Léan frowned, thinking. "...Perhaps we could just take a drive around the area and see what we can find?" he suggested, finally. "It is better than standing here and feeling rather tense for some odd reason..."

"We can't just leave Viktor here, though," Glory pointed out. As much as she wanted to go out, she couldn't just leave her 'guest' by himself.

"Perhaps he's feeling up to coming with? We could ask him..." Léan offered, hesitantly. "...Or, we could have your mother come in and check on him every hour to make sure he's all right. She can come out of water, after all...and if she hears what happened to him, she might be willing to..."

"It might be best to ask my mother to check in every so often," Glory replied. "Elsewise, I doubt we'll be able to get out of here." She was a bit reluctant to head outside, though. If it was warmer out, she wouldn't think twice about it, but in the winter she had twice as much to change in and out of to move into the water.

Léan, who didn't mind the cold, chewed his lip slightly. "...I can go outside and find her. The cold doesn't bother me...you might want to see if Viktor wants to eat the rest of that cornbread while we're gone, too."

He turned and headed outside, quickly stripping down and slipping into the water. He searched around for Clarissa.

Glory nodded.

"Alright," she said. Once he went outside, she took the rest of the corn bread out to Viktor. "Want the rest?" she asked him.

Clarissa was relaxing by the rocks. She had nothing to do at the moment, and her mate was out hunting.

Viktor, who had turned the channel and was now watching Cops, sniffed the air appreciatively. "If you're done, I'll take it," he offered, beaming. Food was one way to get on his good side. He seemed to be favoring his wound, still...but he would be better, soon.

Léan timidly approached her and explained what had happened to Viktor. "We want to go out for a while...would you mind popping in every once in a while to make sure he hasn't reopened his wound or something...?"

"Craving's sated, so it's all yours," Glory replied, setting the glass pan down on the coffee table, within reach. "We're heading out for a while, I think, so my mother might pop in and out to check and make sure you're not dead or anything."

Clarissa considered for a moment, before nodding.

"Just make sure to look after Glory, alright?" she said. "Don't let her over-exert herself or anything."

"Well that's a nice way of putting it," Viktor teased as he dug into the cornbread. "You should be thankful I turned Shop Erotic off. They were running out of interesting toys..."

"I won't...we don't even know what we're doing yet. We're just going to ride around for a while..." Léan shrugged. "Thank you for agreeing to check on him."

He quietly turned and left, hopping out of the water and drying himself off with the towels they still had laid out there. Once he was dry, he pulled his clothes back on.

"I think you're the only person I know who actually watches that channel," Glory pointed out. "You're weird." She was just waiting for Léan to come back inside, now.

"Oh, no. Curry watches it, too..." Viktor snickered. "They have nice stuff..."

Léan stepped inside, his hair damp and messy. "She'll check up on him every hour or so," he revealed, nodding. Mission accomplished.

Glory rolled her eyes at Viktor and gently took Léan's hand.

"Come on, then," she said softly. "I think I know somewhere we can go." It wasn't quite so cold that they couldn't spend a little time at the park.

"Toodle-oo..." Viktor called, as they left. He never took things all that seriously...it was odd to see, really.

Léan nodded, allowing her to lead the way outside. He didn't mind the cold, so he didn't really need a coat or anything like it.

Glory put her coat on, to be on the safe side. She didn't know how mch cold she could handle before it affected the twins.

"Come on," she said. "We're heading out to the park for a bit."

Léan nodded, curiously. A park? He knew what a park was...but why were they going to a park? He was mystified...but he wouldn't ask, for now.

The drive to the park wasn't long, and it was easy enough to find parking. There were only a few other cars, so the park wasn't crowded at all.

"This was my favorite place to come to, as a kid," Glory commented as she got out of the car. "I used to sit on the swings and daydream for hours."

Léan nodded, studying the place curiously. He wasn't quite sure what its main function was...but if she was fond of it, then he wouldn't say anything negative. "I simply used to spend time in the deep ravines near my hometown...taking a lamp with me so I could explore..."

Glory led him over to the swings and sat down in one. There were a few other families around, and one or two of the mothers looked at her curiously as she walked by, but she ignored them. She was used to such looks by now. There were little kids running around, as well, so she made sure not to get in their way.

Léan sat down in the one next to her, leaning against the chains that held it to the bar above them.

Glory sat and watched the little kids running around and swayed back and forth on the swing a little. Reaching over, she took his hand gently.

Léan squeezed her hand in response. He was staring off into the distance, at something other than the children playing. He still did not like children. He would have to be precariously eased into the idea...

Glory noticed how quiet he was being.

"Something bothering you?" she asked softly.

Léan blinked, and then shook his head. "No...I'm fine..." He seemed uncomfortable around children, but he wouldn't admit that. Even though it was rather obvious. He glanced up towards the sky.

Reaching over, Glory grabbed one of the chains of his swing and pulled the two swings closer so that she could lean over and give him a kiss. She pulled away when she heard a bit of giggling. She glanced over to see some of the little kids watching them. There were just a few of them, a boy and two girls.

"I didn't know grown-ups liked the swings," one of the girls said. Glory grinned.

"Grown-ups do like the swings," she said, nodding. The kids couldn't have been more than six or seven, and she knew how to handle kids that age.

"Why is her tummy so big?" the little boy whispered to one of the girls. The girl he whispered to pushed him a bit.

"Dummy, she's probably going to have a baby," the she said back. Glory was impressed at how smart the girl was.

"Two, actually," she said. The two kids jumped and looked a bit guilty at being caught. They didn't get the chance to say anything, though, because one of the mothers came over.

"Don't bother the nice lady, you three," the woman scolded.

"It's alright," Glory replied. The woman nodded at her distractedly and herded the three kids away.

Léan did not know how to handle kids of any age. Therefore, the moment he heard them giggling and saw them staring, his attention and eyesight was focused elsewhere.

He listened to them talk to her and exchange a few words, but he himself remained silent. Unlike most people, he didn't think that kids were cute in any way. Honestly, he thought they were stupid and far too innocent for their own good, sheltered by parents from all the bad things in the world so that when they started to grow up, all the bad things would smack them in the face.

He found it rather deplorable, and pitiful.
