile, but then again, he'd never had to really bathe in all his life since he lived it underwater.

Glory explained what to do, and generally how it worked.

"I can do it for you, if you like," she offered.

"I'll try...but, we'll see how it goes," Léan decided, quietly. He grabbed the bottle she had used to help clean her hair, and studied it idly for a while. "...How does it work?" he asked, helplessly.

"The cap on top flips up," Glory said, showing him. "A little bit goes a long way, so don't use too much. And be careful, if it gets in your eyes, it burns."
