Léan seemed to grow more and more appalled--and amused, at times--as the movie drug on. He was indeed enjoying himself. He couldn't believe that humans thought of his kind this way.

((Bed-time! Night!))

Glory was amused at his reaction to the movie. Absently, she wondered if she could get her hands on copies of Aquamarine and The Thirteenth Year. Granted, the latter was an old movie, but she was sure she could find it somewhere.

Léan seemed to grow bored towards the end of the movie, and stopped paying attention once the credits rolled. He was not yet in a full-on ranting mood.

Glory actually started to doze off near the end of the movie. She'd seen it so many times that she stopped paying attention, and she was snuggled comfortably with him. She didn't notice when she started to drift off, but it didn't take her long to fall asleep completely.

Léan stole a glance at her, and sighed when he found her asleep. He didn't want to wake her up...but he knew that even though he was fine with walking, attempting to carry her back to the bedroom would probably result in him losing his balance and falling. So, he leaned against her and stayed put, resting.

Glory didn't sleep for very long. Maybe it was from the nightmares earlier, but she didn't sleep very deeply and woke up easily. She blinked when she realized the movie was over and they were still on the couch.

"Sorry," she murmured. "Didn't mean to fall asleep on you..."

Léan jumped--he'd been falling asleep, just as she'd started to awaken. "...Oh. It's fine...perhaps...we should go to sleep, now..."

"Sleep sounds good," Glory agreed. She stood up and stretched. She had to pull her shirt back down after it rode up a bit over her stomach, but it wasn't something she could help. She was outgrowing most of her shirts already.

Léan yawned, softly, and stood up, offering his hand. "I think I will be able to sleep, now...but we'll just have to wait and see..." He was praying he didn't have any more nightmares.

Glory took his hand.

"Let's go snuggle in," she said. "I think we'll both be able to sleep better now."

Léan nodded, smiling. He quietly walked both of them back to her room, and settled down in bed.

Glory settled down next to him and snuggled close. She was exhausted from practically being up all night, and she just wanted to sleep.

Léan, this time, was asleep before she was. He settled down rather quickly, peacefully...it wasn't clear if he would stay that way, though.

Glory was asleep soon after, and when she woke up she would be grateful that there were no more nightmares.

Léan slept a little bit less than she did--when he woke up, it was a peaceful waking-up, for once. Therefore, he didn't feel the need to get up...he just laid in bed, blissfully unaware of what was going on outside.

Glory woke up snuggled comfortably with him. She'd slept well, once she was able to get back to sleep, and she was in an unusually good mood.

Léan was in a better mood. But he still wasn't completely himself. He wouldn't be, until he got some sort of serious reassurance about his conduct around children.

Perhaps those parenting classes would do him some good...at the very least, classes would boost his confidence.

Glory cuddled with him.

"You know," she said softly, "Selena gave me a good idea when I talked to her, and I said I would run it by you. She suggested parenting classes. I think it's a good idea, if we could find a small enough class."

"Parenting what?" Léan looked immensely puzzled. "...What are you talking about? How would it help...? My apologies, you know that when it comes to your world, I am, literally, a fish out of water..."

"Classes that help teach parenting skills," Glory replied. "We could both benefit from them." She knew she could use the classes, as well. Selena was right, the classes would help.

Léan chewed his lip. "...I...don't know how much good that would do, but...if you think these classes will help, then I have nothing to lose. Let's take them..."

"I do think it'll help," Glory replied. "It's a good idea for both of us." She would admit that she was out of her league when it came to raising a child, and they were going to have to raise two of them. She hesitated, then added, "I want these children, and I want to be able to raise them right." There. She'd opened the conversation.

Léan nodded, and then made a face at her comment, looking away again. He had immediately grown quite tense. "You know I can't agree with you. Not until I know I won't be a terrible person to small children," he replied, pointedly...firmly. There was little that was going to change his opinion.

"I know," Glory replied. She didn't like it, but she knew by this point what his opinion was. That was half the reason she thought the parenting classes were a good idea.

Léan seemed glad that she didn't push the issue. He backed off of it at once, eyes closing again. "So...what should we do today?" he asked, curiously.
