"You barely like talking about yourself on a good day," Glory pointed out as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Léan sighed, burying his face in her shoulder. "I am willing to talk about things, if...if it will keep us in safe conversational waters..." he promised, softly.

"We're going to need to discuss things eventually..." Glory murmured. "We can't ignore things much longer."

"I don't think it's such a good idea right now, however...neither of us are in the proper condition to have such a discussion..." Léan reminded her, quietly.

"I know," Glory said. "We both need more sleep, to start with." She snuggled closer. "Neither of us are all that pleasant to deal with if we haven't gotten sleep."

"I don't think either of us will have an easy time falling back to sleep, either..." Léan reasoned, softly. "...Unless you have medicine or something like it in the house, that could help us with headaches and bad dreams...?"

"After what happened last time?" Glory pointed out. "No. I can't take any right now, anyways."

Léan groaned, and then settled himself down again. "...Then what do we do?" he asked, curiously...wearily.

"I don't know," Glory replied. "I guess we can try to go back to sleep..." She didn't mention that she'd been having nightmares as well.

"...I have been having nightmares. I'm not sure if going back to sleep is the best thing to do," Léan replied, his voice a little low. He couldn't remember most of his nightmares, normally, but one in particular had stuck out...and he was a little afraid to go back to sleep for now.

"...I was, too," Glory admitted. "I kept waking up." Unlike him, she remembered most of her nightmares, but it was the last one that scared her the most.

"I didn't wake up, but..." Léan trailed off, slowly, and then lowered his eyes. "...Perhaps we should watch a movie together or something, to pass the time? Lleu suggested that I ask you about a movie called The Little Mermaid, and that I would have a blast ridiculing it..."

Glory blinked. She'd never really thought about it.

"I have that movie," she confirmed. She grinned. "He's right, you'd enjoy tearing it apart." She nudged him towards the other end of the bed. "A movie sounds good right now."

Léan nodded, and slowly began to shift towards the other end of the bed, following her physical direction. "How bad is it?" he asked, warily. "I know humans' perception of merpeople is very flawed, but...I just want a hint, as to what I'm getting into here..."

"Kindly save any outrage or hysterics until the movie is over," Glory replied. "And remember that it's a movie intended for little kids, and will therefore be cheesy and overly-cute at times." She grinned a bit. "I'll admit I watched it too many times as a kid, so I probably know all the lines." Getting up from the bed, she stretched a bit and absently rubbed her stomach a little before going out into the living room to put the movie in.

Léan followed her, frowning slightly. "I can't contain all of it, at once...while there are periods of silence, I will make some of my opinion heard..." He seemed to be getting back to his old self.

"There won't be many," Glory warned. "But that's what the pause button is for." Putting the movie in, she settled herself on the couch. One of her hands rested gently on her stomach, and she waited for Léan to get comfortable.

Léan relaxed beside her, curling up so that they would both be nice and cozy in their seats while the movie played. He still wasn't an expert on how movies and televisions worked...so he would just follow her lead.

Reaching over, Glory grabbed the remote and hit 'play'. Once the movie was started, she leaned over and snuggled closer to him, taking one of his arms and wrapping it around her shoulders so they'd both be more comfortable.

"Remember," she said, just as the beginning of the movie started, "no outrage or hysterics unless we pause the movie first."

Léan sat through the beginning of the movie without a word. As it started to progress, though, his tell-tale scowl and sour expression was becoming very apparent. He was already bursting with ridicule.

Glory couldn't help but giggle a bit at his expression.

"You were warned that it was bad," she murmured to him.

"This is not bad. This is pure madness," Léan retorted, scowl deepening. It was promising that he seemed to be getting back to his old self. He'd been off for many days, now.

"Oh I don't know, I still have a soft spot for the movie," Glory teased. "I told you, this is a kids' movie. It's meant to be a bit childish and more than a bit cheesy."

"It's not even childish. It's awful..." Léan growled, sourly. He seemed to be having a lot of fun, though it didn't look like it. He liked to pick things apart, especially if these things were human-made.

"You're still enjoying it," Glory pointed out. "You know you are." She couldn't help but tap her fingers in time to some of the catchier songs in the movie. She had the soundtrack somewhere, and she'd long since memorized the songs.
