"No, no..." Lleu stretched himself out slightly, rolling over a bit. There was a big, red, blistery mark on his back. "A territorial group of jellyfish attacked me. Most sea life is fond of me, especially when I sing...jellyfish do not like me..."

He shook his head, and then smiled. "What is it? Is there something you want to ask me?"

"Jellyfish are like ninety-nine percent water, aren't they?" Glory asked. "I didn't think there was enough there to BE territorial." She shook her head. "Not going to think about that. Anyways, yes, I did have a couple of questions."

"You would be surprised how nasty jellyfish can get..." Lleu hummed, pointedly. "And ask away. I will answer as best I can..."

Glory took a moment to figure out how to phrase what she wanted to ask.

"Well," she said finally, "I'm not used to being so... unprepared. I don't mind not knowing the gender right away, but I'd really like to know if I'm expecting more than one child." It had been nagging at her for a while, and she hated feeling so woefully unprepared.

"Ah." Lleu extended his hand down to her, from where he was perched. "I can certainly tell you, if that is what you want. As I said before, expect human offspring...there is a small chance they will already be changed like you are...but we will have to wait and see. That, I cannot detect...not until birth, anyway..."

"That's alright," Glory said. She wasn't necessarily worried about that at the moment. Reaching over, she took his hand.

Lleu held her hand, and then his eyes closed. He spent a minute or so concentrating, and then lifted his head, contently. "Two distinct life forms. Twins...probably not identical, however."

"Wow..." Glory took her hand back and touched her stomach gently. "Well, at least I've already planned to stop going to school..."

"You're not going to school? But you are getting home-schooled, yes? Education is important..." Lleu spoke much like a chiding mother...he was much more parental than his mate or any of his close friends were. Perhaps it was because he owned and operated a safe haven for those shunned in underwater society?

"Actually, yes," Glory replied, "I'm having one of my classmates drop off my assignments for me once I stop going to school." She noticed how parental he sounded, and resisted the urge to automatically rebel a little bit. "I'm going to stop going to school within the next couple days."

"Oh. That's all right, then." Lleu sounded quite relieved. "Well...perhaps you should, erm...while Léan is asleep, maybe you should...tell his brother. He is sure not to react as badly if Léan is not with you..."

"I was considering that," Glory admitted. She'd considered it for exactly that reason. "Do you know where he is?"

"Right now, I believe he's out in the coral reef gathering some fish for himself, Damon, and Eden..." Lleu hummed, glancing around absently. "He is alone. It would be good to talk to him now..."

"Alright," Glory said. She wasn't going to get another opportunity like this. "I'll be right back, then." Turning, she headed out towards the reef.

Farther out into the reef, Archie could be seen dipping along in-between the fish. When he and his brother were apart, it was hard to tell them apart. Archie had a thinner, less muscular frame than Léan did. He was a bit more scrawny.

It didn't take Glory long to get out to the reef, and it took even less time to find him once she got there.

"There you are," she said once she found him.

Archie jumped, startled, and turned, head tilted. "Oh. Hi there!" Luckily, since it was kind of dark in the water at this time, he didn't notice her stomach. He wasn't looking for any abnormalities, though, so it wasn't odd to see that he didn't notice...

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you," Glory apologized.

"That's okay." He seemed to catch something in her expression, and his brow furrowed. "You look like you've got something to say," Archie commented, pointedly.

"Yeah, kind of," Glory said. "You have to promise that you're not going to get hysterical about it, though."

"Ooh." Archie was curious at once, and drifted closer to her. "Juicy secret about my brother? Something I can tease him about?" He snickered. "Kidding. Is is juicy news? I'm not going to freak out, but I might get loud..."

"No, you're not allowed to tease him about it," Glory replied. Best to make that part clear. She grinned a bit, and one of her hands went to her stomach. "He and I are expecting a pair of twins."

Archie was puzzled at first, not understanding. Then, realization dawned on his face, and his hands went up to his mouth to cover an excited squeak. He couldn't muster anything more without going completely hysterical, so he just hung there like that, tail swishing back and forth almost like it was wagging.

((Bed-time for me.))

"Like I said, you can't get hysterical," Glory said. "No tackling your brother, he said he isn't feeling well."

Archie only nodded. He didn't say anything else...he didn't trust himself to say anything without going completely insane over what just he'd just been told.
