"I only want to if you want to," Léan informed her, firmly. He didn't want to force anything onto her, after all...

"I would rather you be comfortable," Glory pointed out. "I'll follow you if you want to go back out."

"...I do, but if you don't want to..." Léan trailed off, and scratched his head, sheepishly.

Glory hesitated for a second, then shook her head.

"We can go outside, if you want to," she replied. She wasn't all that thrilled about people seeing her now that her belly was starting to swell, but she would go with him if he wanted to go outside.

Léan smiled, and nodded. "I would like to...I miss the water." A sudden, nostalgic look came over his face--an ancient sort of grief. It lasted for a split second before disappearing. "Shall we?"

"Alright," Glory said, nodding a bit. She took his hand gently, waiting for him to move first.

Léan took the hint and stood up, silently leading the way back outside and to the beach.

Glory followed him, just as quietly. She kind of hoped that they would be able to find a quiet place to cuddle, but she knew it probably wouldn't happen right away.

Léan gracelessly stripped down once they reached the beach, and was quick to get into the water. Once he was comfortable, after rolling around a few times in the water, he sat in the shallows, tail flicking back and forth, and waited for her to finish up and join him.

Glory stripped down and followed him into the water. She still felt a bit self-conscious, but she tried to ignore it.

Léan, perhaps sensing her insecurity, immediately wrapped his arms around her. Surprisingly, his tail joined his arms, entwining around hers. He had done this several times before--it was a gesture of security.

Glory snuggled into the embrace immediately, comforted.

"Sorry..." she murmured softly.

"...For?" Léan's expression was puzzled. He wasn't quite sure what she was apologizing for...but he quickly brushed it off. "Shall we find your mother first, and get it over with? We can find somewhere quiet afterwards..."

"I don't mean to be so easily upset..." Glory rested her head on his shoulder for a moment. "I guess we should probably find her... I just hope she's gotten over herself by now..."

Léan nodded, and slowly uncurled himself from her. "Let's search for her...I smell Azilis nearby, seeing as he has a strong scent...I hope he is with her. If not, he should know where to find her..."

He started off towards the right.

Glory followed him, staying close.

Azilis noticed the two as they got closer. He wasn't all that surprised to see them. He knew that things between Glory and Clarissa weren't exactly settled.

Judging by the look on Azilis' face, Léan did not need to give specifics. "Do you know where she is?" he asked, gently. "We would like to...attempt to speak with her. That is, if she is willing to speak instead of scream."

"I do believe she would be willing to talk this time," Azilis said. It had taken a while, but he'd been able to talk Clarissa around, at least partially. "Last I checked, she was out closer to the reef."

Léan nodded, respectfully, and then turned out towards the reef, lazily swimming towards it. He seemed unsure about what was going to happen during this talk.

Glory followed. She wasn't looking forward to the talk, but she had to believe that her mother was in a better mood than last time.

Léan yawned as he swam, and then hesitated, slowly. "...What do you think will come of this talk?" he asked, quietly, as he looked around for Clarissa.

((Bed-time. Night!))

"I don't know," Glory admitted. "I just... I want to clear the air between us. I'm tired of fighting. I know we'll probably always disagree, but I just don't want to fight with her anymore."

"At least your parental relations are better than mine." Léan had not spoken or even ventured remotely near to either of his parents since Honeydew's rescue. The two were inseparable, and though Léan knew he and his mother needed to catch up, he didn't want to deal with Betelgeuse, and couldn't bring himself to approach her while the two of them are always around each other.

"Marginally," Glory replied. She didn't want to talk to her mother, but she knew it had to be done. Maybe once they'd talked, things would smooth out a bit.

Léan shrugged, not seeming to agree, but he didn't argue. He finally spotted Clarissa out near the back of the reef, milling among a school of fish.
