Lleu nodded, then bowed his head slightly. "That's all I needed to say...I'd best be off, now..." He waved goodbye, and then quickly disappeared into deeper water.

Glory watched him go, thinking about what he'd said. As soon as she was able, she would start to keep an eye on Aster. She didn't want anything to happen to the others, so she would do what she could to keep them safe.

Léan returned shortly after Lleu left. He had with him a nice big tuna...not big enough that it was hard to carry, but a nice, big fish in terms of eating.

Glory grinned when she saw him getting back, although she had no idea how they were going to get the tuna into the house. She certainly couldn't haul it inside on her own, so unless he carried it for her, there was going to be a problem.

Léan noted her concern. "I'll carry it in. I just don't know where it goes," he reminded her, a bit sheepish about not knowing. Though he'd spent so much time on land already, he still knew very little of the human world.

"Just put it into the sink for now," Glory replied. It took some effort, but she manage to stand up carefully. "You can help me take it apart in a bit."

Léan nodded, slowly. He set the fish down on the rock so he could pull himself out of the water and wrap a towel around his waist. Once he had the towel wrapped, he picked the fish up by the tail with one hand and extended the other to her.

Glory took his hand gratefully and carefully stepped down from the rock.

"Thanks," she murmured. Once she was safely on the sand again, she rubbed her stomach a bit. "Not much longer... Maybe a few more days, right?"

"Perhaps." Léan was more comfortable with the topic, but was in no way enthusiastic. He probably wouldn't be, not even after they were born. Serious coaxing would be needed.

He led the way inside, holding the fish, and then set it out in the sink.

Glory was about as ready as she could be for the twins to arrive. She'd gotten together as many supplies as she could, and at least had the basics ready. She was still nervous, though. She didn't know how well the delivery would go, so she was naturally apprehensive about it.

She gave him a kiss once he set the fish in the sink.

"Go get dressed," she said. "I'll start breaking this down and stashing it in the freezer."

Léan nodded, hesitantly leaving her side to find his clothes, which were stored away in her bedroom. He was tired from hunting and didn't feel like doing much, yet...

Glory rolled up her sleeves and started to carefully deconstruct the tuna witha knife. It was something she'd gotten used to doing, although now it was harder to reach for the simple reason that her stomach was getting in the way.

Léan changed slowly into some simple clothes and returned, rubbing at his eyes. He had been out and about all day, and was rather tired now.

Glory could tell he was tired.

"You can go lay down, if you like," she said. She could easily finish taking apart the fish on her own. It would just take a little longer than usual.

Léan shook his head, opening his eyes a little more. "No, no. I'll be fine. I want to help..." He shuffled forward to help her out with the fish.

"I'm working with knives, and you're falling asleep," Glory pointed out. "That's not exactly the best combination. I'll be alright, you go on and take a nap."

Léan frowned at her. "At least let me get rid of what you don't need..." He was offering to get rid of the scraps. Surely he could either eat them or toss them out into the water? Others would pick organs and eyes off rather quickly...even scales.

Glory considered it for a moment, then nodded.

"Alright," she said. If he wanted to help, she wouldn't stop him.

Léan picked out choicer organs and one of the eyes while she worked, taking them aside to eat for himself. He took the rest as she cut it out and set it outside, on the rocks. The smell would attract some of the other merpeople...his brother, for sure. And perhaps Aster.

Glory cut the fish into small enough pieces to fit in the freezer and wrapped them up properly to freeze. She let him pick through the other pieces as he liked, and cleaned up the rest once she was done.

Léan seemed happy that he'd been able to help, but now he was even more tired than before. He kind of just stood there in the kitchen, awkwardly.

Glory leaned over and gave him a kiss.

"Go lay down," she said. "I need to finish cleaning this up here, but you look like you're about to fall over."

Léan sighed. "Fine..." he agreed, unwillingly. He turned and trotted aimlessly towards her bedroom, so he could curl up and rest in the bed.

Glory finished cleaning up the kitchen, and then made her way into the bedroom herself. Her walking was a bit slow, but she managed to climb into bed next to him and cuddle close.

Léan didn't seem to feel very well. He'd been running around nonstop for the past few days, barely allowing himself a chance to rest.
