Bye. Selena didn't respond to any more texts...she was too busy, at the moment. She would make sure to ask about the parenting classes, though.

Glory sighed and curled up on her bed. She wanted to go back outside, but she wasn't sure if Léan wanted to talk to her quite yet.

Léan had not returned yet. He was nowhere in sight, or earshot. Which meant he had gone out beyond the reef...he wasn't going to be back for a while, yet.

Lleu was the only one near the shore. He seemed to feel safe at their beach despite how badly he stuck out...and he was carefully sunning himself in the shallows.

Glory laid on her bed like that for a while, occasionally rubbing her stomach absently. She hadn't meant to upset him so badly...

Something about the water seemed off to Lleu. He couldn't stay still, even though he just wanted to relax in the sun. He twisted and turned, rolling over a few times. Finally, he couldn't take the creepy feeling anymore, and pulled himself up onto the sand.

Glory heard a bit of noise on the beach and propped herself up so she could look out the window. She was surprised to see Lleu on the sand.

Stark white in every way--skin, scales, eyes, and hair--he stuck out like a sore thumb on the beach, and was possibly going to attract the attention of passing motorists. Lleu glanced up at her, looking concerned and a little sheepish.

Getting up, Glory went out to the beach.

"What's going on?" she asked.

"I have this odd feeling...this odd, tingling feeling," Lleu admitted, gazing out over the water nervously. "For someone such as myself, that is not a good thing...I have this feeling that something is going wrong right now."

That didn't help to set Glory at ease at all.

"You're going to have to give me a bit more than that," she said.

"I'm afraid that's all I can tell you, unless I venture farther out into sea. Something is happening, but it's too far away for me to be able to detect..."

Too far away for Lleu meant...past the reef, and past Utzi.

"That's not helpful," Glory murmured, looking out over the water. She was already on-edge as it was, and now she was just getting more worried.

"...I think I am going to go and take a look around the area," Lleu decided, firmly. "Would you like to come with?"

"Might be a good idea," Glory agreed. She wanted to make sure everything was okay.

Lleu nodded, and he wriggled around in the sand a bit before rolling over, back into the water. He seemed rather tense being in the water again, but waited for her patiently.

Glory followed him into the water, stretching a little once she'd changed.

"Let's go," she said.

Lleu immediately set out for a direction that contrasted with that of the reef, and where Archie and Damon's still-undiscovered den was. It was the direction that Léan had set out in.

Glory followed, wondering what could be going on.

Lleu swam for quite a few minutes, and then paused. "...Ah," he murmured, semi-thoughtfully. "So that's it."

"Not all of us are disturbingly omnicient," Glory pointed out. She wanted to know what was going on.

"Léan went out to an area that is beyond this particular territory...possibly to seek out more territory, to distract himself from the drama you two had earlier..." Lleu hummed, idly. "Technically, distance-wise...the area beyond here would be considered the territory of those living here, by the shore...but..."

He shrugged. "No one ventured over there before this. Therefore...no one noticed that someone had been hiding out here. Léan was taken by surprise, and the two clashed for a bit...now, they are at a stalemate, hiding out in different parts of the area and waiting for the opportune moment to take the other out."

Glory sighed.

"Great," she said. "I can't get in the middle of that, I'm no help in a fight. Especially not like this."

"Oh, they aren't fighting anymore," Lleu reminded her, contently. "They're hiding from each other. Léan got the aggressor pretty good...he's out of commission for right now. Perhaps...we should talk to him? Make peace?"

"With which one?" Glory asked. She still ached a bit from her fight with Léan earlier, and she wasn't quite sure if he'd forgiven her yet.
