"It wasn't that bad," Glory murmured to him once the kids were gone. "Kids that age are always curious."

Léan shrugged, still uncomfortable. "I suppose they are." Perhaps this dislike and fear of his were just inherited traits? It seemed like it was awful hard to erase them..."

"You know, we need to come up with some names pretty soon..." Glory said softly. It was true that she'd been thinking a little about names, but she wanted his opinion too.

"We cannot do that without knowing genders," Léan countered, pointedly. He still seemed a little disinterested...

"Not true," Glory replied. "There are only three possible combinations: two girls, two boys, or one of each. So we could think of two names for each gender, and we'll be covered." It made sense to her, at least.

Léan made a face. "I would rather be sure of genders before making any big decisions," he offered, pointedly, before glancing forward again. He figured it was safe, since the children from earlier had left.

"Then you can be the one to ask," Glory said. She rubbed her stomach gently. "I kind of like the name Autumn, for a girl."

Léan shrugged. "I don't particularly want to ask...because if I do, I know what will happen. Lleu will start to ask me a bunch of questions about why I don't like children. I don't feel like talking to him about it."

"He probably knows anyways," Glory pointed out. "He seems to know everything else already."

Léan shook his head, shoulders going up to his chin. "I'd rather not...I don't really like dealing with his omniscient questions..."

"Then you're just going to have to help me think of a few different names," Glory said. "I don't mind not knowing genders until the children are born."

Léan shrugged, indicating that he had no favorite names for either gender. Names weren't something he focused on. He rarely named anything--he hadn't even named any family pets he had had back home.

Glory sighed.

"This is supposed to be something we do together, you know," she said softly. "They're your children too."

"I'm aware of that," Léan retorted, still seeming defensive. "I don't have any ideas for names, is all. I'm not good with naming things...I couldn't even name...well...anything, at all, when I was little. And I've never had anything to name in my adulthood years..."

"At least try to think of one name," Glory replied softly. "Just so I'm not doing everything myself."

"I can't think of a name off of the top of my head. Perhaps another time, after I have had time to think." He hadn't thought about it, not once. He didn't know of any names that even sounded good on the tongue.

"Alright," Glory said. She could agree to that. She herself had really only thought of one name for each gender, so they would need at least two more names anyways.

Léan rested his head against the swing chain, closing his eyes. He already seemed worn out. Arguing of any kind, even if it wasn't nasty or intense, got to him.

Glory could see he was a bit upset.

"We can go home, if you like," she offered softly. She didn't like that she was the reason he was unhappy.

"I don't mind staying here for a bit longer," Léan informed her, his eyes squeezed shut. "I'm just getting one nasty headache..."

"Then we should head home," Glory pointed out. "I mean, if you're not feeling well..." She wouldn't mind going home, though she wasn't entirely sure if he wanted some time to himself or not.

"All right..." Léan agreed, finally, as he stood up. He extended his arm, once again, to help her up. He was enough of a gentleman to do that, at least.

Glory accepted the help gratefully and stood up.

"Come on, let's get you home," she said softly, walking with him back to the car.

Léan trudged along after her, his arms wrapped around himself. His head was pounding in pain.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Glory asked as they got into the car. It wouldn't take long at all to get home, but she was still worried about him.
