Glory noticed he was starting to get restless.

"Come on," she said after a moment. "Let's go outside. I'm sure you'll feel better then."

Léan stood up, sniffling a bit. "All right...though I don't know how well I will be underwater...if I cannot breathe that well here on land, I don't think it will be much better in water..."

"But you won't be as uncomfortable there," Glory pointed out. "I can tell when you get restless, you know." She wasn't all that keen on going outside where everyone could see her, now that it was obvious she was pregnant, but she would for him.

Léan nodded, slowly. "...Well...I...I also know we haven't said anything to Arcturus or Damon yet, about the...situation..." He knew how his brother would react...he wasn't worried about Damon, but Archie was another story.

"They're going to find out eventually," Glory said. "And it's not like I'll be able to hide it now..." For once, she was glad that his brother wasn't into hugging her.

Léan sighed, lowering his eyes slightly. "All right...but...if he starts squealing, I'm out..." he warned, the hints of grumbling already strong in his voice.

"We can avoid him, if you like, but you know it won't work for long," Glory said. She held out a hand and helped him up. "Come on, you'll feel a bit better once you're in the water again."

Léan's inevitable grumbling promptly began. He didn't want to have to deal with his brother's squealing, and freaking out about it...

And, worst of all, the stream of 'I-told-you-so's.'

"Enough grumbling," Glory said, giving him a kiss. "You know you don't really mean most of it."

Léan huffed, a bitter little sound. "I don't think I'll be able to deal with him if he starts...but...we won't know until we get out there..."

"I'll see if I can deal with him for you," Glory offered. She didn't really want to, but she knew that he didn't want to, either.

"Well...we'll just see if we run into him at all..." Léan grunted, arms folded across his chest, as he started leading the way outside. He walked well, now...though if he tripped he didn't stumble--he just fell.

Glory followed him. He seemed to be in a bad mood... Well, worse than usual, anyways. She didn't want to annoy him any further than he was already, and she knew that their tempers would clash if either of them got too annoyed.

Léan slid into the water easily, and then waited for her to make the last few steps into the water. He was hyper-alert, looking for signs of his brother nearby.

Glory slid into the water after him.

"You need to relax," she said. "Come on, let's go find a quiet place to cuddle." At least that way, there would be nobody around to see her with her belly starting to stick out like it was.

Léan slid their hands together, and nodded, starting forward. He made sure to stay away from the areas where he normally saw Damon or his brother playing with Eden...

Glory stayed close to him, holding his hand. She didn't want to run into them, either. She really didn't want to answer any questions, and she knew there would be questions.

Léan stopped at a small cave surrounded by seaweed, on the opposite end of the beach. He quickly settled down, relieved there was enough space for both of them.

Glory settled in with him. She found that laying on her side was most comfortable, so that's how she snuggled in with him.

"I'm going to have to stop going to school soon," she commented softly. "In a couple more days. Any longer than that, and someone is bound to notice."

Léan nodded, smiling slightly. He was secretly pleased by that--he was quite lonely when she was at school. Understandably so. The only other person he really had was his brother...and he and Archie often didn't get along.

He had no real friends. It was a little disturbing.

Glory snuggled close to him, one hand resting on her stomach. She still had no idea if the child was male or female, or if there even was just one. She knew that twins were a distinct possibility.

Léan stay cuddled up with her. Due to his not feeling well, he quickly drifted off to sleep, curled up close with her.

Lleu was nearby. He was easily seen among the bright colors of the coral reef, being a pure albino. He hadn't offered to answer any more questions about her offspring...then again, she hadn't asked him in a while.

Glory stayed cuddled close to Léan, and it took her a moment or two to notice Lleu. Once she did, she gently slipped out of Léan's embrace, trying to be careful not to wake him.

Léan, thankfully, stayed asleep. He didn't wake when she stirred.

Lleu seemed to be studying some odd-looking seaweed nearby, and was dipping in and out of nearby coral stacks for fun. He paused when he noticed her, resting on top of some pinkish-purple coral. "What is it?"

The rough greeting surprised her.

"Am I interrupting something?" she asked. "I can go away again."
